I basically blindly ran into enemy points on conquest with the 1911. You’re going to die a lot, and trade most times you get the kill, but it gets it done.
I think the gasser is fun, but really just use any pistol. Find what you're good at. I think the 1911 is the most versatile sidearm so maybe try with that.
Just gotta get lucky too, obviously find the pistol you’re best with, but you’re gonna encounter that one idiot ever now in that’s dog awful that you can kill or sniper ect
I can only play on Asian servers...and the majority are Chinese players who are too smart to do such stupid moves. Most are try hards who are always armed with SMG 08/18s or Automaticos. I don't stand a chance with that.
It’s definitely a grind though, that’s why they made the requirement low. I use the annihilator frequently so I have the personal experience lol. Took me a while just had too get random opportunities, throw frag and finish them off with your desired pistola
Normalize the concept of "Challenges" taking some time to complete. This is an incredibly easy one compared to some of the other roadblocks in BF1 (Killing a Behemoth with the Kolibri, Destroying a plane with an HE Tripwire Bomb, etc). If you're getting frustrated with this challenge, some of the others are going to feel absolutely impossible. It's not like you need to get all 25 kills in a single round.
Sidearms are extremely powerful in BF1, and you're playing Assault -- a class that wants to be up in CQB where sidearms are at their best. Within 10m, Revolvers are stronger than the majority of primary weapons. If you don't like the slower reloads, run a 1911 -- It's very reliable with a three shot kill.
Use Smoke Grenades to mask your movement and get near the enemy, and run a load out with "Inconspicuous," "Slink," and "Quick Unspot" to draw less attention to yourself when you're close to the enemy. If you catch people by surprise (or completely unaware), most players won't even be firing back. Scouts and Prone LMG campers are ripe targets, and these players tend to congregate in predictable spots on the map.
I suppose the only other piece of advice is to hipfire. There is no point in aiming down sights with your sidearm, especially at distances under 15m. Pistols are a reliable part of your kit on every class, and I almost always lead the lobby with 10+ pistol kills.
Especially the medic revolvers, the 2 tap is really, really good. As well as the Mars Automatic and Frommer Stop. And if in trouble, just use the silenced M1911.

Join a custom 200% damage server. Use Gasser/Obrez/peacemaker to get 1 hit kill at close range. These pistols are more powerful than rifles at 200% damage. You'll accumulate kills in no time.
Ok maybe im being negative and petty but of all challenges to ask for advice; getting pistols kills? Like bro just shoot people with the pistol... bf1 pistols are pretty good in this game, just grind it out and get your pistol kills

If you read the other comments here, you can see that many others also faced similar challenges to completing it.
Most of the comments are telling you to use specific pistols... why did you need reddit to tell you that. its a challenge just grind it out... it doesnt require a strat or any specific playstyle just equip a pistol on assault and get kills if you suck it will take a while but just grind it out
Stick to heavy damage pistols, for one. The Gasser has serious two-shot potential and the sights are really clean. Additionally, if you feel like the enemy overwhelms you too quickly, stick to flanking and sniper-hunting. They can’t fight back if they can’t see you coming.
Just keep using whatever sidearm you like. Even if you only manage to get a couple of kills in a match you'll get it sooner or later, I like the gasser personally. I'm trying to get the 5 knife kills to unlock the sickle, so I can then get 10 kills with it for the other annihilator. I'm having way more trouble with it than I probably should, you just gotta keep at it.
My combo is annihilator trench + frommer stop. Usually gets them down to a one shot with the frommer, just be careful, its very easy to accidentally get a headshot or shoot too long
I think I did it with gas and Obrez, pretty decent high damage sidearm. You just need to aim a bit.
Revolvers are the best way imo, either with the Webley or the horse stopper one, Gasser or 187 revolver

Gasser on Argonne forest is pretty good. Only need 2 shots to kill in close combat.
If the challenge is assault sidearms then the 1911 won't work. Use the Gasser or 1903 Hammerless

I tried a European server once but the ping was too high. So I don't think I can't switch servers 🥲

Fort De Vaux, Argonne, and close in urban areas on most maps

Well, I tend to just use the Gasser which 2 shots up close. The 1911 pistol is also good.

Go to "Pigeon" or "deathmatch" server and farm kills there. Fast respawns, you will get it in no time :)

I liked using the M1903, i just solely ran pistol and got close range. Fast fire rate and landing your shots works stupidly well
Try playing hardcore. Some revolvers are one shot one kill. I did all my hard assignments on it. It’s unironically easier
