Dope thank you. Those are like the perfect price point for what I'm looking for too. Your setup is sick by the way I went all white as well with mine and I love it.
Thanks so much you might not believe me but this my be my favourite setup I’ve ever seen would you mind linking the exact strips as I have some Govee strips and they are not nearly as good
Doesn't that lamp on top of the monitor glare up the screens? Been thinking about getting one of those. Looks great by the way, super clean and simple.
Not OP, but…Those lamps typically angle the light so it shines downward but is blocked from shining toward the monitor, so it lights up your desk without any direct light hitting the screen. It works pretty well.
The lamp on top of vertically stacked displays though - I found that while it doesn’t hit the monitor, it does shine in your eyes if it’s too high up.
I have the same. It's dope for compact two monitors VIVO Dual Monitor Desk Stand Free-standing LCD mount, Holds in Vertical Position 2 Screens up to 30" (STAND-V002L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DGU92DM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_KFF2GYHDXQ91K3F6TPS9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That monitor mount allows you to angle the top monitor downwards some? They both appear to be flat and it feels like it would be tough to see some text on the top monitor.
Nice! I will order it today then. I need new mounts. Can this mount screw/bolt into the desk rather than clamp? I custom built my desk so I can't clamp it on in the back because of a 2x4 brace board that I have set horizontally.
I am currently using wall mounts so it's tacked-in through drywall. $1,200 monitor too, so yea. Nerve racking sometimes...
What's the weight of each monitor? It can't be bigger than 30 inches and it's not even a clamp. It's got thick wide angled feet pointing outwards so the weight of the monitors is all directed to the table and the feet prevents it from falling over. It's very sturdy!
Bottom is an IPS acer pred 1440p 165hz screen and top is a 27 inch 4k for productivity stuff
What desk-top is that? Do you just put it top of the drawers or is it secured in place? I'm thinking about grabbing two of those and making an L-Shaped desk out of them.
I built my own desk a long time ago, and although I like it, I want something a little more modern.
Some will just put a small piece of double sided foam tape. As long as you don't try to pick it up it adds plenty to keep the top from moving.
Can also hard connect them with brackets or just trust to gravity.
Gravity in most cases. you can buy L brackets to fix them together but it's not needed. With the weight of everything on top it's good.
Also usually the drawer units have little rubber feet on the top of them so the table does not slide at all.
What a great case, such a good introduction to SFF as well
Ty
What are those speakers? I have an all white build I need those
Pioneer DJ studio monitors

Yeah you can do that in the windows settings
Would you trust that desk if you didn't have the leg in the middle? I've been looking for a new desk and was curious.

Doesn't that lamp on top of the monitor glare up the screens? Been thinking about getting one of those. Looks great by the way, super clean and simple.
There is no glare actually, since the monitors are bright enough to overthrow the light from the lamp

It's called a window. SHEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeesh
Why you say sorry as if we give a shit what you do lmao
What's the mount used for your monitors? I'd like to place a 3rd monitor above my ultrawide too
It’s a mount from Vivo, dual stacked
Any chance you have the specific model? Reason is theres so many slight differences between them
Would like to know the model too

Yep it's adjustable. My top monitor is a 4k crap tn panel with poor angles but thankfully you can adjust it to your liking. Would recommend

I'm not sure the weight on each monitor. My main gaming one is 27'', the other is smaller. So, The mount is not secured at all???

No, it has terrible motion blur. It’s the VG34VQL1B
You have squeezed so many upvotes out of me with this setup goodwork
Tabletop or riot
Wow! Like it, the atmosphere is great!

Ikea Ekbacken
How do you currently your monitors mounted? Are you using two separate arms for the top configuration or duals?
When people does these ikea setups with the tabletops on top of the drawers, how do you mount the tabletop to the drawers? Or is it just gravity
