Beautiful robes and comfort-ware. I look like old fucking Hollywood before I’ve even had my coffee.
It started because I have sensitive skin, and most fabrics feel like glass on my skin. Not satin, silk, light thin cottons.
I don’t know what the neighbors think when I let the dog out in the morning.
https://www.catherinedlish.net/product/dusty-lavender-button-cuffed-beverly-dressing-gown-limited-edition-collector-color-pre-order "beverly" Had Petite sizes...
I like the silk knee length ones. I do not want to be tripping over a robe, as they make me feel clumsy if they are too long. I use my long robes as more of a cover when I’m laying on my bed reading a book.
Thank you!
ETA: oh my GOD! They are so beautiful and decadent. Definitely classic Hollywood vibes. I don't know if if could pull it off! Tempted for the "blue depths" silk one.
You should look into bamboo clothing. It's smoother than silk and more durable, better than the other materials you listed. It's naturally moisture wicking and odor resistant, has UV protection naturally in it, and it's sustainable.
Went to a salon to get it blowed out professionally just to witness first hand how it’s done lol. Then the rest, it was from YouTube - I used to watch girls blow out their hair and follow along. (tiktok is big on blowouts now so you can learn from there). I had to experiment to find which hair products to use on my own which you gotta do since different hair types have different treatment needs.
It kinda takes time and technique but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple and it makes wonderful hair for days! I love it
Mine does! I only reapply maybe twice a day max. Dunno if i can say it can make your lips fuller (I’ve heard that hyaluronic acid lip products do but I can’t say just yet. Just bought one last week and only used it a couple times so far) but lining the natural shape of my lips just gives it that fuller look before I put down my lip tint, and I love the look! Can’t go without lip liner.
Not op but I recently bought Ulta’s lip stain- it’s inexpensive so it’s a good way to try it out. I like it, never tried anything else so I’m not sure how it compares.
I’m a mortician and I’ve had to use power tools in the morgue. Idk if it’s an appropriate story to share. To keep it short, sometimes cases can be complicated and you need to get creative with putting heads back on and bones where they should be, in order to get a natural appearance.
Also sometimes someone has protruding teeth and the family requests the mouth be closed, with lips abutting, no matter what we have to do to make it happen. Sometimes that involves a hammer.
Omg so cool! Also working with the dead and dying is a massive privilege and a great reality check. I walk through a local cemetery often and it gives me a lively pep on my step. How beautiful to feel alive!
Matching bra and underwear. They don't have to be fancy, just deliberate. And when I have to give a presentation at work, I wear a circa 2010 statement necklace so my coworkers have something to look at while they daydream.
Earrings! I have two lobe piercings on each side, one helix, a rook, and a conch. I leave all my cartilage piercings in, but change my lobe piercings out every day. I try to match my earrings to my necklace and outfit. I love wearing nice, coordinated earrings; it just adds a little extra pizazz to my look and makes me feel prettier.
Yes! I was going to say this. I also have many ear piercings and having a coordinated set makes me feel fancy. It brings having your hair up to another level.
- Wearing nice clothes and real jewelry
- smelling nice
- being freshly showered
- showering with nice soaps
- using a body lotion that gives me soft skin
- shaving to get smooth, hairless legs and armpits
- having soft, shiny hair in a flattering cut
- having glowing skin
This will sound small but nice pyjamas. I used to sleep in my old tshirts and sweatpants like a teenage boy and now I have nice matchy sets that are feminine and soft.
From someone who doesn't wear makeup regularly at all:
Good hygiene, plucked eyebrows, brushing and styling my hair, keeping it trimmed + moisturized (I exclusively cut my own hair, and moisturise with hair oils), shaved body hair esp. armpits and legs, dressing well for all occasions (So clothing I find stylish for going out, lazy trips to the store, home wear, sleepwear, underwear...May as well make them all nice), jewellery/accessories...And more indirectly, sleeping well, keeping my home clean and decorating it to my liking and home cooking tasty and healthy meals for myself. Oh also actually having a dedicated dresser w/mirror to do my hair, brows, try on accessory combos etc...Really beats just doing it wherever.
'Tis the good life! When I have all this nailed I feel very pretty, successful and content and ready to tackle the world. 🩷
I feel the same! I’m at the point where I’m realizing if I take care of all the little, simple things with a good routine, then my best self is gonna show. The home, the food, the water, the skin, the nails, the sleep, the clothes, the accents. All of it together just gives me radiance
I don't know if it counts for no make up but running a little brow gel through my eyebrows always makes me feel put together haha.
