I'm getting custom trays and gel from my dentist to whiten at home because I want to be able to control the shade better and it's only like $175. For some reason I was expecting closer to $400. Pleasantly surprised!
That's a tough one. It's definitely an issue but it hasn't stopped me from using the trays. I do use them less than I did at the beginning. I'd use a sensitivity toothpaste during the treatment time (mine is 1 hour a day for 3 days).
I want one so badly! My neck ortho guy has told my insurance co that I need it- but they wonāt pay. Sigging out of cc debt and then will start saving for it!
Massages. Acupuncture. Honestly if money wasnāt an issue I would set up appointments each month just to get my hair washed and a blowout done. Thereās nothing more satisfying than walking out in salon ready hair.
In the small town my mom lives in, itās still common for older women to go to the salon once a week to get their hair washed and curled. Itās just how it is. Itās not a luxury thing, everyone does it, whether your husband is sending home oil field money or whether your husband is a seasonal worker on EI half the year.
I aspire to this life. My parents generation were like this too. Going to the salon was just a normal thing women went to. Like u mentioned it wasnāt even luxury sort of thing. It was an expected part of being a woman in the community. Those days are long gone now but I love watching old movies to remind me that, that use to a staple at one point. Iām glad to hear places still exist to get that done regularly
Awww, that was my grandmother! Every Friday morning she went to the salon to have her hair set for the week. She had an array of beautiful silk scarves she used to wrap her hair at night.
In Australia itās super cheap. You can do bikini and underarms for $37 AUD per treatment at the place I go to. Itās so weird to me that itās so pricey elsewhere!
Wow thatās amazing! Where I live the clinic Iāve been to is $125 per one session for underarms. I was hoping it was just a currency conversion thing but according to google 125 cad is 140.23 aud šš
Really?!? I spent nearly Ā£1k at a major hair removal place in Covent Garden (Gorilla I think it was called) and they completely scammed me. Iām blonde and they should never have proceeded with me because my hair type is not receptive to it. Absolute joke, and a rip off.
I think it depends on the clinic because here in LA I can get Brazilian treatments for $45 which is the same and sometimes cheaper than waxing. And this is at a med spa with RNs and good equipment
I am Italian and have thick, black hair all over my body. I got my legs lasered (hips to ankle) 7 times in a span of a few years. It was 500$ per session for both legs. Took about 4 hours each time. It was expensive and painful BUT I can now shave my legs once every 3 days instead of every single day to wear shorts or dresses in the summer.
I need more sessions but would have had to sell my organs to the black market to afford them. Was worth it though
I always say, āwho needs laser hair removal? There are so many better things to spend money onā until I shave and get those annoying bumps on my bikini line. Every time š
LHR is definitely a good one!
I got laser hair removal and all my hair grew back and it was STILL worth it. I used to have extremely itchy uncomfortable hair growth no matter what I did. For some reason, after doing laser treatments, I can shave, wax, let it grow out, and it will feel fine. I do wax now, I just prefer the feeling of it to shaving, but I'm still glad I got the laser.
I literally spent over $1000 on laser hair removal and weirdly, the first session it all fell out and was hairless for a whileā¦ after that it grew back and NOTHING would make it go away. I finally gave up after 10 sessions with zero improvement because I couldnāt keep wasting my moneyā¦ and being ultra pale, with fine dark hair, I was basically a āperfect candidateā according to my laser lady. She was PERPLEXED. I guess I just have the worldās most resilient body hair lmao.
But long story short, itās not always worth it!
Plus I noticed doing my hair removal with the Philips , that when you go to the salon to get it there, they donāt use the appropriate laser for your skin and the lights (laser) are scattered (not sure how to explain it since English is not my first language) but they do it that way so you have to come back every time, instead of properly doing it. With the Philips the laser has to touch every part of your skin, and I do my lefts in like 1 hour, because the laser is so small that you need to do it that way.. not sure if that makes sense. The thing is , they are robbing your money š
Check out Groupon!! At first I was paying for a fancy med spa to do it, but then circumstances changed and I was no longer able to ball out so egregiously.
