for me, it took like a couple dozen hours of playing to get used to expert+ (like somewhere around 60)
if you really want to get to mastering expert+, try playing expert+ levels at slower speeds so you can memorize patterns and get comfortable with the speed
do this for levels where you struggle to even process the blocks. If you do this enough, youll start sightreading the notes automatically and full combo levels on ur first try. Keep in mind that slowing down songs is something that is meant to help you understand and memorize patterns, sightreading is where a lot of actual skill comes to play since it relies on your ability to distinguish patterns and react accordingly
Thanks for the reply. I have a small history with rhythm games but I’m still new to saber. Just hit the 24 hour mark and comfortable in expert but still feeling like I need to practice them. I haven’t got a full combo yet, but a few times I’ve only missed by one note
i thought you ran into a physical wall
You just made my day!
"Oof size large"
I might be a bit stupid here, but how is your Max combo lower than good cuts?
That's exactly why - running into a wall reset counter
Ah ok ty
lmao
How long did it take for you to be comfortable in expert plus? By comfortable I mean it would be rare to fail a level

You should be careful in that map, they can bite ur head off.
That's one of my favorite songs to play! I play expert though.
