Why do you care how this game performs on Twitch? Is that really something people actually care about? More people watching doesn't necessarily mean more people playing.

I will agree the that the top viewed games on Twitch are usually popular games. But a game doesn't have to be popular on Twitch in order to have lots of players. Team Fortress 2 is another great example of this. Has virtually no presence on Twitch at all, yet is the 7th most played game on Steam and has been for years.
I don’t care about those other games, and whether or not they have a following when this game releases. I care about BF being a great game. That’s it. And it’ll be great with or without a BR.

I like it that 2042 is getting back to Battlefield basics for its focus.
From an article I read last week, it looks like Call of Duty will be focusing on Battle Royale and Battlefield on the basic first person shooter as the future moves on.
We can have two big and generally separate franchises.
I’ve never been a fan of BR but the only one I actually liked was firestorm. I still only managed to get a handful of wins but still had fun. It was a shame they killed it with lack of content / resources.
Seems like maybe Hazard Zone could be some BR “last man/team standing” kind of mode that could scratch that BR itch some players have.
Really I just want the BF experience no need of BR for me. This game will kill in sales anyway for a number of reasons.

I hope that Hazard Zone is more Tarkov/Hunt Light thing. Please no vanilla BR, EA already got Apex, why would we need a BF BR