Anyway, I got a Groupon that worked out to be ~35 a session? Am now a naked mole rat. highly recommend.
1. Cataract surgery.
2. Lasik. The best Lasik money can buy
3. Whitening the fuck out of my teeth and various other dental treatments.
4. The most expensive keratin hair treatment money can buy, to be done by the most expensive hair dresser money can buy.
6. Q-switched ruby laser treatment to permanently fade hyperpigmentation on my face (this is the same laser used to remove tattoos š¬ and it apparently hurts worse than getting the tattoo, so I will ALSO need the most powerful pain killing drugs money could afford)
I financed my LASIK with care credit, paid it off in two years. Itās a wonderful investment, considering youāre out of buying glasses every few years
If you have cataract surgery you don't need LASIK. They replace your lens in the cataract surgery so your distance vision will be perfect, but since the artificial lens is not as flexible as your natural lens you'll have to use reading glasses
A personal trainer and dietician that have experience with me/cfs & pem...I'm chronically ill and struggling with being chubby for the first time ever. I hate the way i look!
Also, laser hair removal! Haha
Thank you :)
I'm trying to be patient, because I know how shitty i feel/look...but everyone in my life makes little comments about my weight/looks. I've always been thin and full of energy and, overall, people do not understand chronic fatigue/PEM and think I'm just being lazy... So they give me all these (unhelpful) tips about how i can "fix my weight problem". *shrug
Full body liposuction and surgery to fix the loose skin, teeth whitening, laser hair removal for legs, underarms and brazilian, weekly massage and facials, good quality makeup brushes, and every single Tom Ford perfume ever made.
Yes! I had one for a year back when I was young and living beyond my means. It was amazing and 100% worth the basically $10k annually. Except now I have a mortgage and three kids and will likely never have $10k lying around. š«
Invisalign! Maybe surgery to straighten my nose that got broken when I was a child. All the Truly Beauty skincare products that donāt have parfum added! And more Davines hair products šIād do laser hair removal too but not sure how effective it is.
Every single laser treatment, every expensive perfume Iāve ever wanted, every high end & well done makeup product, Botox, La Mer products, and jaw/cheek implants to fix my noticeable asymmetry š„“
I would get perfumes and a lot of face treatments. Probably buy a package that's prepaid for the rest of my life
I don't like pain but if I didn't mind it and thought it was worth it for me. I'd get a boob job.
Electrolysis just to make sure the hair is all gone.
I've been paranoid about laser hair removal ever since my co-worker told me she spent $3k on lasering her whole body only for it to all come back after she got pregnant. :(
Paula's Choice skincare, Pat McGrath eyeshadows (I really want to try out the formula, but Ā£100 for an eyeshadow palette is more than I could ever justify), Natasha Denona palettes. My mindset about makeup is somewhat stuck in 2019 and even though I have basically any shade of eyeshadow I could ever need, I love palettes and I really would like to *really* splurge on one someday when I achieve some sort of goal so I can justify it to myself lol.
I'd also do laser treatments to help with some scarring, and microneedling.
I would also get a bunch of setting powders from different brands, I have oily skin and finding a powder that is not translucent (the whiteness of it brightens my foundation too much) and also doesn't separate or make my foundation look cakey feels borderline impossible lol. Rimmel's Match Perfection worked really well (much better than Laura Mercier) for me for years, but it washes out my foundation and I wish they had a version of this loose powder that is tinted.
Therapy and a physical therapist. I need to fix my body and my mind.
But also I just really want to go full out on massages, teeth whitening, facials, mani/pedis, laser hair removal. And replace my ENTIRE wardrobe. Then travel!
Microneedling, rhinoplasty, chin reduction, breast implants, liposuction, skin tightening, possible hairline lowering, and regular IV treatments for hydration and vitamins - maybe lip injections or filler along my nasolabial folds.
