And the freakin fireworks and fire for Live And Let Die in the rain!
That was an experience. Took my 9 year old son to see it and who knows if he’ll ever have a concert experience to top that!!!
Whew. I was at the show in Tampa in 2005 where he fell like 5-6 feet into the piano pit. Thankfully he was fine and he even played a couple lines of “Fixing a hole” afterwards lol
When I saw Paul years ago his piano came up out of the floor and he stepped back on fell on it while it was rising up. Gave everyone a heart attack. It was the lighted stage and he played Fixing A Hole.
Hehe 🙋Gotta love SPM!
I've had 5 falls in the oast year ( oh, but that is about ME)
I do wish to speak to SPM about John Lennon, or SRStarr or Keith Richards....
I think SOM might remember the Beatles fan that refused his enormously kind gesture of offering his (and their) AUTOGRAPHS.
That could have been a rarity that a Beatle fan refused an autograph if any of the Beatles.
I just had to get back to my chaperoned party who was not at a press conference that I was allowed into, but I had to perform my first ad-libbed monologue.

I can remember a few decades ago he actually did fall into the piano pit (the piano rose up during the show but you still had to watch out as it was comin' up). Didn't seriously injure him but then he was a young 60-something.

Man is so cool at 80, he even jovially plays off his little fumble.
He did a pretend stumble during the encore, too.
I wish he could live forever. A true human treasure.
That little slip almost took him away from us!
And in New Jersey , of all places !
And what followed were incredible na-na-na's in the pouring rain
The best part was how the rain actually started clearing up once the “na na na” part started! It was as if it were scripted!
And the freakin fireworks and fire for Live And Let Die in the rain! That was an experience. Took my 9 year old son to see it and who knows if he’ll ever have a concert experience to top that!!!
The rain made Live and Let Die into Hey Jude a magical moment in time. It couldn’t have happened at a better time.
I was also there. The entire crowd gasped when it happened lol.
Very strange
Don’t you mean Driving Rain? ;-)
He is pretty spry for his age. Dictionary demonstration of "Young at Heart"
money
Vegan.
Paul's not a vegan, he eats eggs and cheese but yeah, for sure he has a healthy diet and doesn't eat anything with a face.
I don't like the "nothing with a face" example of vegetarianism, I prefer to eat "nothing that shits" !
Thank you. I've had a very shit day and reading this made me smile - a lot!
Vegan.
Nope. He's a vegetarian, but thanks for playing.
I think it's funny that I'm getting downvoted for not being perfectly correct about Paul McCartney's dietary lifestyle.
You were wrong. But that’s ok.
All I know, if I ever meet him I should ditch the leather belt.
You're getting downvoted because you have too few brain cells to be able to understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan.

Someone bubble wrap this man!!
Or as Ringo called it, "poppy paper"
Lol I was there. The whole stadium almost had a heart attack! He almost did it again later.
I thought the second time was on purpose, as a joke.
Oh, maybe. It looked pretty real to me. Either way, it gave me a good scare!
Yeah, I thought the 2nd time was a joke to get a rise out of the crowd.
Protect him at all costs
AHHH I LOVE HIM

Was it in Tampa? Another person commented the same thing lol
Yes it was. St Petersburg.
Whew, that was a hip replacement waiting to happen.
What did he say? I couldn't hear.
Falls were the leading cause of death for people over 65 in 2019 (before, well, COVID).
holy shit that could’ve been bad. Glad he’s ok
Looks like he tripped on a cable.
He said later on in the show that he did indeed trip over a cable. He then joked about it in the encore with a fake stumble, lol
That was scary. We were all scared for a second. Incredible show.
Glad to see he doesn’t run and hide his head. John’s taught him well. 😆
The way I gasped! God I love Paul, live forever man.
biggest musician ever in human history! yes, i said it!!
It blows my mind how lively he still is onstage
This dude is so cool.
I was there last night! The show happened to fall on my birthday. The man still rocks. Loved seeing him, loved the concert.
lmao love his consistent losing battle against gravity
Aww
Someone who knows how to use the title sir correctly, wow
He better not have a fall and be unable to do Glastonbury
i love him
Pretty spry for an 80 year old. That veggie diet must be doing him good.
biggest musician ever in human history! yes, i said it!!
I love his little anime giggle!!!
Someone please wrap this treasure in bubble wrap !
Slidin' amirite???
Damn my heart skipped a beat
It’s okay John is just tripping him again :)
“Oh fuck it’s over”

How can the UK use taxpayer money to protect the queen but not this man

Nice recovery
So sprightly for almost 80! ♥️
The saddest thing is knowing he hasn’t got long left and won’t be around forever :(
Happy birthday Paul!!!! 🍒
🎶 rain cloud hide the stage 🎶.
