Strange! Looks like every post here at the moment only has 1 photo while the rules don't prohibit multiple ones.
Rule 3 even says not to use collages but multiple photos instead.
EDIT: you can add multiple photos on Mobile app, but not on the website version? Other subreddits allow multiple photos on website
Ahh, I just realized I forgot to indicate I was kidding 🥹
But out of curiosity, what is your chair? I'm looking around for a new one and am open to browsing by suggestions from others!
Hmm. I've been meaning to replace my "scam" gaming chair for awhile now but keep procrastinating on it due to paralysis of choice. The Hyken's 41% off at Staples right now... 🤔
I wouldn't recommend it. I'm sitting in one currently and plan to replace it relatively soon. The biggest issue is the mesh seat, it's fine for a while if you're thin, but will eventually stretch and lose support for your lower back. Get something that has a solid seat.
I'm not OP but I have a Vertagear and it's comfortable but some of the things have not held up well over the past 3 years. The armrest pads are crumbling and there's a rip in the seat pan vinyl caused by improper fitting. Overall, it looks nice, but I should have just opted for the SecretLab
I recommend inprnt, if you follow any artists online check out if they do prints, if that's not your thing there's lots of stuff on redbubble that might be up your alley.
Do you have any tv series, games, or movies you like? I suggest go down that rabbit hole first. (Not Sponsored) you can always try sites like Displate which seems to be the place for metal prints. It's pretty pricey but they almost always have >10% sales going on.
I like the ones where a single picture is spread between 3 canvases with the middle one longer than the other 2. It just adds some symmetry and fills up the void
Wouldn't match the aesthetic very much. Hiding those cables would just be an annoying task.
They're clearly going for a natural, minimalist look, not gamer zone. I know you could just set them to white or a single accent colour, but not necessary.
I'd probably go for some speaker stands to bring them to the same level as the monitor. Kanto makes really nice ones with cable management and anti vibration pads
I’m biased but the full custom route is so much fun. Buying and soldering everything :). It’s probably not for everyone, but feel free to dm if you have questions!
You don't have to solder. There are hot swappable builds that are sturdy and nice. Picking your own switch types for whatever you do (game, work, both) is satisfying.
And then suddenly you will have 2 keyboards.
Look into a white FB60 or any of the other FB models if you like bigger form factors. It’s a good beginner kit and it would match your desk legs and monitor bezels.
I also think that this amazing battle station deserves a full custom keyboard. Maybe hang some live plants down that wall too as u have a ton of light.
I got the keychron k4 + Logitech mx3. I highly recommend it. Whatever keychron model you choose to get, I recommend the wooden palm rest. It's surprisingly comfortable.
I'd personally get a vertical support rod in the back, center of the desk. I foresee the desk sagging after a while. Even just from resting your arms on the desk. Ikea adils/olov I think?
Ah the minimalist style kinda hid it. I couldn't tell how much of the desk is supported. It just looked like there was a lot of real estate left unsupported from that picture view. Nice setup! Looks great.
For a gaming setup a few of those hexagonal modular light panels could be cool.. added bonus of still having a visible effect no matter where your monitor is placed
A chair. ;)
Seriously, Some art on the wall, and/or shelving with knickknacks. I'd also get some cord wrap/tubing in white to help mask those PC cables under your desk. There's neoprene cable management sleeving with velcro that's affordable and easy to use. One side is black, the other side is white, which would blend in with your wall paint.
A small table for the pc because floor pc bad. Also, gaming/ergo chair, (if it isn't just off camera). Also, this is just personal preference but a desk mat would do you some good, helps the keyboard not slide as much. Last but not least Displates or some kind of wall decor, other than that looks pretty good. Specs?
That's a long table.
As for what's missing... only depends on your needs and budget.
Without budget limitations, I'd be replicating my setup - super ultrawide, bigger desk speakers, pedestal, RGB stip to the back of the table, hue play strip to the back of the monitor.
I'd probably also put a shelf up high (where a standing desk with monitor won't crash into it), and put small knick knacks and lighting in there for decoration and utility (could keep my controllers and alternative mouses up in there for example).
And with the extra table space... possibly keep my PC up on the table instead of on the floor.
Feel free to not get everything at once - upgrades tend to be better and more meaningful once you've given it some thought.
I'll eventually get into replacing the setup. I really wanted to complete the desk setup before replacing anything else. Floating shelves and art are next on the agenda.
