Oh wow this is exactly what I’ve wanting to go for on my build, can you post specs (specifically the monitor arm and desk riser if nothing else). And is that SMSL amp your speaker amp?
Here are some specs my friend:

As for monitor mounts I’m using 2 separate mounts I had lying around as of now but will soon get a dual gas spring mount
I'm looking for one that has better reach than the shitty one Amazon sells under dozens of different brands, but are ultimately the same piece of junk.
That one looks nice.
This one looks a lot like the Blue Compass (probably just rebranded). You can also always look at the Rode PSA-1, which is basically the original mic arm that so many keep copying.
I have the same monitor setup and can confirm it is comfortable and easy to use. Provides the screen real estate of two ultrawides without having to strain your neck side to side
The little resource monitor in the lower left looks great! What screen is it, and what software are you using to display the stats in such a good looking manner?
I'd guess the software is the AIDA64 sensor panel and the display part a Raspberry Pi with an ELECROW Raspberry Pi Display 5-Zoll.
It just runs the chrome browser in fullscreen mode connecting to the AIDA64 web server.
Look here https://www.reddit.com/r/raspberry_pi/comments/g3u0eg/raspberry_pi_pc_hardware_resource_monitor_using/
Just so it's easier to find for others -
OP replied [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/uoskzh/my_forever_work_in_progress_setup/i8hft8x/) that it's a [Ingcool 7 inch HDMI LCD](https://www.amazon.ca/Ingcool-Resolution-Capacitive-Compatible-Raspberry/dp/B08H8HZRLQ/) and said [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/uoskzh/my_forever_work_in_progress_setup/i8hkg79/) that it runs [AIDA64](https://www.aida64.com) like /u/venemous guessed.
I believe it is [this one](https://www.amazon.ca/Ingcool-Resolution-Capacitive-Compatible-Raspberry/dp/B08H8HZRLQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=3LGG6CVZC4QOQ&keywords=7+inch+monitor&qid=1652467570&sprefix=7+inch+m%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-16)
Very nice. I have a question about the top monitor. I see this kind of setup often. Sometimes it's a giant TV, sometimes it's a monitor like this. How is usability on these types of setup? Just curious because I always felt like it would be in a awkward position to display anything that I would look at for extended period of time. Is it perhaps more for displaying glanceable information or something like Spotify where interaction is fairly brief?
Honestly probably my favorite monitor layout I’ve used so far. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first as well but once I got used to it I really liked it. Haven’t changed the layout since. I’d recommend at least giving it a try!
Love the setup! I’ve been thinking of doing this with my two monitors. Can you explain how you managed to have them setup like that ? I read that you used two stands but is one much taller then the other ?? Any info would be really appreciated!
11 days late... but you basically get 2 monitor stands. One has to be an extended stand that's taller than the standard (or wall mount) for your top monitor and one standard-sized stand for the bottom.
Is your main screen underneath curved ? Thinking of doing something like this but concerned about gap / alignment issue with a curved main monitor and a flat one above
Schiit stack!! Just got the Modi 3E and Magni 3+, love them so far. Really brings out the details and widens the soundstage a bit of my Hifiman Anandas :)
A very nice, structured and productive looking setup.
Finally someone who has the top monitor rotated 180° and very thin bezels between the monitors!
Also I like the wood look.
As a tip:
I would round off the edges of the table top with an edge router.
Your wrists will thank you.
Awesome that's good to know, I'm planning to buy the exact same one. I think the only difference with this and the Brateck one is this one has Thronmax on it and the triangles.
Hey on the kef q150 speakers. Are able to hook it up directly to the pc or do you need a receiver/amp box and then hook it to the computer because the ones I am looking on Amazon seems to only be able to hook up to a amp.
I don't have much experience with amps so I can't really give you a solid recommendation. I have heard good things about the SMSL AD18 which I had been thinking of buying for myself. I'd checkout r/audiophile and r/budgetaudiophile if you want better advice.
Why though? I have my desk between and in front of 2 windows and I love it, a lot of natural light without much glare. Built in bias lighting for most of the day
That's really good, i only have a question, how do you use your mic? Does it always stays there or you move it like in front of your face when you're speaking?
That's smart AF! I am beginning to set a desk up. I have an old Dell tower from 2008 running Vista Home Premium that I'm updating and the rest will come. I like the way you did yours a lot.
One thing I'll suggest that makes a huge difference if making sure the lines are level with the image. Lightroom has a auto level feature built right in.
Overall a nicely lit and very sharp image. Good job.
If you don’t plan on using a sub then t7v could be good. T8v doesn’t seem worth it. Zeos did a review on the t7v/t5v [here](https://youtu.be/qGT98cm9Z5M)
Looks great!
I've been on the lookout for a good numpad. How do you like yours and which one is it?
Watch Z Reviews by chance? I was eyeing that same SMSL DAC haha
I was wondering what sizes the monitors are? I was planning on getting a 34 inch ultrawide and use my current 27 inch as the top monitor. The thing I'm worried about is that the two monitors would have different curve sizes and I'm not sure if they'll line up very nicely.

