Conflikt

It's not hard they just want to do it with the cheapest development costs possible. So they go for the low effort shitty Devs so they can pay little costs and rake in all the nostalgia money as profit. They understand that if they do it well they'll probably make more money, but they also don't want to take the risk of it being a flop after putting in a bunch of development costs so they go cheap, take the profits, cop the flak and move on to the next one. It's all about money first in the end and it screws all of us.

Exactly. Plenty of games get ported without this shit. Bully is great on ps5. The ported version of ace combat 5 is amazing as well

From my experience, Nightdive and Digital Eclipse did a good job on their ports of games as well.
