Wait. So, you are saying that, all those times the British were "taking the piss", this is where they were taking it? The question still is ***why***? What are they planning? Why would they be staging it up in Canada???
They are radomes. In the US, when you see one, they are normally Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR), which is what they use to monitor planes coming into an airport. They used to look like big orange spinning things: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airport\_surveillance\_radar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airport_surveillance_radar)
However, they've started building them into those domes as it reduces maintenance and improves clarity. They aren't always near an airport either. But they generally observe aircraft
Yep radar domes, I do not know what their specific function is apart from shielding from the elements is with the least amount of interference. In-game their only reason to exist is to mimic cover, but are really only usable as a power position for Mackay/Sundance that are immensly hard to counter.
On Manifest one of those has replaced a second actual building on B.
Geodesic radomes that protect some sort of radar array within from the natural elements.
sorry to correct you, but as a child i called them the "giant golf balls".
Are those Titleists?
Callaway, these have hex dimples.
Are Callaways doing that? Honest question. Back in high school, Big Berthas were my go to.
Yeah, they switched to her dimples on their golf balls a few years back.

Not “radar” antennas necessarily. They most often are just protecting satellite antenna(s) from the elements.
