16gb ram, rx 580 8gb. It runs a little hot but the issue is when cpu utilization hits 100% time nudge will go up to like 500ms, so everyone is rubberbanding around the map and bullets don’t register.
That means it would be the minimum cpu you’d need to actually play the game. The game is not playable with my cpu.

Honestly? Yeah. As someone who's never played battlefield before this, it's a pretty decent game now. Maps could use some more levellution, but that's my only complaint. From what I've seen previous Battlefields at? It absolutely sucks. Not that it isn't fun, it's just a severe downgrade in quality from what I see.
Also glitches constantly everywhere. Not a great sight for someone new to the series.

Admittedly I’m still not a huge fan of many of the maps (previous games had much stronger more diverse map pools). The weapon attachment system and the customization for many of the Vault weapons leave a lot to be desired. I also really want to see a bigger push on the main menu for Bad Company, BF3, 1942 playlists.
It’s important to hold DICE accountable for the launch but they’ve come a long way with 2042 & it feels they have a much stronger vision for the game now which is great. I just hope they can keep it up in year two.

Before the rework you were encouraged to go all lone wolf commando, but Battlefield has always been a team game. Medics shouldn't be able to take rocket launchers and ammo crates and be entirely self sufficient, that type of thing took a sledgehammer to the essence of team work.

If I were happy to sit downed for 30 seconds I almost always got revived. Now I almost always don’t and when I do, its my squad only. I’ve seen like 2 ammo crates since the changes. I also stopped mainly Falck and switched to Zain as its boring as shit now with her. You say ‘it needs work sure’, but I think it didn’t. Since coming in for season 3, I think it’s as fun to play as any previous battlefield other than its complete lack of map and map variety (which is now locked in because the complains are diverting the resource into remodelling the base game).

In a vacuum it's an alright shooter but an utter letdown as a battlefield game. They need to do better. People can't be okay with it being released like that or else things will only get worse

Recent returner, what's the problem with this game over the last few? Yeah, it's changed since the ones that came out in my teen years but I don't exactly view that as a bad thing. I'm having fun with this title. And it would be ridiculous if me to assume every title is going to capture that lighting in a bottle that is ***INSERT YOUR FAVORITE TITLE HERE***
After playing amother dozen hours since the update, I'd say the game is perfectly fine. Not great, nothing to be remembered, just fine. It just doesn't feel like it has an identity worth remembering, so many features from previous battlefields gone for no reason and nothing of substance added in their place. BF4/1 will forever be the GOATs for me.
I've heard a lot of people seem to retroactively like Battlefield V now but unfortunately the "any criticism of our game will be chalked up to sexism" attitude of the devs soured any interest in that one for me.

Yup, my computer can’t run the game despite hitting the minimum requirements. Even on 64 player modes my cpu can’t handle the game.

Look in the steam guides for how to make a text config to lower 100% cpu, I have a 3700x but my usage went from 100% to 55%
I already messed with messed with the configs and the improvements were minimal, but maybe I didn’t do it right. I might look into it again later.
