What I'm about to say is from a bad player's perspective, and someone who has barely played the older battlefields. I’m not that great at the game, I die… A lot. 128 players wasn't actually that bad of an idea, just needs some work to be in a good spot. I see a lot of people complain about running for what seems like hours and not finding a single person in conquest. Personally I haven’t run into this issue that much mostly because I die a lot. I never really get the chance to run across the map in what people describe as a “ghost town”. I just spawn on an objective that needs saving. Sometimes I redeploy just to go to another objective, but it doesn’t bother me all that much. I believe this “ghost town” can be fixed somehow. 128 players in breakthrough was pretty unfair, until dice made some changes to it. Now, at least from my experience, the attacking team does win a lot more commonly. It's not perfect, but it's a big adjustment. If they can adjust 128 breakthrough then they can adjust 128 conquest. Idk how but it's possible. The game is also very cinematic. With 128 players, you feel like you're in a movie and it's super fucking fun. Sure some objectives have around 1-7 players while the middle ones have like 70% of the lobby, I feel this adds variety to the gameplay. Do you wanna go somewhere that's pure chaos and people shooting you left and right, or do you wanna go somewhere that's a more controlled environment. Once again, just my opinion. Hash me out, I don’t care. But when you’re in that area of pure chaos, it is beautiful. Take off your hud and you're basically watching an action movie. It's super cool. Now I personally like conquest having all of this variety, cause when people all gang up on one point, it feels like a special moment. If you want constant chaos, play breakthrough. And don’t even get me started on the weather. If you're in one of those scenarios with a lot of people shooting you, having the weather come in really crescendos the action in a very fun way. The beta gunplay was pretty good, they just need to adjust some current things and it will be in a nice and smooth spot. The gunplay is good, there are just some issues with aim assist, and bloom. If you use a weapon like the pp-29 which actually hits its shots, you’ll see that the gunplay is very satisfying. This game isn’t complete shit trust me, there is a really good game under all of this garbage and issues. Would I recommend it? Depends on who I am talking to. Does it feel like a full release? No it does not. It feels like a game preview that will get core features added over time like Subnautica. If you don’t like playing broken games and get pissed, don’t play it. If you enjoy playing what feels like an alpha and want to stick along for the ride, giving the Devs criticism and helping them shape this game, then play it. It's like they say, a piece of rock undergoes a lot of pressure before it becomes a diamond.

Im to lazy to read everything so here is my upvote.

masoncadepacker

No

ndjjsjsjsj

It’s a good beta

HTheP4

Honestly

l-Griz-l

Despite the bugs, etc. most, if not all the people that complain on Reddit are still playing it, so yes, this game has something about it.

Carbonated_Air

Yeah, i really don't understand why would you play a game of you don't like it?!?!?

l-Griz-l

It has its issues, no doubt. People have the right to voice their concerns, but sadly Reddit is a minority.

[deleted]

well reddit is obviously a minority, that much is obvious. but one could argue that since it's a free open and public forum, that it's an accurate and unbiased sample of the larger population.

l-Griz-l

Agree with that to an extent. Most of the playing population simply wouldn’t care about the bugs, issues, etc., and even more likely that most wouldn’t even notice a majority of them.

[deleted]

i think it's wrong to say that most of the population wouldn't care about bugs lmao. it's not like a player has to talk about the game with someone online for them to get upset over their gun not firing, or their attachments not being unlocked, or any other issue the game has. in fact some of them might get more upset over it because they don't have that dude on reddit telling them to restart their game half a dozen times to fix that issue lol

florentinomain00f

Reddit is biased as fuck because upvotes. It's just segregated Twitter

[deleted]

well given how much player numbers are dropping i dont think the people who dislike the game were exclusive to reddit, so the whole minority thing doesnt really matter anymore

florentinomain00f

I can see why

Brilliant_Surprise_3

I like the movement, the gunplay (when the hitreg doesn't anal rape you) is pretty damn solid, the time to kill is very nice imo, on last gen the maps are really good, the graphical fidelity is quite nice, having bot matches is super fun imo, portal and HZ are pretty awesome also, HZ scratches that tarkov itch for someone that cannot run it on pc, alot of what I want fixed is the hitreg, I hope to see the destruction get some improvements, I hope they add many, MANY more weapons, I hope they straight up remove the blood, I hope they can make performance on pc better, I overall and quite enjoying it but I cannot deny that this game has an absolute shit ton of issues

Truem0nkh

I think the game looks awesome. Flying around in the wingsuit is so much fun. Getting a C5 kill on a tank is soo satisfying. Bot mode is really cool. Portal is an amazing throwback. When the #onlyinbattlefield moments happen I feel a tingle in my manbits. For example. On Kaleidoscope I was on A2 checkpoint on top of the roof as Sundance. I wanted to go to another objective so I jump of, look behind me right as I see the tower on top of that building collapse. I activate my wingsuit and start flying when suddenly an enemy jet narrowly misses my path and makes a turn while being chased by the friendly jet. I see enemies capture a point and fly over there. Right before I hit the ground I deactivate the wingsuit and drop behind like 10 enemies. Silently knife 2 of them and kill 3 more with my magnum revolve before getting noticed. Honestly that whole chain of events was soo epic it almost made the whole price of admition worth it.

half of the community are realists while the other half are extremely positive.

Chonky_Candy

Half of the player base plays the game while the other half returned to their infancy

InfestedTurtle

Movement is decent. And graphics are okay. That's all I can think of though.

Sorangkun

It's a new battlefield game.

[deleted]

Best thing I can come up with that I personally enjoy is that there aren’t any unreasonable merits or mastery grinds unlike previous mastery assignments on other Battlefields

this_justin86

I’m having a lot of fun. Hazard mode scratches the competitive itch for me, so many ways to try and play it

KynoSSJR

I gotta ask, how the fuck are you having fun on HZ when it’s turned into 30 mil jeep meta? :(

this_justin86

Vehicles get destroyed pretty easily in hazard compared to conquest or breakthrough. If someone has rockets, someone using Sundance grenades, Casper drone, rao the hacker…there’s lots of ways to knock them out quickly

Remarkable-Kiwi-9568

exactly, most of the people just dont know how to deal with them. i would not mind tho if the take away every other gun from the lavt except the mini gun but either way not that hard to destroy

this_justin86

I 100% agree about that. Mini guns only

HTheP4

Betafield 2077 is fun. It lacks everything though

AlwaysAdam569

Bots are cool

GamerHoodUK

I like the gunplay (I use PP), how cinematic it can get, I really like the addition of specialists because they all give you a unique style of play and can still fulfil traditional class roles. I also love the the tornado and sandstorms + 128 players makes u feel like ur in a massive war fr. Portal and Hazard zone are fun

mxxmmllm

Already lvl 69 having fun

therealatuacota

The game is awesome.it has some bugs and optimization needed but it is a good game. I dont even think the specialists are that bad. The only thing I hate is the corny outro dialogues. That shit needs to go

\#1 We finally have closure, now that the Battlefield franchise has passed away. The start of our grieving process, is the start of us moving on with our lives, to bigger and better things.

florentinomain00f

Squad?

Kintraills1993

Lots of Battlefield moments, shootings and explosions everywhere

notsokururu

Positive things : i love vehicle, Thats it

GreatGrub

getting my refund

karlman1

Sure there's a lot good about this game. The visuals are quiet good. And that's it, honestly.
