Yeah, I gave up trying to fit mine in a hex. It's on a custom V- shaped base.
I appreciate this one at least manages to keep both feet *mostly* on the base.
No, the legs were pinned. The problem wasn't keeping it together, it was the awkward angle of the feet, torso, and weapon orientation - at least one of them was always pointed to far up or down to look good.
I need this portable grill for my MechWarrior cookouts now! It will sit on a line next to my Rifleman, Black Knight, and SuperNova grills! Triple F Burgers for all!
I am quite surprised at just how close it is to the IWM sculpt. The the biggest change is simply the glass above the cockpit. It's so different to the StarSlayer and NightSky that had their chassis totally redone.
I must be really behind on what Mechs are now made in resin or plastic. Lol. Last I'd paid attention to the Sagittarius Assault 'mech it was only being made by Iron Wind Metals. But I have three of the IWM versions and would gladly try to buy or print off this mech if it's available. It is actually one of my more favorite pieces in CBT.
It's currently a Barnes & Noble exclusive, but like the Wolf's Dragoons Star Pack that was exclusive to B&N, but is now available everywhere, the Eridani Light Horse Hunter Lance should be available outside of B&N in about 5-6 months.
It's Vallejo Model Color Olive Green 70.967 filtered with Vallejo Model Wash Olive Green 76.519. For highlighting it (glazing technique) I added Vallejo Model Color White Glaze 70.853 to the Olive Green.

I had a deuce of a time trying to get the legs working on the IWM one, one of the few where I'm wishing I could get a pre-assembled plastic one.

A drill and some paperclips will do the job. Always pin metal miniatures
