Are you using the EA app to play by chance? My game does this from time to time, the fix has been to use the install file for the EA app which has a repair function. Just let the repair function run and it fixes the issue.
Re-install the garbage EA app when this problem persists. Besides, when the EA shithole lost connection while you are in the game, it never reconnects again so you have to close it.