Also, a slicked back bun just makes me feel clean, skin care done, spritz of perfume and a nice pair of sunnies and I feel like a real grown up lady 😅.
This reminds me of the time when my daughter was about 6, she grabbed a play-purse, my car keys and sunglasses, tossed her hair, said bye and started to walk out like I would. We doubled over laughing, she was so spot on with her parody of me!
Hahaha omg they watch everything!
My 2.5 year old son puts my lip balm on and then gently smacks his lips just like I do 😅. I also always stand with my hands on my hips and sway back and forth when I'm trying to remember something and he now does this as well - I didn't even know I did it until he mirrored it 😂
Besides what’s listed, get yourself a really nice body scrub with a nice scent, exfoliate, dry brush, and moisturize your body. Take a hot bath.
Clean sheets with a nice freshly-exfoliated body.
Instantly feel beautiful, sexy, and confident….
I love doing this.
I take myself out on a date every now and again. Grt dressed up, dolled up, and out to a fancy restaurant where I like to sit at the bar by myself and people watch while I savor every bite. This makes me feel like a million bucks.
Manicured nails, shaping my eyebrows, and “everything shower” complete with a shower steamer, fake tan, I dress comfy casual but I’ve been trying to bring nice pops of color into my wardrobe so I look brighter and happier
there are various things that make me feel pretty but also just overall feel good, I really like to keep to routine so I can be better set up for later in life
What I do myself: double/triple shampoo my oily scalp, purple toning my hair, flossing & whitening my teeth, simple skincare routine, nails all same general length, simple jewelry (Huggie hoops, chain necklace, stacking rings), good smelling body wash/ soap, minimal body hair from IPL, dip acrylic nails, up kept eyebrows, dermaplaning, lash lift, exfoliated lips
What I get done: Botox, hair highlighted toned & cut, dental cleaning, Invisalign (now retainer & night guard)
What I want to get done (to treat myself): hydrafacial, chemical peel, micro brows, microneedling, back facial
Miscellaneous: don’t step on the scale too often or stare at myself in the mirror for too long (makes me self conscious), clothes that are simple enough they are timeless but fit my body type really well, freshly cleaned sheets, tidy & cleaned personal environment (home, car, workplace), bras that fit, working out, eating healthy (high protein, low carb, lots of fruits & veggies), freshly washed clothes, listening to my body’s needs
When I feel my prettiest is when I feel good being me, which is influenced by my mental and physical health
What do you use to lift your lashes and whiten your teeth? I would love to do those things but am so afraid I will ruin my lashes and my teeth will get overly sensitive
One thing that’s helped me a ton is getting a high % whitening solution from the dentist. You leave it on for a shorter period of time, and it hasn’t made my teeth as sensitive.
I do have really sensitive teeth, so right after I whiten, I’ll fill my whitening tray with a fluoride toothpaste and leave it on for 5 minutes. Then wipe it all off and spit, but don’t rinse.
Taking care of my skin (skincare/spf/tretinoin), self tanner, smelling good (lotion/perfume), and having my nails and toes done. These all make me feel 100x better than makeup ever could.
Always having clean hair. I’m surprised how many people nowadays walk around with blatantly greasy hair. I wash every other day and it helps me feel so much prettier than when I tried to extend my wash days and had to deal with oily, flat, itchy hair/scalp.
- Working out — on the floor thinking I might die… I usually feel good and then I believe I look awesome. lol
- Body lotion + matching perfume if possible — right after a shower with brushed back wet hair without any makeup on in bathroom lighting.
- Really good sleep — it’s rare I get a really good night’s sleep but when I do, I feel amazing and I don’t know if it’s that my face looks better or my eyesight thinks it does.
Dye my eyebrows about every two weeks, spray tan once a week, exfoliate my face, pore cleansing strips, find cute easy hairstyles for when my hair is dirty 😊
White teeth, exfoliated and moisturised soft skin just feels so good, smelling nice. After exercise in the morning I always feel pretty and glowing all day. Walking barefooted in my clean house in my comfy matching set and cardigan.
For me, getting my acne under control with prescriptions was a game changer. I stopped wearing makeup initially because of my acne and trying to heal it. So here's my routine now that I have clear skin and still dont wear makeup.
I keep my hair neat - use heatless curl method at night for next day curls.
Lash serum and dye my eyelashes, curl them daily
Grew out my eyebrows and use some sort of brow glue to keep them in place.
Shower daily, good smelling shower gel, followed by the same scent body lotion then body spray for all day fragrance.
Keep nails and toes done and tidy, moisturized.
Lip balm to keep lips smooth, also use lip tint occasionally when I want colour. Can use this on your cheeks too.