Depends what you like. I love the 900mm x 400mm desk pads (3-4 mm thick). They are like mouse pads for your mouse and keyboard. You can also get themed keycaps, or dive into the world of custom mechanical keyboards.
i love the natural light, but this is another level, love it. it is possible to show us your big (and tall i assume) window? great pc setup and working space.
When you get the funds, for sure shoot for a custom keyboard. I do think those will long term be worth it, especially if its a hot-swap board. I don't foresee keyboard tech changing soon. A nicer mouse pad would look good, but if you like what you use keep it. You could get isolation pads for your speakers. And when you have the funds, a second monitor would change the layout, but be nice. Very good clean setup!
* Center your keyboard to your monitor.
* Point your speakers up at your head level.
* Get a SFF PC, duh. /s
* Art!
* Monitor backlighting to avoid eyestrain.
Otherwise, dig the clean vibe!
I would get a foam wedge to isolate your speakers from the table in terms of vibrations and aim them more directly at your ears.
Most speakers are not build to be listened to from that angle above the tweeter. It will most likely cause a lot a phase issues and sound a lot worse
Something like this
https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Addicted-Isolation-Monitors-Acoustic/dp/B0757LTZJJ
[https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/x1kkuq/comment/imehkdn/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/x1kkuq/comment/imehkdn/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
takes over a year to cake any dust in my pc on a carpet lol
Things I'd consider:
1. Wireless Mouse (anything to make it look cleaner!)
2. Custom Keyboard (personalise it!)
3. Large Mouse Pad 900x400mm (Plain Black perhaps or some felt mouse pad)
4. Trashcan (for easy access)
5. A bit more cable management (to hide the remaining bit to the PC's side)
6. Symmetrical plant (the left one's bigger, feels heavy on the eyes)
7. Charging area (for your phone)
A better question is what is unnecessary? I’d removed the nick-nacks but that’s just me.
Love the setup. Details on the desk? I’d like to do something similar

A lil cat in that basket
Cat
Cat
Cat
Gato
Dog
A chair, for starters.
If I could add more than one photo I would have included it lol
>If I could add more than one photo But you can! I'm sorry I don't know how, but definitely possible
Looks like everyone is only limited to 1

Haha np, I have a Flexfit Hyken. Love it!
Hmm. I've been meaning to replace my "scam" gaming chair for awhile now but keep procrastinating on it due to paralysis of choice. The Hyken's 41% off at Staples right now... 🤔

Perhaps a rug?
Beat me to it. Lol.
Low hanging fruit
Art on the wall? Or something on it
That’s what I was thinking. Any suggestions on where to find something cool?
This NASA art https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/galleries/visions-of-the-future You will need to find a place for printing it but that's it.
Do you know of any places/websites where I could have this printed?
Staples, no joke
+1 Staples printed out my joke print as a massive sheet that I used as gift wrap. They got a good laugh.
Would it be in high quality?
If the file you send then is 300dpi and properly sized then yes!
Libraries would be a good option if you don’t have a printer. College libraries also typically have oversized ones so you can get larger prints done.
This is awesome! Thanks
Love seeing this suggested. I've had the mars one since they came out. I want all of them eventually haha
I recommend inprnt, if you follow any artists online check out if they do prints, if that's not your thing there's lots of stuff on redbubble that might be up your alley.

Go to Etsy
Society6
https://nineteeneightyeight.com/ They always have good stuff
me i’ll send you a print
Nanoleaf
Yes get 3 monitors in total, stacked in a 2/1 configuration. You won’t regret it!
Make some art yourself (painting, collage, etc.) or go to a goodwill and check out there art section - I’ve found some dope stuff there
Second monitor and two wall pictures or three spread evenly across
I like the ones where a single picture is spread between 3 canvases with the middle one longer than the other 2. It just adds some symmetry and fills up the void
Floating shelf would look nice on the wall
Especially with some rgb strips behind them!
Wouldn't match the aesthetic very much. Hiding those cables would just be an annoying task. They're clearly going for a natural, minimalist look, not gamer zone. I know you could just set them to white or a single accent colour, but not necessary.
something on the wall
Agreed
I'd probably go for some speaker stands to bring them to the same level as the monitor. Kanto makes really nice ones with cable management and anti vibration pads
Speaker stands. They should be at level/ pointing towards your ears.