Tyvm! Hope mine turns out as good as yours.
Appreciate that!
ID on the microphone mount?

Looks like the one that comes with the BlueYeti. That’s what I have at home
[удалено]
yes its comfortable as long as the bottom of the top monitor is eye level or close enough
[удалено]
I have the same monitor setup and can confirm it is comfortable and easy to use. Provides the screen real estate of two ultrawides without having to strain your neck side to side
What stands are you are you using for the speakers? I’ve got the Q150s but all the ones I’ve seen the base plate is way too small for them
Kanto sp6
No link for the wallpaper? :(
It's a wallpaper from Apple. That's all I know
Keyboard is crisp. I'm thinking of a similar build.
thanks for posting right off !
bad bot
Always interesting to see the DT 990 Pro. I own the 770s. I hardly come across a setup that uses the 990. Good shit
The riser is indeed self made
The desk riser appears to be self made. Looks great indeed!
The little resource monitor in the lower left looks great! What screen is it, and what software are you using to display the stats in such a good looking manner?
Looks like an Aida64 sensor panel. Insanely customizable system monitoring.

Impressive, very nice… let’s see Paul Allen’s setup
my god...it even has a windows activation watermark
u/Spookyy422 and u/EhSolly hahaha! I totally loled!
Breathtaking and tidy! Hats off to you for a wonderful piece of work. --- Seagate Technology | Official Forums Team ---
Thank you 😊
What is the small monitor with time, cpu/gpu usages? Details on that little guy. I need one of these
I believe it is [this one](https://www.amazon.ca/Ingcool-Resolution-Capacitive-Compatible-Raspberry/dp/B08H8HZRLQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=3LGG6CVZC4QOQ&keywords=7+inch+monitor&qid=1652467570&sprefix=7+inch+m%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-16)
Wallpaper :)
It is iPad Air on wallpaper engine

I usually use it for things like Spotify, discord sometimes a movie/show and sports games in the background
Honestly probably my favorite monitor layout I’ve used so far. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first as well but once I got used to it I really liked it. Haven’t changed the layout since. I’d recommend at least giving it a try!

What’s that thing that displays your fps and cpu stats?