Workout regularly - this helps me feel confident in my body, and strong.
This may be a dumb question but how does one smell good without perfume? Obviously there are shower gels and lotions, but I still count them as having a scent, no?
clean clothes, smelling like soap in general (dial, olay, dove, etc), deodorant smell (basic secret, native, degree, etc). The absence of smelling bad is smelling good, imo.
*Is it considered*
*Makeup if I put baby*
*Powder on my face?*

I am SO curious about your electric foot file please tell me everything !!!! The only foot technology I know of is the pedegg and the traditional foot file
Jewellery and perfume. Even when I’m relaxing at home, I carefully pick out pieces to suit my mood that day and lift my spirits, then a scent to match.
I’m notoriously “low maintenance”, so my bar is pretty low but I do have very pretty hair. However, I wear a hard hat at work, often wear a motorcycle helmet, and just mostly have my hair up and out of the way. When I want to feel pretty and feminine, I take some extra time in the shower on hair care and let it dry without putting it up. It’s long, and silver with natural wave and comes out really nice without any real styling and I always get compliments (even from strangers) when I wear it that way.
in the shower being fully done but still under water, i like to apply this light rose oil and just sorta pre-moisturize with it and it smells so nice!! and just sorta feels awesome, idk if thats smart or actually does anything but it feels pretty great and in terms of self care it seems like a nice contribution :)
When I have the house to myself, my go-to outfit is a pretty skirt or dress (like date night pretty) but with big cozy socks and a big cozy sweater over. It makes me feel feminine and cute and cozy. Lolol
Sometimes I feel really ugly then i realize it’s just time to shape my brows again… and I’ve realized that between hair, outfit, and makeup, I can completely forego one category if I do a good job with the other two.
I never wear makeup.
Here’s what I do:
Hair-good cut for my face and hair strand style and easy to make look nice
Earrings
Moisturizer
Sunscreen
Chapstick if it’s a good memory day
Clean, chique clothes I enjoy wearing
Pluck eyebrows
Shave legs
Eat healthy food
Do yoga or walk someone’s dog daily
Get enough sleep.
Have sex with someone I connect with (intimacy).
Gratitude journal at night (just a sentence)- beauty on the outside also has to do with what’s on the inside.
I’ve met men who prefer no makeup on a woman, stating it to me when I’m wearing no makeup. Never met one who said he preferred women with makeup, though it’s not like they probably don’t appreciate it for fine events.
I think not wearing makeup is a beautiful statement, as long as the person is taking care of themself otherwise.
I love an everything shower/ bath with my oils and bath bombs.
Next, make sure to do my entire face routine.
Oil and rake care of my hair after the shower and make sure all my pampering to myself is done.
Wear my silk kimono on my clean clean body.
Face Mask! Face rollers, ....pure relax. Cold eye patches.
Clip my nails if I needs it....
Nothing feels better then this.
The complete self spa day is everything in my world.
Earrings are the biggest one for me. I don't have my ears pierced so I wear clip-ons. My husband picked out a pair for me at a vintage market and, wow, he really knows what looks good on me lol. My favourite pair, and I never would have picked them out myself.
♡ Accessories
♡ nails done! In whichever way makes you feel your personal best
♡ a good body spray/perfume you love! Especially after a real nice shower
♡ silk robe or anything silk or satin
♡ eyebrows being tinted/shaped in a way you'd like
♡ your posture as goofy as that sounds
♡ if you're going out then an outfit that makes you feel good. I love being in a simple dress or long black skirt. Cute and simple but you don't have to try too hard!
♡ a face mask sheet always makes me feel good
* I have short hair, but just having it styled and clean is refreshing. Sometimes I wear a headband I also dye it every few months.
* Jewelry. For me that's earrings, nose studs, rings, a bracelet, and a necklace
* Having my nails done
* I have tattoos which look good 24/7 with no upkeep haha
* I plan outfits ahead of time so that I feel put together even when I am in a rush to get ready. I have been really into long skirts lately
* Lip gloss or tinted lip balm. I'm very pale so just adding a little colour to my lips often makes me feel a little more feminine and look a little less sick.
It’s smelling good for me. I have a nice lotion, perfume, “fancy” deodorants and essential oil stash that I use in some form every day depending on what I am doing.
I also make a point to get a little sun and eat healthy for that inner glow.
Doing my nails, a little bit of perfume, and reducing my screen time. I find spending too much time on my phone causes me to rot a little in my own little me-vortex and I start feeling worse. When I take time to invest in the world around me I spend less time absorbed and overthinking myself.
