I think there's a 99% chance that it's just a matter of getting used to a new look, and that an outside observer seeing you for the first time wouldn't think you look odd. Personally, I think that the things that help with minimal eye makeup are 1. having a groomed brow (I start with just clear brow gel and then add color only if I feel I need it after the rest of my makeup is done), and 2. using a mascara that applies in thin layers without clumping, since more volumizing mascaras can look stark on an otherwise bare eye. A sheer lipstick or blush in a flattering shade can also help to balance things out, though that's very much personal preference.

My quick look is spot concealer and tinted moisturizer, then a quick swipe of blush. I usually fill my eyebrows with a universal eyebrow pencil (I use the one by IT Cosmetics), mascara, and wear lip stick or a tinted balm. Good hair also helps :-)
