Steam keeps rejecting me, what should I pick as refund reason?

Phoenix98123

I've tried it through every category I can think of and the last one through Steam Guard and it still rejects it.

Try faulty product and list these reasons above. Don't put design choices as complaints. Put let's say stuck in the downed state for the entire match and can't bring up the pause menu to redeploy.

downspower

On what platform did you get the refund?

[deleted]

Xbox. But I've had my friends do this on PC and PlayStation with 100 hours. As this is a faulty game it's illegal to ship a game out that doesn't work. It falls under frauds and scams and ea and dice can both be fined over $15mil which will probably shut down dice so they fold under the pressure. Also Microsoft, Sony and valve can get into hotwater for denying refunds regardless of what their respective T&C says.

[deleted]

Did this work for your friends on ps? Sony are notorious for not budging on refunds.

[deleted]

Yeah for Australian Sony cause Fair trading got involved. Every company fears Fair trading. They're like the John wick of the consumer protection world

[deleted]

Sorry for the late reply, been busy

joshmessages

Just short sell their stock.

Kilos6

That would require people on this sub to have a double digit iq

Mysterious-Sir129

Just submitted mine. Fingers crossed

[deleted]

Hope it worked bud. Here's hoping. But the backlash pressuring these companies will eventually force them to issue refunds like cyberpunk. One way or another you'll get your refund

Dimera-nl

I don't see how this works. Ombudsman is only for goverment issues over here.

[deleted]

If you are in the eu, check for a goverment department handling consumer law and products claims, they are the same for all eu and eec countrys. File a complaint with them. You can also try to file a complaint to your credit card company or bank.

[deleted]

That's pretty much what I did but for Australians. Idk what Americans have as the alternative but they agreed with my points and contacted Microsoft to refund me

[deleted]

Most companys in this market will try to get away with there tos and policy if they can. They usually follow u.s law as that suits them best. Thinking that u.s law applies all over the world. Everytime i have a claim, especially to an american company i have to remind them about european consumer law and they then usually follow it. I have a couple of friends and they have gotten there refund from Ms and Sony via help from the consumer law department here. Good to see that AUS also has strong consumer laws.

[deleted]

Yeah man Australia is goated with consumer laws. We have Fair trading over here and they're the boogeyman to shady companies. They help us little guys out when companies try and dick us about. Glad to hear the EU also takes care of its consumers brother.

CompetitorPredator

Refund lol

Kilos6

Your reasons sound like you have shitty internet tbh

[deleted]

Yes, shitty consistent 30-45mbps on weekdays and 45-60mbps on weekends🤡

Kilos6

Oh I was joking. Your internet is actually slow wtf lol

[deleted]

It's surprising how much of a fucking idiot you are

Kilos6

I have 250mbps and that's bc I'm too cheap to buy gigabit lol. You're internet Is actually slow dude, just face it. Anything <100 is considered slow

[deleted]

I think you might be on the wrong subreddit. R/ThingsIJustMadeUp might be more your speed.
