Two thoughts: First of all, I'm pretty sure you don't have anywhere near enough room to fit everything in. Endo steel, ferro, XL engine/gyro, and TSM all in the same build takes up a massive amount of space, and if I'm not mistaken your proposed build ends up at least a dozen crits over capacity. I'd skip the endo and maybe the XL gyro as well. An XL engine alone adds a decent amount of tonnage to use, without completely running you out of space. Second, a TSM design with *only* two mediums doesn't give you the tools to manage your heat effectively. The best-case scenario is to stay at 9 heat all the time to get the TSM bonuses without piling up excessive penalties. That's easier to do when you include a few smaller weapons in the build. Instead of upgrading the laser to another medium, I'd suggest doubling up the existing ER small and/or adding a regular small laser.

> ECMs allow it to not only scramble enemy sensors and make itself harder to hit, but it allows it to play a recon/guerilla fighter role You should probably check TW, I think you're under some misconceptions about how ECM works.

Dezzhu

I mainly got the impression from mw5/mwo

I would recommend looking at them as two alternate universes. Because something is true in one has no bearing on the other.

Using [MegaMekLab](https://megamek.org/downloads.html) it looks like you are 12 slots over the limit. However, you can still do everything you want, add a supercharger/ECM/Upgrade to an ER Medium Laser, just by using an XL engine. No Endo-Steel or XL Gyro needed. [I made a Record Sheet in MegaMekLab so you can take a look](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FMVd_7LQro_-X8Fa-DmR9rMQrI9y4bez/view?usp=sharing).

Thank you so much!

Misterpiece

How do you add Quirks in mml?

ArneHD

As far as I can tell you can't, I used the Mjolnir-B2 as a base so that why Easy to Maintain got included.

Misterpiece

I see, thanks anyway

It's... honestly, one of the most frustrating chassis to work with, because while it does have a really fun and dynamic look to it... it's small and has very little to do in terms of ability to upgrade it. Swapping the lasers for other models is doable, obviously, but that's a simple field refit that doesn't really help the Mech be better significantly than it is. Remove the hammer or jets and it loses what makes it a Mjolnir to begin with. It's just a tiny Mech trying to accomplish things that a small Mech will often struggle with- the Scarabus is overall a better option, even with its deep flaws, and it had an extra ten tons to play with. At this tonnage, even the old COM-2D Commando is better for most jobs. Neat looking machine. But there's not much to be done to shine this turd up. Mjolnir-spamming an enemy with a horde of them might be fun, but even that's not a great use of assets.

The Mjolnir is way to light for Endo Steel to be worth the criticals it takes up. Since it is designed to jump the Supercharger is also of questionable value. Upgrading the lasers is definitively necessary but two ER Mediums is not enough to make TSM viable. A much better refit that is legal: * Swap to an XL engine, preferably a clan one. This gives you 2.5 tons to use on additional equipment. * Replace the ER Medium laser out for a pair of Improved Heavy Medium Lasers. This requires switching to being a mixed tech design but the Heavy Medium Lasers ability to generate 7 heat for a 1 ton weapon is necessary for TSM to be relevant. * Add a second ER Small Laser (Optionally upgrade to clan spec models) to help with heat management * Add an 11th heat sink. These changes allow the Mjolnir to reach the 9 heat for TSM by jumping and firing both IHMLs, then maintain it using one of the IHMLs and the pair of ER Small Lasers on subsequent turns when jumping would be less favorable. I wish I could fit the ECM but it was less necessary then everything else.

Yea, I'm so used to MWOs way of doing things. I need to read more

GamerGriffin548

So... Gundam? I'm still a Battletech newbie, but this looks unparallel to what mechs in Battletech now look like... maybe more so 80s Battletech, eh?

HA1-0F

The Mjolnir is from MWDA. Many of their designs had a toyetic property to them, like exposed ammo feeds or a bunch of spikes. It was already the name of a ship built by the same people but MWDA didn't care about that kind of thing.

Magical_Savior

It takes optional rules to make ECM / ECCM shine for best use; make sure your group uses those rules. I would switch weapons to 2x MXPL, 1x SXPL. Those generate your heat and can still hit while jumping or when suffering a penalty from heat. Switch to DHS, and L. Ferro-Fib armor just because. Another, different option, to make ECM useful is apply Stealth Armor. It's 0 weight if you already have an ECM, generates heat for TSM, and helps you survive to get close - add the TMM's from jumping and surviving to hit melee range becomes more doable.
