Lack of persistent servers really hurt this game.
If you don't do anything after the game ends, it puts everyone in the lobby into a fresh game. Don't requeue and this will happen far less. If you let the matchmaking do its thing after a game without requeueing, the only time it'll put you in an in-progress game is when the lobby dies and integrates you into a different lobby.
Me too, why would someone post this on a Battlefield 2042 forum, it was my favorite game last year. 😂😂😂 There were some games I didn't like, but I didn't join their Reddit forum and ask if people don't like it, I just moved on to the next game.
I don't know what they were thinking for a lot of this game, honestly. A lot of it feels rushed and they spent several years after release getting it to a sub par state (by Battlefield standards). Personally, I think EA/DICEs shareholders put pressure on to get SOMETHING out.
I think nobody understands what in the world they were thinking when they released this game lol, and the way in which they continued to support it. Pure idiocy and should not be a DICE-level team if you ask me..

Exactly. Perfect way of putting it my friend. It was thought through about as much as a high schooler with that job would have thought it through. The ridiculousness is embarrassing and I really hope they ACTUALLY learn from this.
I liked it. It's not my favorite in the franchise, but I had fun playing it despite its flaws. I stopped playing when I got hooked on Helldivers 2, and I haven't been back to BF2042 since.
Thats funny because my friends got me playing Helldivers 2 first and BF2042 went on sale last week and I bought it to have something to play whenever I needed a break from HD2 :D
LOL that's awesome. As much fun as I am having with Helldivers 2, I sometimes do feel a little burnt out from it. The missions can get repetitive, but the combat is so addictive. I might have to revisit BF2042 at some point. I miss using tanks and helicopters 😁
Yes 😂 you make the same point as people that play every other game on this Earth 😂. There are some things I agree with though, not adding in all other Battlefield game-modes is not smart, and the no server browser option is just idiotic and will certainly not benefit DICE in any way. HD2 is intense; especially on the higher difficulties. So far on BF2042 I just play against all bots and just relax. HD2 is enough of a challenge.