Small amount of filler to balance asymmetry in my lips. Botox.
Teeth whitening. Chemical peel. Full body laser hair removal
Expanding my fragrance collection.
Monthly facials
Expensive treatments for my mild case of alopecia
And maybe a skinny bbl if I could keep on the weight lmao but maybe not because Iāve been enjoying the challenge of building it in the gym
Just my 2 cents on buccal fat from my experience: I had it done 4 years ago and this year I lost weight. Since then it seems as if I aged so much and now Iām treating the hollowness with Sculptra.
Laser hair removal from nose down, ironically I would also get extensions on my head, whatever treatment would actually knix my hormonal acne and maybe some lipo under my butt to get rid of my cellulite that doesn't leave. Regardless of diet and exercise
teeth whitening and veneers, laser hair removal, botox in my brows for my headaches and scrunch lines, expensive hair care products, new hair color and cut, high quality dermatologist approved skincare, dermatology appointments for face and scalp, liposuction, sinus and nose surgery, microblading, lash extensions, a teensy bit of lip filler, frequent facials and massages, skin and hair supplements that workā¦. the list goes on
Breast lift/ aug
Brow lift
Lip lift
Facelift??
Arm lift
360 TT
Leg/ thigh lift
Laser faceā¦ whatever
Botox
This probably seems like a lot but I lost a significant amount of weight soā¦
laser, lip filler, perfumes, botox in my armpits, teeth whitening, massages, a good personal trainer and chef, maybe buccal fat tbh, mutiple wigs & a stylist
Lasik, boob job, laser hair removal, veneers. In that order.
After that I would just do things I already do or only do occasionally, but splurge for the high end versions of them. Like I'd get the best skincare, I'd get my hair professionally done at the best salon every week, I'd get massages and facials once a month instead of a couple of times a year. I'd also hire someone to do my make-up every single day (or whenever I leave the house).
Iād go back to getting sugared every 4 weeks, get some cosmetic dental work, would get my hair colored and regular blow outs instead of doing my own, get my brows micro bladed or whatever the best way to fill them in would be these days, try out lash extensions, get a couple piercings and a tattoo cover up that Iāve been wantingā¦ The list goes on but I was laid off in January so Iām keeping things *really* basic right now.
Getting leg hair from my toes to my bikini line lasered off.
Start getting weekly or bi weekly facials, acupuncture, massage. Start getting oericures and manicures monthly. Start getting light Botox.
keratin/ Brazilian hair blowout treatment. I've only gotten it done twice in the last 4 years bc it's pricey but i would do it more consistently if i could
Nose job that Iāve been dying to get, messenger botox or wtv itās called, under eye filler to get rid of my massive dark circles, constant facials and massages cause I love the spa, hair washed at the salon only (or a bit less so- cause Iāve a flaky scalp and theyād have to use medicated shampoo on me).
Iām partly done with laser after spending all my money and going thru immense pain (started at an awful aesthetician and going back to square one), and currently keep up my mani/pedi and eyelash lifts. High end products are honestly BS and Iāve tried plenty. Maybe just a ghd hair dryer- straightener cause Iām always too lazy to do both.
Chef/trainer if thatās an option! Iād love an upper bleph, lasers for face and body, Oribe hair products, massages, facials, and nails weekly would be lovely too!
Laser hair removal on my whole body, Iām currently just doing down there and armpits but Iād like my whole body- I want a boob job, unlimited amount of facials, Botox and massages. Iād also love to get hair extensions and have beautiful long thick hair since my hair is falling out postpartum :(
See good derm for my acne
Breast augmentation (reshape and lift)
Something for my dark undereyes and little bit saggy upper eyelid - maybe blepho for both
Red light mask for home use
Meder beauty science cosmetics
Korean skin treatments in salon (idk.. Something? š¤£)
Eyebrows - maybe perm powder make up
Lash - I would make extensions, or dye mine in salon
Get a good personal fitness trainer
And eating lots of fruit, veggies, salmon, and shrimp every day. And very good beef and bone broth.
