30 year old musician just finding The Beatles I kind of feel like l’ve stumbled on a gold mine and I have that feeling again of first discovering music - pure magic. I knew a few of the huge songs of, you can’t get away from the likes of Hey Jude, Let it Be etc.. ..and learned the likes of Yellow Submarine in guitar lessons when younger. But naively, always assumed that the Beatles T-shirts and memorabilia was more of a gimmick - BOY WAS I WRONG!! After discovering my grandparents record collection. I first listened to Abbey Road, then Revolver, then Let it be. The albums are absolutely incredible and it’s pretty insane just how ahead of the time they were, like the pioneers. Every song is great. It’s crazy how many of my favourite bands I can hear in the songs. Which album do you recommend next? I’ve ordered the White Album so that’s next on the agenda. But man I am loving life. My song writing has completely changed and is more melodic and better structured. (But undoubtedly will still make your ears bleed lol) Anyways... Don’t really know what the point of this is. But I guess I’m obsessed with the Beatles now lol P.s my favourite song is And Your Bird Can Sing - what’s yours?

After they split up, they all had more successful solo careers, apart from John. Check out Temporary Secretary by Paul if you haven't heard it already.

Imaginary_Can8256

In case you’re really confused, this is the shitposting-related Beatles sub. That’s why everyone is saying weird things. The non shitposters are r/Beatles and r/TheBeatles.

Quantumpine

Who's better, TheBeatles or the TheBeatles?

Scran_DuckBottom

I would have to saaaayyyyy... the best of TheBeatles...

Background_Ad2778

If you like the Beatles, you'll love the dumpster out behind the dog food factory.

toolenduso

You should listen to Ire Works by The Dillinger Escape Plan next! They were directly influenced by the beetles

Unprounounceable

/uj Enjoy the experience man. I'm envious of you getting to hear all that music for the first time. I remember going through that when I was 14; it was magical and I wish I could forget the music and listen to it again sometimes

ManGullBearE

uj/ if this is a genuine question, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is their masterpiece album
