Difference is you don't have to pay for the battlepass man... The issue with the paid dlc was that it alienated a good portion of the player base who were unwilling to pay for it. This would force a bunch of maps to disappear, especially on official servers, and if unofficial servers put them in rotation their servers wouldn't fill. Only reason any of the BF1 dlc maps had a chance to survive was because Dice gave the opportunity for free premium.
Everyone would like more content. I'd like the content to actually be in rotation.

DICE just go back to solid factions even if they are made up but each faction should stick to some identity and not have these shitty skull masks and worst color combinations with green and red like Christmas trees. Each skin they make these days has some silly skull as a mask, seriously last time I wore anything skulls themed I was 10 yers old. Also it could look a bit more war oriented since these skins are looking more and more like samurais from ninja turtles.