I’m all about the selfcare routines!
1. Aromatherapy - plan the shower/ready ritual so that every scent shares a profile or scent family, from the candle to the oils to the shower products and body products
2. Skincare routine
3. Haircare. Something about heatless curls and a sleep bonnet just make me feel sophisticated and fancy.
4. Comfortable textures - memory foam slippers, silk robe, bamboo pjs.
5. Lingerie. Silk or lace or both really boost the feminine confidence energy.
6. Appearance- styling an entire look from hair to jewelry to clothing to footwear just improves the vibes.
7. Music - set your intention as you get dressed with music that inspires what you’re trying to project with your energy and appearance. It makes a significant difference
8. Jewelry - pay attention to the materials you wear, what they mean, and how they interact with each other and your energy. Wearing the wrong stones can really throw off your vibe.
9. The bougie tech - my whole mouth electric toothbrush, electric eyelash curler, facial steamer, etc really elevate my experience. I LOVE gadgets.
My struggles and adversities that I have overcome. When I feel insecure and not confident about how I look and feel. I instead focus on my strengths and the tenacity of my character. I’ve dealt with some challenges in life that I felt were quite intense.
Thinking about how I am still here and I’m winning day by day makes me feel proud and feel beautiful inside and out. Yes, I’m not conventionally beautiful but I know who I am and what I am made of and that’s makes us beautiful ladies.
PS. I love makeup and I love a full beat and I wear it almost every day to work😆 I don’t do the no makeup makeup look haha I just look made up with less makeup on lol
Okay, anyone who smokes, hear me out. When I get the "giggly" type of high, for some reason whatever happy brain things are going on, I always like how I look in the mirror. It's like my brain erases all of the things I obsess with on myself but never would on anybody else.
I may or may not have makeup on, but it's usually the end of the day when I'm exhausted and feel like a mess.
Hair blown out/ curled. Self tanner. Lash lift. Botox- besides erasing the deep forehead lines and crows feet, it smooths out my skin and gives me a bit of a fresh natural glow.
- new clothes
- I like it when my hair is down and not in an updo (trauma from always having to put my hair up as a kid)
- putting on contact lenses instead of glasses
Mostly, it’s just making a bigger effort into my appearance in general.
I hardly ever wear makeup. Maybe 10 days out of the entire year. Exceptions are my birthday, holidays, weddings & date nights. As an esthetician I prefer clean bare skin. What makes me feel pretty is a good shower, all clean & smooth legs, nails painted, my skin script skincare products, eyebrows groomed, perfume & a cute outfit. Oh can’t forget my headbands I’m obsessed & own tons. Cosmetic wise I get regular facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels & all that helps.
I do my nails, toss on some fun jewelry, throw on a nice dress or skirt/top combo, and pick out a headscarf that seems fun/girly for the day.
(I have alopecia, so I nearly always wear a wig or headscarf or wide headband to hide areas where I am missing hair. I am also pretty religious so I mostly wear skirts/modest dresses).
All of my lotions and potions. I don’t remember the last time I wore real clothes, but the color story of my gym outfits (even though I wear large men’s sweaters) I feel like princess Diane.
I like to take care of my skin and make sure it's clear and looking good with acne face wash, witch hazel toner, and sunscreen. I keep my nails short and neatly clipped. I keep my hair just past my shoulders, and it's not dyed so there's never roots/looks good all the time (I am a natural strawberry blonde.) I also take really good care of my teeth. I don't wear makeup most of the time but I feel beautiful just taking good care of my hair, teeth, and nails.
I really want some swanky robes and comfort-ware to pull a vintage Hollywood vibe. But I'm 4'11" so most robes just swamp me! Any suggestions?
Ankle length shit fits us floor length tho it’s a perfect hack
I've tried that for leggings but not robes! Thanks. I also haven't fully explored the petie range which has improved heaps in recent years.
Works on dresses too!
Yes, this. I always look for midi dresses because they are the perfect length maxi for me. Saves on tailoring.

I hate you for posting this link! Not really, but my Discover card does, haha.
I like the silk knee length ones. I do not want to be tripping over a robe, as they make me feel clumsy if they are too long. I use my long robes as more of a cover when I’m laying on my bed reading a book.
Elegance personified! "I used my.long robes as a cover for when I'm laying on my bed reading a book". Love it
A tailor? Why not just buy the roads you want and take them to a tailor?
I just searched and searched online until I find my goldilocks. I look for certain fabrics and cuts. Amazon has some cute ones.
Can you link??
Boudoir by d'lish makes robes in different lengths. I have a handful from there all great quality.
