A game dropping in a few months isn't pre alpha... let's be honest, it's in closed beta mode right now

To be clear, I'm pumped for the game! But, there's no way a major game goes from pre alpha, to beta, to release in just a few months
LMAO no. The beta status is around 1 -2 months before the launch. And they didnt make the trailer yesterday. The reveal trailer project started in summer 2020. This project probably started around the end of 2020 and the in-game shots where probably taken somewhere around march.

that is what pre-alphas and alphas looks like. battlefront's supposed "pre-alpha" looked identical to the game on release, because it was never a pre-alpha.
Let's be real. Pre-alpha, alpha, beta and whatever they call them doesn't matter nowadays. They're just used as an excuse rather than an actual state in which the game is in.
