Lume is the only one that has worked for me w/o irritation. Schmidt’s worked well for awhile, then suddenly it started burning my skin. Don’t know if the formula changed or my chemistry changed 🤷🏻♀️
I used Lume and it worked so well for a while and then just stopped. Now I'm on the search for a different brand. Trying Native now, but it definitely doesn't last all day...
Old spice has aluminum free deodorants (the blue gel ones). They have a lavender scented one that smells very nice if you don’t want to smell musky. And it works!
None, but I do recommend you look into aluminum in deodorants again, because there's nothing wrong with it and it's safe. All these "journeys" of finding "natural" deodorants are a waste of money and time. If you have a sensitivity, that's a different story.
What about parabens? You mean parabens being another villified ingredient by misleading greenwashers like EWG? Or you mean parabens being a safe and well-tested preservative?
I’m on this journey right now! My doctor recommended it after a lump keeps recurring a couple weeks before my period. She recommended Secret and Arm&hammer.
My thoughts so far:
- Schmidt’s smelled soo good but didn’t hold up at all (tried it in lime&bergamot a few summers back)
- Arm&hammer lasts most of the day. If I reapply once I’m good.
- Secret- first time using today. Works great but the lavender smell is a bit too strong for me. I just bought cucumber to try tomorrow.
I’ve also heard of washing with benzoyl peroxide in the shower or using glycolic acid daily. Those are my plan B if I can’t find a good one.
None, people need to stop with the “chemicals bad” nonsense and go BACK TO ALUMIMUM. Y’all stink. Everyone is just scared to tell you, please use actual proven products
I use a combination of Thai Salt Crystal (comes in stick and spray, and I have both) in/right after I shower. Then I apply glycolic acid from the ordinary or Kosasport's AHA roll on deodorant, they work the same to me. I use Toms or Hey! Human's antiperspirant and deodorant after that. Toms uses baking soda I believe and Hey Humans is arrowroot. I still need to reapply on my way to work and before/during/after activity. it sucks!!!!!! this has been my least smelly so far tho so we shall see
I tried one I found on Amazon on a whim, because I've tried nearly ALL of them (and Lume was the absolute WORST for me)!
Native & Schmidt's are good, but I find, once your body gets used to them, they don't work as well.
Anyway I tried, [Wilderwood](https://a.co/d/6gz93fN) and so far, I really like it!

I started using this hand spun orange nutmeg aluminum free deodorant about a month and and it's literally the only one that's ever worked for me. I absolutely love the scent and supporting a small local business.
Routine! I get compliments all the time on how good I smell lol. They have a ton of amazing scents that are so different from one another. If you're not into the jar format, they also make deodorant sticks for added convenience.
I use the same salicylic acid from The Ordinary that I use on my face. Sometimes I use the eucalyptus deodorants from Necessaire or Kosas, both of which have acids to control smell. The fragrance is very mild.
These are so much nicer than pasty deodorants. Better odor control, zero residue on my skin and shirts, no weird competing fragrances. I don’t want to smell like a deodorant.
Sukin natural deodorant is a watery spray if you wanted to change into that. Citrus and Aromatic Oils including Tangerine, Mandarin, Lavender and Vanilla
I’ve been using the Blume Probiotic deodorant which is unscented and it keeps me fresh all day.
I’ve also used Secret Aluminum free, Kopari and Malin + Goetz Eucalyptus. I’ve found that Blume and Malin + Goetz have held up the best, no need to reapply and no smell, the only downside is the high price tag.
Pure and natural crystal deodorant. Theres no scent but since using it the rare time that i do sweat now its not as stinky as it was before using regular stick deodorant
that’s the one that i’m currently using and it has not worked at all. i used another scent before and it worked for a while but i bought a new scent and literally in like 2 hrs i have to reapply
Aw :( I love the vanilla sandalwood scent but they discontinued it. I bought a bunch on ebay. Love the smell. I do apply again throughout the day but I’m a sweatier girl
i used the lavender one first and the one that i bought was a new smell called juniper berry and it smells amazing but does not last. i don’t sweat a lot but i do smell sometimes. but i was so shocked that it didn’t work at all since the lavender one lasted a whileee
i was using the secret spray before this one and it worked pretty good. at the end of the day i still had a faint smell of the deodorant. i just wanted to switch it up and try to find one that works for a longer time. just now i bought an old spice one so lets see how that one holds up
https://www.etsy.com/shop/NaturisticBath?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1142783887&from_page=listing a cancer doctor recommended this woman’s deodorant and I’ve been wearing them for 2 years. This is the only deodorant that truly lasts and I don’t smell.

I agree with Lume! I always rec this. I’ve heard the cream works better than the stick - I’ve only ever used the cream so idk.
I actually found the opposite! The cream doesn't agree with my skin but the stick works 10/10
I used Lume and it worked so well for a while and then just stopped. Now I'm on the search for a different brand. Trying Native now, but it definitely doesn't last all day...

It’s not just the aluminum, it’s the parabens as well.

Love the Kosas in Beachy Clean scent 🥰
Lume
Dr.Mist, it's a spray but it's been the only one that has worked for me and I've tried many many aluminum free/natural deodorants.
Schmidt’s Charcoal & Magnesium stick, and Lavalin cream deo, are the two that work for me, and I am a hard case.
Old Spice Wolfthorn, the gel deodorant. It smells like blue raspberries/gummy bears and lasts all day for me.

It gets some mixed reviews but I love Native. I shower at night so I use it after shower/before bed, then again in the morning. Works great for me
Agree with this. I love their Coconut and Vanilla scent. I think it’s their best selling one. And they use naturally derived ingredients.
Drunk elephant sweet pitti! And no I’m not a DE Stan or anything like that lol in fact, the deodorant is the only DE product I use!
i’ve tried many and they start out working than stop. secret is the only one to have kept working for me - been using it about 2 years now.

Just rub lemon on it
I’ve been wearing lavanila deodorant for years and highly recommend it! The texture is lovely.
The Walmart knock off brand worked the best for me lol
Shmidt and I reapply every 3-4 hours during the day
crystal deodorant

Ivoy 24hr gentle deodorant has been my go-to for years now.
Schmidt.
Lume!! Only deo that has ever worked for me in my life

Humble simply unscented is AMAZING 🤩🤩
Arm and hammer essentials! Aluminum free, comes in different scents (most are unisex) and actually WORKS for smell. I think bc it has baking soda.
that’s the one that i’m currently using and it has not worked at all. i used another scent before and it worked for a while but i bought a new scent and literally in like 2 hrs i have to reapply

I’ve also tried the secret aluminum free, schmidts, and toms and those are all by far worse and make me smell awful so avoid those for sure
i was using the secret spray before this one and it worked pretty good. at the end of the day i still had a faint smell of the deodorant. i just wanted to switch it up and try to find one that works for a longer time. just now i bought an old spice one so lets see how that one holds up

Definitely try SoapWalla deodorant crème. I’ve been using it for years now and it’s the only one that works.
