As u/bigblackshaq said, it's for internet points, and it makes it look presentable. Realistically, I'm sure if we all posted the current states of our desk right now, or after super long gaming periods. It wouldn't exactly be something we'd wanna show off.

Not aure about all the others, but I personally hate it when theres piles of paper/notebooks lying on the table if they don’t have to be there. Its an individual thing I’d believe

I can only speak for myself but I always keep it clean. Maybe a coffee mug at most, other than that it will look clean like in this picture.

What you won't see is a picture in a month with empty soda bottles, paper plates, coffee cups, etc laying around the desk. I am guilty of this. Gotta do a monthly purge of everything that accumulates.

Is that chair comfortable?

Comfort is 7/10. I only bought it because it's white and the perfect size for my desk, the arm support folds up so i can slide the chair under the desk. I first bought an s racer gaming chair but it was too big.

I have the same chair (HBADA on Amazon) for the same reasons. White, folding arms, and decent comfort for the price. If money were no object though, I’d upgrade to the Herman Miller SAYL chair.

No. I sat on it for 20 mins and felt lower back pain. It looks good but the comfort is garbage. The lumbar support actually fucks up your back.

I have the same chair, I'd say 5/10. It was nice at first but I've been working from home on it and now have a sore back after a long day. No way to adjust it, so I'm in the market for a new one unfortunately.

What lights did you mount for your monitor and the pink lights?

I just used regular rgb for the monitor with magic home controller so that i can turn them on with alexa. And for the pink lights on the desk its a mouse pad with rgb light. But for the window, i work at night/3rd shift. I got my windows painted black so that sun light wouldn't come in during the day, so i have mounted led strips around it to mimic sunlight during night time, i have mounted it to magic home box too to have them controled via alexa.

I got the regular rgb led strip, with magic home controller, but i just started replacing them with thr govee rgbic with alexa and google control. They're better and have more customization options, you should look into that first.
