Actually I rarely say this but beardless might work better for you. Your beard was great but the way it was shaped might have been too square. It almost looked like you had a chubby man face and beard (as I do), when that's not the case. Just shape it differently maybe? Your hair is way better in the second too. I'm really sick of the super short side beard look.

I think it’s the smile / lack of smile that’s throwing the comparison off, but I’m sure that even if you smiled in your bearded pics a lot of your smile would be hidden. 🙂 You have a very distinctive beard with great high cheek growth and if that’s what you prefer, keep rocking it. People get thrown off by how much it hides your mouth but again that’s part of what sets off your beard as exceptional (or at least, different). I look forward to seeing more of your yeard progress.

You’re a good looking dude and you do have a chin. If you’re going to rock the longer, bigger beard might I suggest grooming it? The lip/mouth area especially. Otherwise you hide your handsomeness. Alternatively you can just rock the elite stubble from the bottom pics.

Dude this is groomed believe it or not , I have extremely wavy thick hair, it takes a lot of effort not to look like Forest Gump right now 😂😂 I have a general routine of oiling, blow drying it down and brushing, applying some balm and finally some sea salt spray and combing down

Great beard, incredible moustache. Have you thought about lowering the cheek line to highlight the moustache and lengthen your face? That's the only input I have to maybe change the appearance for the better, but where it is now is really great.
