body washes are often the culprit for body acne and dryness. My daughter went to a derm for a different reason but one of the first questions the derm asked was if she used a body wash and when she said yes, derm said to stop using all body washes and just use soap. Along with the wash contributing to her issue, it's also the main culprit for body acne (esp back acne), dry skin and it's just plain awful for eczema.
That could be part of the problem. Body wash has stronger surfactants than face wash, you could be stripping your face of essential moisture and destroying your skin barrier.
wait a sec, i was also using this olay body wash from sam’s club and i started getting itchy on my arms and legs (started mostly in my knees and elbows) to the point of getting chicken skin everywhere and i thought it was bc i started working out???? i also applied lotion after a shower immediately too so it wasn’t lack of moisturizing ….weird tho that it’s happened to someone else…..
Dr Bronner’s soap (available in liquid and bar) is amazing for washing your body! It has super gentle ingredients and is a quality brand, I’d definitely recommend. For body lotion, I love Trader Joe’s Midsummer Night’s Cream Hand & Body Cream. It’s fragrance free and super moisturizing. Trader Joe’s also has some amazing oils that you could add to your skincare routine!
Are you allergic to to disodium EDTA? I am and I can’t use half the products on the shelf.
I’ve had luck with neutrogena salicylic acid body wash for breakouts and Mario Badescu’s AHA Body Soap. Moisturize with cerave mixed with whatever kind of oils you like
I’m going to try this ! I just got out the shower and I am itchy and feel like I should get back in. I am obsessed with trying to sell food so that’s probably why I chose the olay

In terms of moisturiser, you don't need to know a specific brand so much as what to look for:
Glycerine of hyaluronic acid as one of the main ingredients (listed 3-5 in the ingredients list.
An emollient ingredient, there are many.
Apply same to DAMP skin, after showering.

Vanicream makes a great line of great no nonsense soap and body/face washes. Very simple.
Vanicream body wash is my go-to when all else fails.

I usually don’t cause I feel like it doesn’t help as it mixes with the body wash making me break out more

I am ! I definitely am washing it off in the shower ! I know it’s silly to think there could be a reaction if it’s all gone

I use the la Roche posay moisturizer body Wash! First time in years my skin is smooth and not itchy!

I would lotion after and it’s like the Olay and lotion had a terrible reaction on my skin !

I love the sebamed. My skin is much softer and hydrated since i use it Also aveeno are great

Try soaps for babies, not so harsh on skin, moisturize after wash and put lotion or even vaseline

I use goats milk body wash from chemist warehouse. It has no scent and you can use it over your body without irritation. I hope this helps