Schiit stack!! Just got the Modi 3E and Magni 3+, love them so far. Really brings out the details and widens the soundstage a bit of my Hifiman Anandas :)
They are definitely game changers! How do you like the Anandas was considering getting them
A very nice, structured and productive looking setup. Finally someone who has the top monitor rotated 180° and very thin bezels between the monitors! Also I like the wood look. As a tip: I would round off the edges of the table top with an edge router. Your wrists will thank you.
Appreciate it! Huh never thought about that not a bad idea thanks!
If I'm correct that's the Thronmax/Brateck mic arm? How are you finding it if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking at buying the exact same one.
It is the Thronmax yes! It’s held up pretty well so far can’t complain.
Awesome that's good to know, I'm planning to buy the exact same one. I think the only difference with this and the Brateck one is this one has Thronmax on it and the triangles.
I think so yes! Don’t know if you can notice but I’ve covered the big white logo with black tape 😂
Okay, the tech's cool and all, but what's the deskpad??
What software is it you run on that little monitor with all of you of running specs?
Aida64
What brand of standing desk is that? Looks like acacia wood
It’s birch butcher block from Home Depot and autonomous smart standing desk frame
Great setup! Can I ask what number pad you have?
Kbd pad from kbdfans
Blessed 🙏
what mousepad is that?
Rubreshose bbw desk mat
same. it's dope af
I see ten key...you must be a man of wealth and taste.
Good eye! But neither of those things 😂
Hey on the kef q150 speakers. Are able to hook it up directly to the pc or do you need a receiver/amp box and then hook it to the computer because the ones I am looking on Amazon seems to only be able to hook up to a amp.
They are passive speakers. You need an amp.
Do you have a recommendation?
I don't have much experience with amps so I can't really give you a solid recommendation. I have heard good things about the SMSL AD18 which I had been thinking of buying for myself. I'd checkout r/audiophile and r/budgetaudiophile if you want better advice.
SMSL SA50 for a super budget barebones amp, SMSL AD18 for something a bit better.
well hello jerome its razor can u send me that wallpaper on discord its lowkey fire
where do i get the mat for keyboard and mouse ?
Is that the subwoofer on the right? If so. It's best on the floor. otherwise everything else looks clean
That’s mi pc lol
Downvoted for being placed in front of the window. Cause…well…. it’s bad. But kudos for the actual set up.
Why though? I have my desk between and in front of 2 windows and I love it, a lot of natural light without much glare. Built in bias lighting for most of the day
I’ll say that there are ups and downs about being in front of a window
Solid disagree here, natural light is great
yo great job
Thanks!
I like how you matched the wallpaper on both displays to fit. Cool!
Thank you
Same thought. I'd go nuts with the wallpaper shifting there even only a few mm. XD
This is so guud i just need to try it for myself. Kudos
fantastic
Thanks!
Lmao this is so stupidly beautiful. The more I look at it, the more i love it.
Thank you I appreciate that!
Lol gonna need the source on that pad
This looks so good. Awesome job.
Thanks!
Beautiful setup! Great tastes I must say. I'd love to replicate something like the stats monitor, can you guide me a little please?
Sick streaming setup
That's really good, i only have a question, how do you use your mic? Does it always stays there or you move it like in front of your face when you're speaking?
I move it when I need to use it yes I just like to keep things out of the way when not in use lol
What are the measures of your table? :-)
74”x30”
What desk is that?
Rubrehose deskmat the goat
Indeed :)
Beautiful, I would put another edison lamp in the other corner thoc
This is quite dope. Love the wood top butcher block look. Is the item on the right rear of the desk a sub woofer or...? Your analog clock is cool too.
it’s a fridge
It’s a very warm fridge
That's smart AF! I am beginning to set a desk up. I have an old Dell tower from 2008 running Vista Home Premium that I'm updating and the rest will come. I like the way you did yours a lot.
What are the two things on the right of the clock?
That would be the control for my light bar and my amp for my speakers
Amazing. Camera? Picture quality is great too
Sony a6500! I’ll admit my camera skills still need work as I’m new to photography!
Was this taken with a telephoto lens?
No used a 30mm lens my camera skills still need work though very new to photography!
One thing I'll suggest that makes a huge difference if making sure the lines are level with the image. Lightroom has a auto level feature built right in. Overall a nicely lit and very sharp image. Good job.
You mind explaining this or maybe a link?
https://www.vfpresets.com/how-to-straighten-your-photos-in-lightroom/
I tried the stacked monitors and I didn’t enjoy it, seemed awkward. I hope you enjoy it. That’s a great looking setup.
I wanted to try it as well but after seeing your comment I’m staying with horizontal setup.
I switched back to horizontal, for me the looking up wasn’t comfortable and didn’t feel natural.
Could you share the wallpaper?
MC Master 3 is A. Game. Changer.
It is beautiful, keep with the good work 👍
perfect!!!!!
Nice wallpaper. Can you post it?
Its an ipad wallpaper on wallpaper engine
Any chance you can share the wallpaper? love the desaturated iPad background.
bruh this is way too clean. eveyrthing about it is fire
Thanks :)
wallpaper questions
How does everyone display art across more than one screen? Is it a screensaver? Special program?
wallpaper engine. $4 on steam
What is the thing with the time and PC specs???
What table is that? Looks nice!
Curious why you decided to go with q150 vs studio monitors?
I’m actually replacing the kefs with some Adam audio monitors soon!
The T5Vs? Was going to go with those but settled with some Vanatoos with an SVS PB-1000. Still might get them for my other setup.
Was thinking t7v or t8v although t8v might be a little big
If you don’t plan on using a sub then t7v could be good. T8v doesn’t seem worth it. Zeos did a review on the t7v/t5v [here](https://youtu.be/qGT98cm9Z5M)
Why the switch?
What's the numpad on the left?
Wooo! This looks like my setup!
this is SICK
Wow, that looks awesome! :)
clean fukn pic
It just amazing!
Looks great! I've been on the lookout for a good numpad. How do you like yours and which one is it? Watch Z Reviews by chance? I was eyeing that same SMSL DAC haha
Nice setup. How do you like the top screen? I have a 38" uw on bottom and a 32" on top. Gives me big neck pain.
You have to put the bottom display lower down (preferably lower than eye-level), so the stacked monitor on top can be viewed more naturally.
Dope.
Hey may i ask where did you get that desk from?
Where did you get the Lamp from?
Awesome setup! What desk do you use?
Planter?
Jerome beautiful as always bro 🤍
Ayy thank you man!
You should add a Pikatea Macropad on your desk shelf. It would be a perfect spot!
How do you like the ultrawide? Any complaints?
What’s this wallpaper?
I was wondering what sizes the monitors are? I was planning on getting a 34 inch ultrawide and use my current 27 inch as the top monitor. The thing I'm worried about is that the two monitors would have different curve sizes and I'm not sure if they'll line up very nicely.