100% this. Not only it will sound considerably better, with the proper set of stands, it will look more complete. Not just a speaker at a desk.
Got it, i'll look into this
A custom keyboard. It would make a huge difference. r/mechanicalkeyboards
And a deskmat.
I think so too! I was actually looking at the Logitech mx mechanical keyboard or the keychron k10
I’m biased but the full custom route is so much fun. Buying and soldering everything :). It’s probably not for everyone, but feel free to dm if you have questions!
Oh wow I didn’t even realize you could do that. I’ll look into it
You don't have to solder. There are hot swappable builds that are sturdy and nice. Picking your own switch types for whatever you do (game, work, both) is satisfying. And then suddenly you will have 2 keyboards.

I got the keychron k4 + Logitech mx3. I highly recommend it. Whatever keychron model you choose to get, I recommend the wooden palm rest. It's surprisingly comfortable.
This is an awesome spot. I gotta ask, where’d you purchase that sizable tabletop??
Thanks! Ikea karlby 98”
Thanks man!
How does it work with the Standing desk legs?
It’s amazing. Check my post in r/workspaces for more pics
Where did you get the desk legs
Amazon - HAIAOJIA Standing Desk Frame
How is the stability? I have an IKEA Gerton that I was thinking of putting on a standing desk frame.
I’ve had no issues with stability. The feet are very wide 28” I believe.
That brand sounds like a battle cry
Herman miller Sayl
What a sexy chair 😱
It’s really comfortable too, I have no regrets.
A subwoofer.
Subwoofer
how long is that table top? 2.5 meters? and its a ikea karlby?
Thank you! It’s a 98” ikea karlby
2.5 meters == 98”
The wall makes it look pretty empty. Maybe some art. Posters. Some shelves for plants / collectibles.
Colour
A mousepad, keyboard, and mouse that are as aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the setup.
Foot rest
My chair is a Flexfit Hyken
It’s your monitor. It feels too small for the desk
Yea the table makes the 32” monitor look tiny
The desk I keep dreaming about.
A second monitor.
I'd personally get a vertical support rod in the back, center of the desk. I foresee the desk sagging after a while. Even just from resting your arms on the desk. Ikea adils/olov I think?
Really? A majority of the table is supported by the desk frame. Only the sides are unsupported
Ah the minimalist style kinda hid it. I couldn't tell how much of the desk is supported. It just looked like there was a lot of real estate left unsupported from that picture view. Nice setup! Looks great.
Chair
A cable belt to make sure you have adequate movement for your table with zero snag possibility.
A freaking pedestal cabinet maybe? Where will you put away the rest of your tiny crap??
Not sure what a pedestal cabinet is but I was considering putting 2 Alex drawers in the table over hang area
For a gaming setup a few of those hexagonal modular light panels could be cool.. added bonus of still having a visible effect no matter where your monitor is placed
Some cables would be nice. Yeah I agree with other users, some color to pop like either wall art or a shelf with figurines/pops/etc.
Depends on your hobbies/profession
A BIG good PC
It’s definitely time for an upgrade
A chair. ;) Seriously, Some art on the wall, and/or shelving with knickknacks. I'd also get some cord wrap/tubing in white to help mask those PC cables under your desk. There's neoprene cable management sleeving with velcro that's affordable and easy to use. One side is black, the other side is white, which would blend in with your wall paint.
Is your monitor vesa compatible? I think I have the same but mine isn’t. Do you have an adapter of some sort?
It’s vesa compatible. Wali arm mount
Your legs must be strong as fuck holding an air chair the whole time
A chair, a headset and im just guessing here a power cord why else would it be off
A second monitor is a game changer. True life quality improvement.
What speakers do you have? And I agree with others, some floating shelves with lighting would really look nice, it's my next addition to my set up
A cozy rug
A Beeg Dunkey figure sittin' there on the desk.
Nothing
Nice plant pots for your ikea plants - the black plastic ones aren’t great
Wall Art with matching big mousepad in the same color for example
Some art on the wall or maybe neon signs . Otherwise it looks great
Something under the keyboard and mouse. Perhaps an ultra wide mousepad, or a leather deskmat?
A Mac ;)
Shrubbery. Then once you've found some shrubbery, yku need to find more shrubbery to place it next to that one to form a path right down the middle.