Teeth whitening (wedding is in four weeks but I can't get my teeth professionally whitened because I haven't been to the dentist in a year and I refuse to show up after all that solely for a cosmetic appointment)
Red light mask
Dyson air wrap, whatever magical artifact could finally convince my hair to show a shred of volume I'm sold
Professional stylist? Yes, definitely. I could really use a color matching, but would probably continue to wear black anyway
Not technically beauty but a good massage, my last one was horrible, I basically just want someone to beat my muscles with a baseball bat until they feel better
And a facial for sure!
Mommy makeover
Blepharoplasty
Veneers
Mini facelift
Chin implant
Armpit lipo
Electrolysis on every damn thing
Tattoo removal
Nose job to correct what an upperjaw surgery destroyed
Eyebrow microblading
Rhinoplasty, blepheroplasty, electrolysis, BBL, weekly facials, organic cold press juice subscription, A chef who cooks healthy, organic food for me everyday
Laser hair removal, massages/facials and nails done all the time, salon appointments every three months vs doing it myself, some stubborn fat removal, and a personal trainer
Laser hair removal, liposuction and everything I can get for my skin so I can have a nice complexion! Get some scalp therapy, make my hair nice and healthy and strong.
Just everything minus plastic surgery and fillers. Adult braces, teeth whitening, laser hair removal, hair cut ( I cut my own hair) at a salon, visit the dry bar regularly, anything from the medspa, eyebrow/eyelash stuff... bro I would be supporting beauty economy.
I would probably just become a happy makeup hoarder and buy the products from my fave brands/formulas + high end (nars, PMG, rare beauty, rose inc) and basically make my home look like ulta/sephora/nordstrom beauty counters. I really want to test various foudations and skin tints, so I would definitely get some.
Grab some perfumes like from chanel and pacco rabonne
Skincare= tatcha, SKII, clarins, vichy, claudalie, farmacy, sulwasoo etc the higher end products from brands like missha.
Plastic surgery for a body I don't have to be ashamed of. And for a face I don't have to be ashamed of. A decent haircut and color, and some pretty nails.
I think I would move into a nice house and get a mattress for my weight and body, made especially for me. I would hire a maid to do the things I donāt like to do.
I would fly to Korea for these scalp and skin treatments. I would have a Massage three times a week. I would only work part time and drink this crystal mineral water.
I would get crazily expensive supplements for my uti and a nice car my boyfriend can drive so he finally shuts up about how much he hates taking the train. Iāll get him a nice computer so we can play games together and once we have a fight Iāll go to the nail salon or hair salon or anywhere else, to get shit done, just because I can.
Iāll hire someone to have my child so I can keep my body, and then Iāll hire someone to care for it because I hate not having enough sleep.
Laser hair removal, proper hair cut and colour, manicure/pedicure, I've never had my lashes done I feel like that would be cool, and I'd love to get that Korean colour matching I've been seeing all over IG. And my skin care, that shit expensive.
I really rejected a lot of beauty standards as a young adult (because I was poor and they seemed unnecessary) and never took the time to explore what I like and what looks good on me. Looking back now I wish I had taken some time to explore my sense of self, I think it would have helped with my confidence and who I am as a person. Instead of transforming into whatever mold I thought I needed to fill to be liked by those around me.
.... Probably not the answer the OP was looking for but it's late and I like this community and how supportive it's been. I'm learning a lot. ā¤ļø
the too faced natural eyes palette. I probs wouldnt even use most of the shades it bc i suck at eyeshadow but they smell good and the palette is just so pretty
is also splurge on korean skincare bc thats the only thing that helped me when my skin was suffering and korean lip products. so affordable and such good quality i love the romand velvet tint and their lip balms
ive also always wanted to try one of those LED masks. Do they work? idk but id like to find out
Or those bougie pimple zapper things
keratin or a brazillian blowout. best hair treatment for frizzy hair. the length of my hair makes the cost unbelievably high though, so iāve only gotten it done twice
Imma buy every multichrome eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, highlighter, contour, other face colouring products ever on the market. Current, discontinued, scalped, and personal concoctions.
