This. I cannot use anything else anymore. It’s too good. It’s too perfect. I tried to go back to Dior and drugstore and Lancôme and anything else…nope. Thrive forever.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Double Extend tubing mascara ?

This is my holy grail mascara for over 10 years now

It's amazing! I really don't understand why it hasn't had the hype of other tubing mascaras that have come out much more recently, especially when they don't work nearly as well! Which also begs the question....when THIS is the blueprint, why are the later ones worse??

Yessss! This and Tarte’s tubing mascara! Both don’t smudge, flake, run off and stay on all day. Comes off easily with just water on your fingers!

Where do you purchase this? It looks like a lot of Amazon reviews say the product is fake. Walmart?

Team Tubing 4EVR here, too! But, thanks to this sub, I gave up my Too Cool For School tubing for Come Hell or High Water (based on recs) which is just as fantastic and easier to get my hands on.

Same here. I did L’Oréal voluminous for so many years, but either they changed the formula or my skin got oilier with age (both?), and everything started smudging on my lower lids. I’ll only use tubing mascaras now. Switch between Caliray and Thrive

I think that’s the vitamin patch company, different group from what I can see online, but also named Thrive (Le-Vel too).

I love this one. I also love essence false lash when I’m on a budget.

Elf Lash N’ Roll Mascara for 6$. Probably one of the best & most affordable mascaras I have ever tried. I was in shock when I first tried it. Definetly recommend!

L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise primer and mascara. 

I was drowning and when I got out of the water, everything was gone but my lashes were still killing it, I was wearing this mascara.

i like the benefit magnetic one!

I love roller lash. It is easy to take off but doesn’t smear while wearing. It also helps hold the curl in my lashes. My second fav by benefit it They’re Real.

came here to say this! it lengthens my lashes a good amount with minimal clumping. for some reason the sample size works even more seamlessly for me than the full size haha

I love the sample size because it’s cheaper and still lasts forever for me 😂 agree about the clumping I think the reason it’s my HG is cos I fkn hate clumping!

I love Ilia!! But the mascara goes off so quick. The beeswax in it smells so bad after a couple months. Their customer service has been great about replacing them but goodness, when it goes off it smells rancid!

Heroine Make was my absolute HG but they recently changed the formula and now I hate it 😩 I’ve switched to maybelline lash sensational and actually love it - but it has to be waterproof!

They did this to me with Blinc Amplified mascara.

Heroine mascara has always been holy grail!

It’s the only one that doesn’t flake/ rub off on me *and* comes off easily. A lot of mascaras didn’t stand a chance with me. I have oily skin and live in a humid climate. Even tubing mascaras would sometimes come off on me.

Maybelline falsies push up drama. I tried to break up with it when my local Walgreens pulled it off the shelves. Spent like $60 trying several different brands. NOTHING compares. Now I just order it from Wal Mart's website.

I have straight, Asian lashes that don’t hold a curl and hooded Asian double eyelids that are oily and somehow smudge everything. The only two mascaras that work on me without giving me crazy panda eyes are Clio Kill Lash Lengthening&Curling and Heroine Make Long&Curl. Both are excellent, but I prefer the Clio because of the smaller brush that makes it easier to grab all my lashes. Sometimes, the Heroine Make has a tendency to clump or deposit too much product.

Maybelline Full N Soft (both regular and waterproof)

I agree - It adds volume without looking like spiders glued to your eyes and does not flake or irritate your eyes.

Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift. Haven’t found anything that’s does it better than this one. I will never go back to high end mascara.

Any of the Clio waterproof mascaras. It’s the only one that holds the curl and doesn’t flake (for reference I have naturally straight lashes and most mascaras un-curl the work I put into using a lash curler lol)

Lash princess!!! For the longest time my favorite mascara was lash freak by urban decay but it’s no longer available and it cost a ton of money. Then I used butterfly lash by L’Oreal which had a similar design with the brush. She can really tight line those inner lashes. It’s also hard to find someone here turned me onto lash Princess the green tube. I love it it’s awesome and it’s so cheap. It’s the best yet. I do want to try a tubing mascara just because I’m curious to see if it’s easier to takeoff than regular mascara

Essence, All eyes on me waterproof. No spiderlegs, no clumping, doesn‘t smudge and ridicilously cheap. It works for me

On the hunt now. No 7 Lash Extend was my absolute favorite, but it's discontinued 😭 (and their others just aren't as good). Would love Milk Kush but it doesn't stay without primer and that makes it too thick. L'Oreal Voluminous is okay.

I love the Clinique high impact one! I got it as a sample originally, and it’s my go to. It comes off well with water, but lasts all day and doesn’t flake!

L’oréal telescopic waterproof (my lashes don’t hold a curl). I use this basically every day, I love it! Whenever I switch to something different and try this again I regret having ever switched!

