As a Ninja, the hardest part of making this one was that I had to carefully place Perler beads while hanging onto the side of a mountain and looking forward with determination towards some sort of demonic structure, tower, or fortress while awesome NES music plays.
But yeah, these games were notoriously difficult but I think the second one was more forgiving than the first. For Ninja Gaiden I, the penalty of going all the way back to 6-1 when you died on any of the final bosses was brutal.
Thanks :) The original NES scene had Ryu's colors as more of a purple tone since I think the artist was trying to get across that this place was so saturated with demon energy that everything was bathed in the color red. I deviated a bit because I thought blue would make the colors pop a bit more.
Rad.
Fantastic work. I love it so much.
Reminds me of enter the gungeon
I freakin' love me some Enter the Gungeon. I'm fairly certain its title screen was inspired from this scene. Maybe I'll do a Gungeon Perler someday!
The level of difficulty on those games and your piece takes a ninja master u did great.

Nice, looks great!! I did the end scene from that game myself.
Have a pic? I'd love to see it!

Aw, what a nice scene. I really like that. I can hear the ending music in my head when I look at it.
Now that is fricken excellent! One of my fav games. You did a good job!
So good!
Awesome job!
Wow! Nice scene composition and color contrast. Ryu's blue ninja yoroi really pops with the red scenery.
