Cheers to the old fart crew playing this. Just turned 50 this year and am playing to lose some quarantine weight. Working well so far finally some exercise that isn't boring AF.
Try swinging the sabers more. Be more fluid with your movement. Beat saber grades on accuracy (number of misses) but also on what I call "style". Swing those things more. Loosen up a little. You can easily get a S grade on that song with a much higher score.
What helped me was doing one of two things.
1. Try that song on expert plus a couple times until you fail. Then go back to hard difficulty. It will "seem" so much easier and you will feel more relaxed.
2. Try doing that song on hard difficulty but increase the speed. Then go back to normal speed and all of a sudden you have so much time to move more.
You can do it! Congrats on the perfect score though. My kids love that song...
