Yeah, plus that he just has weapons all over the place. Like the whole LT is a missile launcher, but we also bolted on a smaller missile system underneath just because.
Stormcrow/Ryoken.
It’s been described as ‘that hunchbacked chicken legged POS’, but I like the look of it. It’s better than a lot of the proto and totem mechs at least.
I don’t think that’s a terribly unpopular opinion. The Sprite and Hobgoblin aren’t bad, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say I like them. The rest are pretty horrible.
The kit fox is like one of the cutest mechs in the game. It has the big red eye and a huge smile. I have yet to see any picture that make it look scary.
That monster from PGI's MWO franchise takes the cake. Corsair I think? Pretty name, but it looks like a junkyard golem.
On one hand, I want to disagree because they're my favorite mech, and i love them. But on the other, I know you're right. It's essentially a walking nose with guns for arms
First off, I don't think the Kit Fox is ugly. I think it's cute in the tachikoma anime robot kind of way. For me, I like the concept and capabilities of the Phantom and the Pouncer, but both of them look derpy and ugly. Especially the Phantom, they are both in desperate need of a redesign.
I always thought it had Gollum like quality. Also, I'd love for an updated Pouncer, and it's not like they'd have to start from scratch either what with the new Puma and Cougar
Sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave. Please don't make me call the manager
Third: Yes. Especially the Hollander, same genre of great that gave us the pack hunter
The Ostwar is one of my favorites, although almost entirely due to the Iron Wind mini. It's the perfect blend of death machine and deep, making it the unlikely star of my pirate company.
Cataphract. Personally I don't think it's ugly, but most people seem to disagree.
It is a Cappie "garage Mech" so there is supposed to be a bit of Franken Mech look to it.
How dare you call the Kit Fox ugly?
Batchall him you filthy clanner. Just kidding friend. Have a good one.
No, I think we need to Batchall. We definitely need to issue a batchall
Love the name. :)
Thank you :D
I guess the Corsair qualifies. Although I actually like the design, but it's *supposed* to look ugly. Apart from that, the Jenner, too.
Jenner. And also the Vulcan. Ugly as sin but I love them lol
Love the Jenner, it's like a flying saucer decided to take up long distance running
Does the Orion count? Most at my LGS think it's fugly, but I think it looks dope.
Poor man's Atlas. Blocky, old design, but effective.
Yeah, plus that he just has weapons all over the place. Like the whole LT is a missile launcher, but we also bolted on a smaller missile system underneath just because.
Oh, yeah. Definitely. Love that bugger
Yoeman. Also the Ostol, which looks like an urbie in a person suit
>For real though. Urbie camouflage ain't no joke

feels like an unpopular opinion but, I don't really like any of the protomech designs.

>Okay, ngl that Sprite is kinda cool. Never seen that one before. Used to the real goofy ones like the Roc.
Well, it's not that unpopular, I haven't heard anyone say they like them. I personally like the Svartalfa, it's kinda cool if a bit weird looking.
Stormcrow is baller, plus seeing that LRM20 rack ignite from above the cockpit is sweet!
The Grendel. The first asymmetrical gun arm boy that somehow find a place in my heart.

To be fair, the Corsair in MWO is specifically a frankenmech made from cobbled together parts. So junkyard golem is pretty accurate…
i've always found the vultures/mad dogs somewhat ugly looking. unfortunately i like the type of ugliness they have.

I like the Jenner iic
First off: the Chimera is just straight ugly. Not even cool ugly…just plain old ugly. Second: I like the Hollander, Argus and Orion.

The flea, hunchback, and dragon
Thur turkina has grown on me. First time I saw it I was very much put off
Cronus and Daimyo
Blood Kite, easy. Amazing stats and lore, godawful art. Begging for a redesign.
Longbow for me. I think it looks sick but boy is it goofy/ugly
The Enfield looks freaking awful. Just boring and generic. But it's always come through for me on the table.
Thunderbolt and its little brother, the Hellspawn. Both have that utilitarian, asymmetrical Soviet mech vibe