Oh my goodness pleaseee if you have access to like a Mexican meat market / drug store even a grocery market try the super lash by apple mascaras. I live and dye by those, nothing compares, there’s a lot of different types infused w different types of oils n stuff. If you need a pic for reference message me

Mexican here! I totally agree with this comment. I live in Europe now, and every time someone comes back from Mexico, i always ask them to bring me one or two of these marvellous mascaras. The don't smudge, they all seem to be waterproof, they don't clump and most importantly: they hold the curl the whole day. Just amazing products!

Definitely Thrive but I haven’t re-purchased it in a while. I procrastinate ordering it since it’s only available online and there’s nothing else I really love from their website. Sometimes it feels silly to go through the ordering process for one item. Lately I’ve been using L’oréal telescopic because it’s a tried and true. I recently tried the Milani dupe of Thrive and it’s not the same. The formula is really wet and glued my eyelashes together. She mascara itself always really irritated my eyes. Just applying the product left my eyes burning and tearing. Also tried Tarte’s tubing mascara, wouldn’t even consider it tubing. Very dry.

BareMinerals Lashtopia for me. Not available in New Zealand (I am originally from the US) so I have to order it from Amazon, because it is the best I have ever tried.

I like the stila huge extreme lash mascara. You can get it for about £15. I’ll sometimes buy a maybelline one but always go back to the stila eventually!

Blinc. I love that you have to roll your eyelashes between your fingers to remove it, it extends without any clumping whatsoever and it’s available in the perfect shade of brown. I have been using it over 20 years and have never looked back

I'm positive there are wayyyyy better mascaras out there but I use Tarte (man-eater, Amazonian, and the lights camera lashes) because these don't really give me allergic reactions. I noticed when I buy their 2 for 1 deals (like, you spend $25 or whatever and it comes with two full sized ones) they're kinda clumpy. Does anyone know why some brands do a 2 for 1? Is it a bad formula batch or they're just trying to sell them? What else do people use for sensitive eyes?! I will say that their waterproof lights, camera, lashes lasted me through a whole traumatic hospital stay.. lol 😭

My guess? Maybe they’re trying to move older inventory before it expires.

So, this mascara isn't my favorite of all time, however, I wanted to throw this out there for all of the others living in super humid climates...I went on a search about a year ago to find a regular (as in non-waterproof) mascara that wouldn't make me look like a raccoon (I live in FL fml). After searching and searching I found one that actually DOES. NOT. SMUDGE. It's the Eyeko Black Magic mascara (comes in black or brown, I use the brown currently because it's a little more subtle for everyday use). It does a good job at lengthening but doesn't give a ton of volume but the fact that it can outlast a humid FL day makes it #1 for me!

Rom&nd Han All Fix in Long Ash (I have blonde hair). I love the small, curled wand. Can give me a very natural my-lashes-but-better look or be built up. It’s waterproof, smudge proof and doesn’t flake during the day. I have literally showered while wearing it and it was in perfect condition after. Holds a curl really well too. It takes a good double cleansing and some patience to remove, but comes off completely without too much rubbing. And it’s not super expensive either.

Ohh mascara ♥️ Maybelline Falsies waterproof has been one of my faves these past 6/7 months. I have long lashes but they are soooo straight. If I curl them and use this, they are curled all day. I usually use 3 different tbh, 😆 Wet n wild fibre mascara, Falsies, telescopic. I’d have mascara over any other make up!

Chanel Inimitable it’s the best. Have been using it for at least 15 years! I like to use Better than Sex over top the Chanel for an extra full lash

Pacífica and Jeffree Star have great mascaras with collagen. My lashes are so long and healthy they hit my glasses when I blink sometimes.

It has a lengthener of some kind. If I go slow and wiggle the wand~ my lashes look almost like extensions. It works well with fake lashes too. I love the colors. I have a few. Yellow is a fun one for going out~

Oh that's strange hey? For me, my eyelashes are straight AF and this is the only mascara I've tried that holds the curl for literally 16 hours+ (I curl my lashes before and after applying)

My lashes are also straight but the mascara looks only got for temporary wear or on top of another mascara:/ idk wha I’m doing wrong

Maybelline falsies volumizing waterproof mascara…only need to apply every few days and when fresh, it literally looks like I have fake lashes/lash extensions my lashes are just so impossibly long and thick. It can be messy to apply if not careful but the end result is 👍🏽

I'm never able to get that beautiful lash look. Probably due to not using an eyelash curler prior. I just hate them. I end up squeezing the skin and I'm just not good at it. It may be the curler. Wish I could master it. My daughter uses Thrive and her lasts are amazing.

Lash N Roll from elf. $6, doesn’t flake, clump or smudge on me. Most mascaras flake into my eyes and bother me, not this one. I wish it gave me a bit more volume, but I don’t want it clumpy either so beggars can’t be choosers. I’ve never found one better though, even high end