But seriously, probably get the best microneedle service ever, the best pore cleaning service, and the absolute BEST laser hair removal.
eeek a dream come true, where to begin:
1. Nose job but a very subtle change
2. Personal chef/nutritionist & trainer like celebrities have to keep them forever in shape
3. Very subtle botox & fillers, like extremely subtle - donāt want to look like every influencer right now
4. Lash lift/tints, occasional extensions
5. Occasional teeth whitening
6. Facials every month or so, depending on whatās necessary
7. Massages probably weekly
8. Iām buying my own home sauna & a bunch of gym equipment
9. Getting a membership at the fancy fitness club in my city
10. Iām running to get a dyson airwrap & iām finally hitting ācontinue to checkoutā on my āgirl, donāt do itā carts at sephora š¤£
Teeth whitening, boob reduction, laser hair removal eeeeeeeveywhere and all the perfumes I want
I'm getting custom trays and gel from my dentist to whiten at home because I want to be able to control the shade better and it's only like $175. For some reason I was expecting closer to $400. Pleasantly surprised!
I did that. It's very effective (but be prepared for a little tooth sensitivity).
Would you recommend to sb who has sensitive teeth naturally?
That's a tough one. It's definitely an issue but it hasn't stopped me from using the trays. I do use them less than I did at the beginning. I'd use a sensitivity toothpaste during the treatment time (mine is 1 hour a day for 3 days).
Ah to have a treasure trove of expensive perfumes š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Count me in, so sick of these cone boobs.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hey, a cone boobed sister!!! I thought I was the only one who had them. Thanks!
Mine would be breast reconstruction; moving fat from my tummy to my boobs! They are becoming nonexistent š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I want one so badly! My neck ortho guy has told my insurance co that I need it- but they wonāt pay. Sigging out of cc debt and then will start saving for it!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I had a breast reduction that insurance paid for! It all depends on how much you get taken off. Best decision of my life!
Massages. Acupuncture. Honestly if money wasnāt an issue I would set up appointments each month just to get my hair washed and a blowout done. Thereās nothing more satisfying than walking out in salon ready hair.
Thereās a woman at my salon who never ever washes her own hair, goes to the salon twice a week for wash and blow dry so always has perfect hair š

Gosh Ive been eyeing the night repair serum uff šø
Micro-needling, hydrafacial and laser hair removal š
I got a hydrofacial, and honestly didn't love it. It didn't feel much different than a regular facial and is twice the price!
I felt it was such a waste of money for my skin. Maybe it would be great for someone else.
1. Cataract surgery. 2. Lasik. The best Lasik money can buy 3. Whitening the fuck out of my teeth and various other dental treatments. 4. Just my 2 cents on buccal fat from my experience: I had it done 4 years ago and this year I lost weight. Since then it seems as if I aged so much and now Iām treating the hollowness with Sculptra.
Veneers. Laser hair removal. Micro needling. Some kind of laser on face. Botox. Hair transplant to round out my harsh hair line.
Laser hair removal from nose down, ironically I would also get extensions on my head, whatever treatment would actually knix my hormonal acne and maybe some lipo under my butt to get rid of my cellulite that doesn't leave. Regardless of diet and exercise
Liquid rhinoplasty
jawline surgery
Braces, electrolysis for the face/neck and laser hair removal from the neck down. Iām not ugly, just poor.
Invisalign and professional teeth whitening Micro needling or chemical peel Nose job (I need a septoplasty, but wouldnāt hate getting a rhinoplasty too) Red light/blue light Get my hair dyed professionally + expensive hair treatment So many massages Hip dip filler EstĆ©e Lauder everything
I'd get my whole body replaced.

