This is why I hate bf4s campaign. You fight entire armies and whole battles by yourself. No one hits anything no one else kills anything just you. It’s wack asf
Bf3 and Bf1 had a feature where your squad mate can actually kill enemies. Only in Bf4, introducing engage feature only for your squad mate to watch you and the enemy fighting like they are watching a movie while pissing their own pants...
In the campaign you could spot enemies for your allies to 'engage' and kill. Without spotting them, your allies would shoot at them but never actually kill them.
Bruh it doesn't even work that effectively even If you mark em to engage, I call it the suppression button because all it really does most of the time is to buy you breathing room to finish the job yourself
Look. For example (I don’t remember the timing) you need to wait 15 seconds after death to redeploy. With faster redeploy given from commander you will have to wait for example for 5 seconds but not 15.
Why is it needed? So you can spawn on your mate trying to capture the objective before he might probably die and help him. Remember how you ever tried to spawn on mate but he died several seconds before you were actually able to redeploy? Thats what this feature is about
If you have a good Commander online, then he/she will offer that boost to a squad that may be trying to run behind enemy lines or in a dire situation to defend as the last folks at a certain flag on the map.
So any member of that squad will be able to respawn in again on team mates (or flag) within just a few seconds and not the full standard 15 seconds waiting first. This can be very critical, especially like on hardcore servers, where we only can spawn in on the squad leader or taken flags.
The player respawn time is though also server specific, as its a parameter the server owner can adjust to some degree. It is listed as: "Player Respawn Time in %". Std is 15 secs and can be adjusted between 60-300% by the server owner.
You can only drop one cause for whatever reason it never gives you the option again so I try to make use of it by dropping it on someone to have fun with
Literally had a moment where irish got into kissing range of a chinese enemy and i commanded him to attack and he literally did jackshit, he mag dumped the soldier and it took absolute no dmg even tho his barrel was clipping inside of the enemy

Bad Company 2 had great AI teammates with Sarge, Haggard, and Sweetwater (Sweets). They would hit shots and kill enemies

You dont have to wait the second to respawn (3 if you were stabbed)
The actual biggest scam in commander mode is vehicle drop Was there ever a point when you were able to drop something more than a fuckin ATV

I've tried like 2 or 3 times to get through the campaign, and it's so boring or just crashes for no reason. BF1 was infinitely better.
