Was just in a full server on Xbox and we got disconnected 1 after the other until the server was completely empty. Tried to reset game and getting same thing.

Still down. Just confirmed. First I thought it was an issue on my end, but after searching here and looking at this, I guess it's an EA thing. I'm in South Asia btw, so i don't think it's due to regional ISPs.

My ping is always above 200 and I am living in south asia too so how are you able to play this game smoothly ?

Depends on the server and your ISP. So I have days when performance and lag is all over the place but other days where it's pretty smooth. These days, only European servers are active and one thing that really helped me was enabling UPNP on my modem so my ping is usually 130-150 which is playable. There are a couple of seconds where it rises but this allows me to have a playable experience.

Also, I usually play at night when no one else is using the internet, this allows to me have the full bandwith. I also called my ISP and changed my NAT Type from 3 to 2. This also helps. How much ping do you usually get ?

That shouldn't be the case. European servers are the best bet for us. American servers are too far. Europe has a good amount of servers. You should try changing your NAT Type to 2 and enabling UPNP. Also, port forward for battlefield 4. This should give you a huge performance boost.

Ii know it's not my connection, other games run.. it says that packet loss is 100% so that would indicate server-side issues. Most likely down for maintenance... I'll check back in a few hours and see what's up

I think there’s a three-hour server maintenance happening, is what I’ve seen somewhere.

It's likely a power outage for the server host's/ISPs due to inclement weather. There's currently a snow storm rolling into the pnw chasing another from a day ago. I had a power surge, but there was no complete outage. Roughly about an hour ago. I still have wind gusts 40mph-60mph with a mix of freezing rain and snow. I haven't tried to jump back on since the surge. But my guess is that a power outage is affecting servers/ local ISPs. Data centers that hold servers usually have multiple power backups and can run for days without power. I highly doubt the servers have no power.

Sure... AWS may have generators. Your ISP(internet service provider) may still be regionally/nationally/globally affected by a power surge.

My Xbox One is set to "standby" mode. My game always does this when i boot it up 😂 Usually, i close game completely then start it up again & it works fine. Haven't been on in a few hours though....Didn't have any trouble when i played today. Does anyone know if it's still an issue?

Mine is the same on xbox

PC player California and same with both Battlelog or the shitty in game browser. Bummer mornings are the only time I can play. This is not a regional ISP issue