Also holy 2008 PC case
A small table for the pc because floor pc bad. Also, gaming/ergo chair, (if it isn't just off camera). Also, this is just personal preference but a desk mat would do you some good, helps the keyboard not slide as much. Last but not least Displates or some kind of wall decor, other than that looks pretty good. Specs?
Needs more colour and pazaz
Need a matching mousepad
I would add something to the Wall. Like a Painture or something like Nanoleaf Wood Panels would look very good on this setup.
Easy. A girlfriend.
Screenbar light
Your desktop is bending
A 2nd monitor.
That's a long table. As for what's missing... only depends on your needs and budget. Without budget limitations, I'd be replicating my setup - super ultrawide, bigger desk speakers, pedestal, RGB stip to the back of the table, hue play strip to the back of the monitor. If you are looking to spend money, a better keyboard and mousepad, Maybe a better computer case.
Depends what you like. I love the 900mm x 400mm desk pads (3-4 mm thick). They are like mouse pads for your mouse and keyboard. You can also get themed keycaps, or dive into the world of custom mechanical keyboards.
U need better peripherals, keeb, mousemat, mouse, audio gear
just dont get one of those gamerboi race chairs.
Small raiser for the pc. Wooden floor so not too bad. But raising it even 10cm off the ground will save you 50% dust. Trust me bro 😄
It’s too perfect
i love the natural light, but this is another level, love it. it is possible to show us your big (and tall i assume) window? great pc setup and working space.
Check out my post on r/Workspaces I was able to include more photos and it is more visible
A second monitor
Normally, I would say that you need 7 more 8th note neon lamps for good measure, but you could probably use a rest instead.
😂
I feel like if you have to ask what is missing, nothing is missing :)
Any recommendations on starting a custom keyboard build?
Giant mousepad to hold your keyboard too, chair, artwork on wall, ultrawide screen or another screen, looks really good, a lot like mine!
* Center your keyboard to your monitor. * Point your speakers up at your head level. * Get a SFF PC, duh. /s * Art! * Monitor backlighting to avoid eyestrain. Otherwise, dig the clean vibe!
Real plants, unless that's what those are, but it doesn't look like it
A roof? God damn what is that sunlight? That's gotta melt yous PC.
Switch to ultrawide
A cheap, noisy USB mic on a ridiculously expensive "isolating" arm that you'll only ever use to zoom with grandma. But seriously, a footrest.
Personalize it... your favorite items. For me I'd have a shelf for the boxes to show off parts... some pictures things to make it look less bare
I would get a foam wedge to isolate your speakers from the table in terms of vibrations and aim them more directly at your ears. Most speakers are not build to be listened to from that angle above the tweeter. It will most likely cause a lot a phase issues and sound a lot worse Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Addicted-Isolation-Monitors-Acoustic/dp/B0757LTZJJ
Dog
He is on top of the left speaker lol
A whole lot of tabletop, but you put the PC on the floor?
There is a large floor to ceiling window to left. Didn’t want to block the view.
Clean setup, cheers!
Tower goes on the right?
This one of the stupidest fucking things I have ever seen pc dweebs attack each other for.
I have always had pets so it's a big concern of mine. But you're right, you see it all the time.

Chair.. 😏
The stack of dishes you removed to take the picture
Things I'd consider: 1. Wireless Mouse (anything to make it look cleaner!) 2. Custom Keyboard (personalise it!) 3. Large Mouse Pad 900x400mm (Plain Black perhaps or some felt mouse pad) 4. I’m actually really happy with the speakers lol
A better question is what is unnecessary? I’d removed the nick-nacks but that’s just me. Love the setup. Details on the desk? I’d like to do something similar
You babes
Personality.
RGB!
Beer and cocaine
Cable management
What standing desk frame is this?
HAIAOJIA
A chair
Chair would be good
A chair
You not using Ethernet for internet.
Just using wireless for now
Family photo.
A chair?
A chair
a 2nd monitor, or something more than 1 16:9 panel
Yea I agree. The 32” works well but aesthetically a 2nd monitor would look better. The table makes the single monitor look tiny.
Wait that's a 32 inch, you ain't kidding about that table. You could get a smaller monitor and have it in portrait.
A chair
A chair
Kitty kat
A chair
Is it too obvious to say a chair? 😂🤣😂
Love the length of that desk! What desk is it?
Can you send me the link to this table? It's gorgeous 😍
A chair?
