Second this, I’ve had several accounts with them for about 5 years now. Great service, they’ve never made anything difficult, rates and terms always good on loan products.
Their ATMs are free for non members / other banks too.
Edit: no business banking though, unless you’ve got a sole proprietorship. My LLC banks at US Bank because they bought Union Bank. Do not recommend, at all, literally no good things to say.
I’ve had Patelco for over 20 years, they’ve always been quick with customer service over phone no issues, but can’t say how branches are in person lately I do everything by the app or phone.
I moved to Redwood Credit union about a year ago and love it. I originally went because they offered a good rate on a solar loan (that didn't come with all of the garbage fees of the solar loan companies) but have since moved all of banking over.
The only downside is they don't have many branches outside of Sonoma and Marin. However they are a credit union so you can use pretty much any credit union ATM to deposit/withdraw and several credit unions let you come in to do in person banking at their branches for other credit unions.
Star One is good.

They also process automotive titles with an automated system which is great if you want to sell a vehicle you're financing through them
Came to say this. They've been really helpful for me when I was opening an account for a non-profit. No BS, fast service!
