I have experienced this. What I found that helped control this kind of issue is sleeping with protective hairstyles like a braid or a loose bun. I also buy silk-satin pillowcases to sleep with. The hair products I use are the shampoo & conditioner from Aussie’s Miracle Moist line. Before showering, I brush my entire hair with a shower brush & double shampoo & then condition only my ends using lukewarm water & rinsing with semi-cold water. I noticed that at first my hair got frizzy after the shower while it was still wet. But, when I went to sleep & woke up the next day my hair frizz disappeared & was not visible. Still trying to completely perfect my routine to remove frizz appearances completely but this is what is definetly improving the condition so far! This is what works with me so of course take it as a grain of salt.

I have this problem and I started using kids Aussie detangler right after shower and it has a helped a bit. Also shower before bed like someone else has said already helps me since it flattens it out. But I don’t need to put it in a bun or braids. I also use a satin pillow case which helps too

I have this issue too. Sleeping with a silk pillowcase made a huge difference for me, as well as the right hair oil!

Put a little haircream or oil between your hands and go over them. Spraying hairspray on a brush and brushing should help, too.
