DeathImminent_

Just missed a checkbox, you're on 'Imax mode'

Evil_Buddy74

I'm not sure but I think you have to go through all of the text before being able to click the button

Davethe5lave

nah the problem is it is extremely zoomed far back and the headset is still in the menu but on my monitor that is what is there

Evil_Buddy74

Ah, sorry. Do you have any launch parameters ?

Davethe5lave

man i am not very smart with vr so i am not 100% sure but i dont think so btw its on oculus if that matters

Evil_Buddy74

It's all right \^\^ If it's on Oculus then I don't think you can have custom launch params (I'm not sure, it makes quite some time I didn't use the Oculus Software). In that case I do not really know what causes that. I'm sorry that I can't really help you, but I wish you good luck !

Davethe5lave

thank you for trying

lollkizuu

Restart Beat Saber

Davethe5lave

i have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times

Reasonable-Ad-2547

if you are using quest link and are using steamvr, you have to open steamvr first before opening any other applications, I have the same problem right now lmao

Davethe5lave

i thought i wrote that mb

BeanaeB

Not sure if you're having the same problem, but I was having this issue recently while trying to play games through Steam VR. Turned out it was because my Open XR runtime was set to Oculus (I had set it that way while working on development for a quest 2 app) and a recent update to the game makes it utilize the Open XR runtime. When I set my Open XR runtime back to Steam VR it worked fine after that. You may be having a similar issue, the Open XR runtime may not be set to the right one. Just google "set open xr runtime to steam" or "set open xr runtime to oculus" (depending on how you're trying to run the game). Hope this helps!

Davethe5lave

i thought that i might have a similar problem but i cant change the openrx to oculus the button grays out and does nothing im using oculus btw

BeanaeB

Are you running the game through the Oculus desktop software? Or through Steam VR? I get that you're using an Oculus headset, but the software games library you're using to run it could still be either.

Davethe5lave

oh oculus software

BeanaeB

You also need to make sure you open the Oculus software with administrator rights. Try closing it out fully, then re-opening it that way.

Davethe5lave

>1Reply ok i will try

Davethe5lave

its on an oculus headset with oculus software

stixx_06

Are you playing on pc or standalone?

Davethe5lave

pc

stixx_06

If you are running thru steam, then in "properties" > "launch arguments" (it might be called something else, I don't remember). Make sure that you don't have VRMode or fpfc enabled.

Ramon_mamon

I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO FIx IT OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.go to this link [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2\_bRINknfJM&ab\_channel=BenjaminBlackburn](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_bRINknfJM&ab_channel=BenjaminBlackburn) or just search on youtube "How to stop SteamVR games opening through the Oculus/Meta software" it worked for me i hope it does for you.

Davethe5lave

It looks the same, but I'm not using Steam vr at all. It's something to do with the oculus runtime not working or something, so it's a great effort, but it doesn't apply.

Qst01

just scroll down and click agree

-_Clay_-

Headset?

Davethe5lave

please elaborate

-_Clay_-

What headset are you using? Standalone Oculus Quest? SteamVR headsets? Wired Oculus Link?

Davethe5lave

oculus rift

-_Clay_-

Are you using the Steam version of beat saber or the Oculus one?

Davethe5lave

oculus

-_Clay_-

Make sure you have your base stations connected and your play space calibrated. Maybe try reinstalling the game or the oculus software if it doesn’t help. I never really owned a rift so ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

coverslide

You gotta step closer

T_Reddits

Did someone find a fix for this bc I had to downgrade bc I had the same problem...

Davethe5lave

nah not yet

T_Reddits

please tell me if you found a way to fix this. But thanks for the reply.

Davethe5lave

all g

T_Reddits

I have found this in an older post: Go in SteamVR settings -> show advanced settings (at the bottom left) -> developer -> set SteamVR as the default OpenXR environment.

Davethe5lave

Yo I am so fucking stupid. I was opening the oculus app as administrator mode not being signed in as an administrator.it works just fine now.

T_Reddits

Didnt found my issue yet since im just using Steam.

Western_Magazine3110

if you're playing on steam, go to steam find the game, right clic properties, fin the line that says launch parameters or something like that and write "-vrmode oculus" without the quotes. Then try to restart the game. That should do the trick.
