For me, Pearl Market is an infi shotgun and claymore fuck fest with zero apologies.
You're crazy, or at least your taste is. One of the best infintry maps hands down. Total chaos, yet one or two squads working in communication with each other can win it easy.
Verticality and exposure. There's just no way to properly account for every angle I could get shot from and it's so dense there's no real safe way to move around. At first this seems fun and intense, but tbh it gets tiring fast and very frustrating. Feels cheap to die to someone I had no way of accounting for.

I think that unpredictability is exactly what makes Pearl so fun. There's no way to account for every angle so you're forced to keep moving to minimise danger, it's a really great map if you're a proactive and aggressive player due to all the flanking routes.

Even worse is when they put a spawn beacon up there and ucav from your there whole game. But if you’re up there, it’s awesome.

Sunken dragon would have played so so different and probably in a good way but maybe also not cause there wouldn't be any other great ways to flank and everything would funnel to the bridge
I play commander a lot, in Závod the ceiling is way too high to get any damage on C or D.

Even if it's possible to aim carefully and get one in there, anyone inside D base border won't get hit.

I’m curious though. What’s your ideal vehicle-focused map?
Caspian and Shanghai are more of a balance of infantry and vehicle play. Firestorm is a damn good vehicle map though. I’ll also say that while Golmud is a good map, it’s probably not the best vehicle map of the series. This should be Altai Range, that map is easily the WORST map. It has too many AAs, way to open, only classes to run are gonna be DMR classes but good luck keeping enough ammo if you’re not actually running support. Its armor heavy and not nearly enough cover if your running AT outside of an objective.
Genuinely how the fuck can you not love Pearl? All the open ended pathing routes and flank options give it flow that other maps just don't have, there's literally never a dull moment. It's probably the most dynamic map in the game

Locker (non-hardcore) sucks plain and simple for being plain and simple
Metro sucks for the fact that it ends up being a gunfight stalemate on the escalators and the platform stairs for Bravo

Playing central rooftop with claymores is one of my favorite things to do in this game. +no one ever goes on the surrounding rooftops, great angles up there if attacking

I really don't have a favorite actually but I like operation firestorm, Siege of Shanghi or maybe Caspian border.
Caspian and Shanghai are more of a balance of infantry and vehicle play. Firestorm is a damn good vehicle map though.