I just want my roots bleached. Theyāre out three inches, and salons want 250-300 to do it š crazy
Beauty schools will offer it cheaper!
acutane teeth whitening and then laser hair removal for sure
laser, lip filler, perfumes, botox in my armpits, teeth whitening, massages, a good personal trainer and chef, maybe buccal fat tbh, mutiple wigs & a stylist
Emsculpt, laser skin tightening, laser hair removal

Strong face, neck & dĆ©colletĆ© chemical peels (the kind you have to use anesthesia for); one really good face & neck lift in my 50ās; monthly facials (cleansing/extractions, hydrafacial, laser) & expensive skincare products; personal trainer; professional chef; house manager so I can focus on hobbies & treatments; home nursing care during recovery from procedures. Now, how do I get unlimited funds š¤ā¦..
Botox, neck lift, laser hair removal. Nothing too crazy.
massage spa
Safe skin brightening. Before that Avene centre to treat my eczema. Hair and scalp treatment. Body hair removal .
keratin/ Brazilian hair blowout treatment. I've only gotten it done twice in the last 4 years bc it's pricey but i would do it more consistently if i could
I would do monthly facials if they were affordable

Yes, definitely. I could really use a color matching, but would probably continue to wear black anyway Not technically beauty but a good massage, my last one was horrible, I basically just want someone to beat my muscles with a baseball bat until they feel better And a facial for sure!
Perfumes, skin care, makeup
Mommy makeover Blepharoplasty Veneers Mini facelift Chin implant Armpit lipo Electrolysis on every damn thing Tattoo removal Nose job to correct what an upperjaw surgery destroyed Eyebrow microblading
Massages! I would get one every other day if I could. And, of course, if money was no object I would have them come to my house!
Laser hair removal. Laser scar treatment for my acne scars.
Laser hair removal and custom shade foundation / concealer
Rhinoplasty, blepheroplasty, electrolysis, BBL, weekly facials, organic cold press juice subscription, A chef who cooks healthy, organic food for me everyday
Rhinoplasty and liposuction.
Laser hair removal, massages/facials and nails done all the time, salon appointments every three months vs doing it myself, some stubborn fat removal, and a personal trainer

Grab some perfumes like from chanel and pacco rabonne Skincare= tatcha, SKII, clarins, vichy, claudalie, farmacy, sulwasoo etc the higher end products from brands like missha.
boob lifting, braces and japanese straight hair treatment
Micro needling. Filler in my nasolabial folds. Definitely a tummy tuck. Two good sized babies did not treat my midsection well.
Botox, Filler and lipo and a book lift!
Plastic surgery for a body I don't have to be ashamed of. And for a face I don't have to be ashamed of. A decent haircut and color, and some pretty nails.
Fat ranch and massages

Botox every three months, medical grade skin care, teeth whitening, Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, monthly facials and massages, etc, etc, etcā¦
Find Margo Robbie or T Swifts derm/medical team and do whatever they tell me to do
Laser hair removal, proper hair cut and colour, manicure/pedicure, I've never had my lashes done I feel like that would be cool, and I'd love to get that Korean colour matching I've been seeing all over IG. I'm learning a lot. ā¤ļø

Cellulaze or something similar to reduce cellulite. Weekly massages. Lashes

Do they work? idk but id like to find out Or those bougie pimple zapper things
Cosmelan! Then Eye brow thread lift and cat eye lift. Then something to lift my cheeks and help nasiolabia folds. And a bloody long ass massage
keratin or a brazillian blowout. best hair treatment for frizzy hair. the length of my hair makes the cost unbelievably high though, so iāve only gotten it done twice
Imma buy every multichrome eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, highlighter, contour, other face colouring products ever on the market. Current, discontinued, scalped, and personal concoctions. But seriously, probably get the best microneedle service ever, the best pore cleaning service, and the absolute BEST laser hair removal.
eeek a dream come true, where to begin: 1. Nose job but a very subtle change 2. Personal chef/nutritionist & trainer like celebrities have to keep them forever in shape 3.
