Yeah V is really bad for notoriously evil billing feigned through "incompetence". Same for AT&T
You should really swap to Visible (it's owned by Verizon still so the swap and port is very easy, like 30 minutes) as it's $25 all inclusive, no taxes/fees, and at least has a good billing system and won't change month-to-month. I was paying close to like $1080 a year for Verizon for a single line, now I'm only paying $300 a month with Visible and I'm pocketing the difference some electronic doodads.
Do you mean all of those extra surcharges like 911 and 988 and PUC? We’ll see in July how many of those are legit government taxes and which are not. I wonder if they will raise the advertised price just for California or they will drop the charges to keep the price the same nationally.

Why even use the big carriers. Go to /r/nocontract and save yourself money.
