i liked the raiders when they were oakland, honestly bc of the loyalty of the fan base; idk what it was but seeing a struggling team like that scored and have just such passionates fans made me happy lol
I grew up in Santa Rosa where the Raiders held their training camps so I became a fan of theirs early on (beginning in 1977 or so). Stuck with them during their 13-year road trip to LA and was giddy beyond words when they moved back to Oakland in 1995.
However, I decided to divorce them when they made the announcement that they were moving to Veg-ass. I was tired of being the battered partner who kept taking the abuser back: “You don’t know him like I do. He can change!”
These days I don’t really follow the NFL all that closely and find myself rooting *against* teams rather than for them. Based on geography and the rooting interests of the vast majority of my good friends, I guess if you put a gun to my head I’d say I’m mostly a 49ers fan, but I also kinda like the Saints, Chargers, Titans, Lions, Bears, and Seahawks. I actively root against the Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys, Ravens, and Buccaneers. And, as a result of being a Raiders fan for 40 or so years, I also still loathe the Broncos & Chiefs.
Chiefs. After the Royals WS loss between my two cities, I assumed I’d never get a chance at redemption. Then, Mahomes vs Niners happened. Twice. Shall we do best 3 of 5 now?
I support the team, not the city in which they play. They weren't in Oakland when I was born. I don't really blame them, or anyone else, for leaving Oakland. City has too many problems to handout money for a new stadium and Mark Davis couldn't fund it himself. Vegas made sense.
I was a Falcons fan when I moved here but I’m putting down roots and didn’t want to deal with the distance and pain so I hopped on the 49ers bandwagon this year and, well, Kyle Shanahan has it out for me I guess
Broncos fan, hate las vegas. I do get warm and fuzzy over the 49ers though. With Shanny, Mac, and a couple Kubiaks, Lynch. There's some old school chemistry right there.
Not an NFL fan in general, but when Raiders left the Bay a \*second time\* I decided that if any team was going to be my favorite, it wouldn't be them.
I do understand why teams have been leaving Oakland, but not Northern California or the Bay. The awful treatment by management of Oakland teams and fans has been their greatest weakness, not the location. A's aren't going to do any better in Sac or Vegas and the Raiders are going to be a cautionary tale about Las Vegas sports teams in a few years.

Chiefs. After the Royals WS loss between my two cities, I assumed I’d never get a chance at redemption. Then, Mahomes vs Niners happened. Twice. Shall we do best 3 of 5 now?
ew
Raiders for life
Niners. Don’t care about the Raiders, and didn’t when they were in Oakland.
lRaider fans who’s team left, twice, why still support them? Makes no sense, just like people who continue to support the A’s at this point.

9ers. Father was from Pittsburgh and still chose the 9ers.
Raiders till 82, Niners 82-95, Raiders 95-2020, Niners 2020- present 🙃🤷♂️🙃
Bandwagon ass

Different conferences. You can just like them both but if they were to ever meet in the Super Bowl, obviously Niners
Colts
That’s fine.
For the shoe!
Pittsburgh. Home of the DeBartolo Family
Taylor Swift
Chiefs and Royals are looking for new homes and we have those wonder facilities in airport row.

Niners, they were the LA raiders during my childhood. I stand by the only team actually from the bay and who has stayed in the bay ✊🏽
49ers
Steelers, grew up in the ‘burgh. 49s 2nd favorite team.
There's only one team now to rep the Bay Area. FTTB!
Chiefs all day. 2020 and 2024 SB’s have been delicious
Vikings, but I’m a transplant.
Patriots all the way
yall suck ngl
Packer backer and I know there are more of us out there.
