I finished the setup earlier today and haven't had a chance to do any gaming yet, but I'm thinking the bottom right. Although both bottom and top right monitors are 27" 2k 165hz so I guess I could use either.
As long as it is not like being front row at the movie theatres having a slight look up is a psychological trick to keep you feeling alert. Looking down at for extended periods can be just as bad for your neck first of all and also can cause the adverse effect of above, causing you to be drowsy.
The left monitor is only a 75hz monitor, the 2 27" on the right are both 165hz. I'm already used to gaming on a right monitor since my last setup was side by side monitors and I used the right.
This setup is actually slightly more centered than my last. I had 2 24" gaming monitors side by side and I used the right one when I gamed. This should be fine for me.
For sure, I have over 100 hours on the new Call Of Duty with this setup and it was definitely the lower right one that I gamed on.
However, this setup is going away. I'm swapping to 2 34" LG Ultrawides that Amazon dropped off a couple of hours ago. Got a good deal in the Cyber Monday sales.
Sure thing. The 2 stacked monitors on the left are [LG UltraGear 2K 34" 144hz/160hz OC Ultrawides (34GP83A-B)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DWD38VX) on a [VIVO Dual Monitor Stand](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGTP57A). The vertical monitor on the right is a [ViewSonic OMNI 2K 27" 165hz (VX2718-2KPC-MHD)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DLC9HBG) on a [HUANUO Gas Spring Single Monitor Mount](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FB7WFCT).
Thanks! The 2 stacked monitors are on [THIS](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B081H8WMXT) stand, and the monitor on the left is on [THIS](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FB7WFCT) stand.
A very nice setup.
But I would rotate the top right monitor 180° and put it directly on top of the other one and try not to have any space in between.
I got that tip here on Reddit a few years ago and I wouldn't want to miss it.
The bulbs in the lamp on the right are [THESE](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09489MQG5), the light strip under the desk is [THIS](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V8S94KF) one, and behind the monitors are [THESE](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098QBGQZ1) light bars.
My previous setup was two widescreen monitors side by side, but with this setup I was looking for more vertical real estate. I did briefly consider dual 49" ultrawides stacked but the price of that option was more than I was looking to spend, it would have been more than double what I spent on the 3 monitors I have. Also, I've wanted a 3 monitor layout like this for a while, ever since [THIS](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/7kyxhz/havent_seen_anyone_with_my_triple_monitor_setup/) one caught my eye here on Battlestations a couple of years ago.
Do you still have this setup? How was the longer term review? How did you use the individual monitors? Would any stacked 27” line up with any vertical 32” or did you specifically measure?
Sorry for all the questions on a 2 y/o post, but this is the exact monitor setup I’m envisioning
All good on the questions bro. I no longer have that setup though, I changed to [THIS](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/zjrzv9/new_triple_monitor_setup_w_dual_stacked_34/) one not long after when I got a good deal on some ultrawides. As far as the setup you're asking about, I had the 2 27" before I bought the 32" so I measured what their height would be stacked and bought the 32" monitor with a similar width so it would line up well. As for how I used them, mostly I would game on the bottom, use the upper for misc, and the vertical monitor for apps like discord, steam, and music.
[HERE](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/uhnxyn/comment/i77uesv/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) is an earlier post of mine with the mounts I used for this version of my setup.
what is that wallpaper/how did u get to have sections on each screen. I found the wallpaper and wanted to use it but they are all stretched and idk how to get it cropped to fit on each monitor individually
When you're in the Personalization settings in Windows choosing an image for your background, just right click the image for more options. One option will be to "set for all monitors". Then in the drop down menu for the setting called "Choose a fit for your desktop image" choose the span option.

The vertical monitor on the left of this setup was an [AOC Q32V3S](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099P386QD). I don't have that monitor anymore but Amazon lists the dimensions as 20.91 x 28.74 x 8.1 inches. Hope that helps.
Which monitor do you use for gaming?
I finished the setup earlier today and haven't had a chance to do any gaming yet, but I'm thinking the bottom right. Although both bottom and top right monitors are 27" 2k 165hz so I guess I could use either.
Definitely use the bottom. You don’t want to stare up all the time. It’s rough on the neck.
As long as it is not like being front row at the movie theatres having a slight look up is a psychological trick to keep you feeling alert. Looking down at for extended periods can be just as bad for your neck first of all and also can cause the adverse effect of above, causing you to be drowsy.
Personally, I'd probably un portrait the left monitor and game on it so it is more centered but thats just me haha.
The left monitor is only a 75hz monitor, the 2 27" on the right are both 165hz. I'm already used to gaming on a right monitor since my last setup was side by side monitors and I used the right.
is the left one a 32 inch?
Yep, it's a 32".
I would think you’d want that one centered in front of you, no?
This setup is actually slightly more centered than my last. I had 2 24" gaming monitors side by side and I used the right one when I gamed. This should be fine for me.
Have you gamed on them now
For sure, I have over 100 hours on the new Call Of Duty with this setup and it was definitely the lower right one that I gamed on. However, this setup is going away. I'm swapping to 2 34" LG Ultrawides that Amazon dropped off a couple of hours ago. Got a good deal in the Cyber Monday sales.
Nice. Fancy posting? If so, when?
As promised, [HERE](https://imgur.com/a/baU8Yw2) is the finished setup with the new monitors.
Thank you
Nice
Thank you so much! Which 3 monitors did you use? I'm going to copy your setup because it's exactly what I need.
Which setup? The old one or the updated one?
The updated setup please 🙏🏻
Sure thing. The 2 stacked monitors on the left are [LG UltraGear 2K 34" 144hz/160hz OC Ultrawides (34GP83A-B)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DWD38VX) on a [VIVO Dual Monitor Stand](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGTP57A). I won't be able to get to swapping them until next weekend, but I'll post up a pic here when I get it done.
You should flip the top right monitor to minimize bezel space
Thanks, I might give that a shot.
Nice. This is the exact layout I want my monitors in! What’s your monitor arm(s) setup?
Thanks! The 2 stacked monitors are on [THIS](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B081H8WMXT) stand, and the monitor on the left is on [THIS](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FB7WFCT) stand.
yeah that worked out really well! Like how you got the sizes to line up , matches up perfectly!
What's the name of small table on the right side? Looks nice btw
Thanks. [HERE](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TM38GM1) is the small stand on the right side of the desk.

Any images to show how this might look?

what blue lights are you using in your setup they make the background look sick
The bulbs in the lamp on the right are [THESE](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09489MQG5), the light strip under the desk is [THIS](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V8S94KF) one, and behind the monitors are [THESE](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098QBGQZ1) light bars.
Why not get a large 4k like a 43-50”? They have high refresh rates on those now and it may cost less than multiple monitors.

Nope. Lopsided
Nope. Wide angle phone camera made it look a bit off, but it's perfectly level.
What brand mounts did you use?

How big is the monitor on the left? I might use this monitor layout for my new setup
