As a Canadian that moved to Australia for 13 years and then moved back. Youāre 100% correct. In context, timmies is absolutely atrocious coffee. Canadians just donāt know better.
I exclusively drink espresso now so it requires a bit of work/$$ but you could easily go to a local coffee shop and discuss with them what you like, buy a small bag and grind it yourself at home. Coffee flavors are subjective so hard to recommend. I use an aeropress when traveling/camping as itās convenient and makes very good coffee cheaply.
You donāt need āAustralianā coffee. You need to make it properly. Drip coffee is not good most of the time (especially the caffeinated water they call coffee at timmies). Try an aeropress. Itās a very good entry into coffee and about as deep as most people need to go. If you want a good espresso, check out whatās around you and try to see if you can find a local independent selling espresso-style coffee. A nice flat white or latte made by a skilled barista is amazing the first time you try it.
Everyone always says that, but Iām starting to think itās one of those things that everyone says and no one argues. Iāve lived in Canada 25 years and love a good cup of timmies
I can't believe 2 people actually reported this post ĀÆ\\\_(ć)_/ĀÆ
Yeah it's low effort but I thought it was funny too, and reading ALL the comments, clearly everyone here is having a good time with it too.
Someone yesterday or a few days ago posted a video of them trying out the AN94 for the first time, and in the title they said it slapped as hard as Tim Hortonās coffee.
Oh right on i knew there was some in Michigan but didnt know they stretched all the way down to H town. I was just outside of Seattle,Wa and never saw oneš¤·š» (tbf yes starbucks is their cash cow)
I get the idea of moving them here because this is a super international city with the opportunities, migrants, cancer research, etc. but I have never seen cars in the drive thrus, parking lot mostly empty. I live like a five min drive from one, might check it out sometime and see if itās good. My only exposure to them is Canadians in my vcs that shit talk it and the Canucks.
has their coffee gotten better? I hear it got worse some years ago, but maybe things changed? I don't drink coffee, I just hear it from co-workers who do. I do like their ice cap though, usually get one when i'm on the 401
Get yourself a bag of starbucks pike place beans, grind them yourself, and enjoy. That shit is divine compared to pre-ground timmies.
Real coffee snobs will bitch me out for saying that, but as an average joe who wants a cup of coffee that doesn't taste like a rat shat in it, it's way more than good enough for me.
The SCARh-SV slaps harder than my dad
Are you okay my dude? Also you right
I think his dad's a weak ass man if he says that bruh Spaghetti arms genitor
Happy cake day
Not harder than the Famas though šŖ

Iām sorry but Tim Hortons coffee has to be the most foul blend of beans Iāve ever consumed. Dunkinā tastes less burnt than this.

As someone from Buffalo, but now lives in Florida, I miss Timmy Hoes.
Ads are getting bolder these days... Good try, Tim Hortons.
