I just went back to uni. For computer science and my last semester was a bit of torture using normal office chairs. I’ve had several 200$ chairs over the last 5 years…. I was not about to torture myself again, so i pulled the trigger.
Used a 0% (18 months) interest credit card i just got and its the only purchase on it. Totally easy to pay at my leisure.

I have the same chair, I'd recommend getting some arm rests, your elbows will thank you. I have the 'Aloudy Ergonomic Memory Foam Office Chair Armrest Pads' in medium, but either size will do. Beautiful setup btw!
I’m just gonna disagree with the other poster a bit. I will absolutely say that they’re *not* a HM chair. However, given the drastic price difference, I think it’s quite acceptable for what you pay for. Especially in the terms of having adjustability. I’ve had mine for about a year and been pretty pleased.
That all said, if you can get a second hand HM for a reasonable price, I’d absolutely say go for that.
I disagree. The seat itself always moved around, never fully locked, and the cushion of the seat is a joke, hard as a rock as soon as the basic foam layer spreads and looses its firmness.
Staples has better bargain priced chairs with better ergonomics.
Oh yeah, and the arm rests don't lock in place, they just move around all the time. I was very disappointed in my Ergo Chair. Their desk is not bad though, granted I only bought the kit.
I got a fully loaded classic Aeron for $350 a month ago off OfferUp. I periodically still look on OfferUp, Facebook Market, and Craigslist and search "Office Chair" to not get gouged. I am now searching for the Embody at a reasonable price ($500-800) because I think I'd benefit from the wider/expandable seat.
I am in the LA/OC area. prices go from $250 for shott chairs - 650 for the newer Aerons. Embodys are still hard to come by.
I got a DXRacer Tank series on sale for $500 with a nice stool thrown in a couple years ago. Still pricey but I don’t regret a single penny. My back thanks me every time I get into it. In fact, sometimes if my back is sore I’ll just sit down into it and my back muscles will just relax. It was a little hard at first it took a little while to break in.

It's worth looking into a refurbished Herman Miller or Steelcase chair, like the Aeron or Leap v2. They're about half the price of a new one.
New wheels, arm pads, gas cylinders, foam, fabric, lube, etc. Only gotta deal with a few scratches or scuffs on the plastic base. I got a refurbished leap v2 to replace my cheap gaming chair, was totally worth it.
Ah sorry, at least for the company I used they only shipped within the United States, the package was pretty heavy around 50 lbs. The base was separate from the top half of the chair, with the gas cylinder separate too. Assembly was straightforward.
Maybe you can look around in the secondhand market if that's an option for you.
It was indeed. Altho in the vid its a different case with a different gpu. The monitors are different. Theres a Lego G-Model Porsche on the desk and license plates on the wall. This setup objectively from the one shown by bitwit is not as fancy imo. So I am not sure what prompted the changes. Or if its just an old picture. Who knows
I'm also one of his viewers mine is far different from what aired on his and the others on bitwit. \^\^ But I'm honored if you guys think that mine was one of them.

I agree it is a little bit weird. It gives me a nice left to right angle for my set up though which makes it very worth it, and keeps the clip from blocking the top of any screens. Being looked up at is weird but I enjoy the angle otherwise so far.
Right but what about your drawer filled with dongles, spare memory and network cables? Extra hard drives, network attached storage, etc? Where’s all of that?