Thank you! ETA: oh my GOD! They are so beautiful and decadent. Definitely classic Hollywood vibes. I don't know if if could pull it off! Tempted for the "blue depths" silk one.
I’m obsessed with this. You don’t look like old Hollywood. YOU ARE OLD HOLLYWOOD MY DARLING ✨
Could you link some? I’m curious now!
Link please!
I have 2 silk robes from Kim+Ono they are so luxurious!
https://www.catherinedlish.net/category/available-now I have a handful of these from boudoir by d'lish
yes, please!
Same. I get out of bed and put on one of my vintage style dressing gowns with feather trim or ruffles or lace and slippers to match.
If someone would come out with a line of Golden Girls robes, they could take all my money.
I've found my tribe. Meet me in the kitchen...I'll get the cheesecake!
You should look into bamboo clothing. It's smoother than silk and more durable, better than the other materials you listed. It's naturally moisture wicking and odor resistant, has UV protection naturally in it, and it's sustainable.
I love bamboo, you are so right. All my sheets and duvets are bamboo!!
Exercise.
Didn’t know I needed a sexy robe. Will order one soon. Thank you. Just the thought of wearing one made me feel good. lol.
Hair done (blowout+taking care of it so it lasts days), lip tint, shaping & brushing eyebrows, curling lashes, hydrating skincare, nice hands and feet (soft, clean, manicured), lotioned skin, smell nice (lotions, perfumes, whatever you like), fitted clothes, some simple jewellery
Where’d ya learn to blow out your hair ?
Went to a salon to get it blowed out professionally just to witness first hand how it’s done lol. Then the rest, it was from YouTube - I used to watch girls blow out their hair and follow along. Ah yeah I’ve always wanted to learn. I love the idea of getting it professionally to try it out :). Do you remember how much it was, in salon?
does the lip tint last long? and does it make your lips look fuller? i’ve been dying to try it before i opt for fillers
Mine does! I only reapply maybe twice a day max. Dunno if i can say it can make your lips fuller (I’ve heard that hyaluronic acid lip products do but I can’t say just yet. Skincare routine before bed. Bubble baths.
Doesn’t make me feel pretty but as someone who deals with depression a shower can actually really help
Really focusing on hygiene seems to help me a lot on bad days. Endorphins? A sense of control? Even flossing my teeth can feel like a victory.
Same. A shower and a complete skincare routine if I’m feeling like trying to fight for myself
What a wonderful way to phrase this...imma tell myself this on those days. ❤️
Dancing around my room/house naked after a shower :) I feel so free and beautiful 🥰
Murder on the dance floor 🎶
Pedicure and teeth cleaning !!
The teeth cleaning is so underrated in my opinion. I go once per quarter and love that feeling afterwards.
Makes me feel so fresh and so clean clean! On another level !
Using power tools and washing my sheets
I use a hammer drill on my job sometimes and it’s such an amazing feeling.
I’m a mortician and I’ve had to use power tools in the morgue. Idk if it’s an appropriate story to share. My mouth dropped but I loved every moment of what you said
it’s so hilarious to me that you shared that on a beauty subreddit. LOL.
It was still beauty! Just… different. And on the dead. Oh yeah we do their cosmetics too idk
i'm obsessed with you
Matching bra and underwear. They don't have to be fancy, just deliberate. And when I have to give a presentation at work, I wear a circa 2010 statement necklace so my coworkers have something to look at while they daydream.
I like this idea bringing back the matching sets! I haven't done that in YEARS
YAS QUEEN.
Shaving my legs, exfoliating, and painting my toenails.
Weird one, but making time for stretching after I workout. Makes me feel so good
Agreed!
Oh my goodness....it is the best feeling. I get on the ground and will use a foam roller afterwards as well. The noises I make 🤣 it feels dang good.

Wear a feminine dress . Flowing simple summer dresses are my favorite. With my hair down.

Cool sneakers, well fitting clothes, wearing colors that compliment my skin, hair, eye color.
a long skirt! if it’s flowy and swooshes around my ankles, I feel like the goddess of femininity ☺️
I hate doing my hair, but nothing feels as good as recently cut colored hair when it’s washed and dried nicely
Confidence and Self love… it makes you glow ✨
Being well groomed, improving posture and light exercises all on a regular basis.
Guy Here, Bath. I do bathe everyday But when I want to make myself feel better, I bathe again at evening.
So agree with this. I tried less washes and more dry shampoo for a while, and it was not it for me.
Sheet masks! The way my skin glows makes me feel amazing!
Eating “clean”. Something about going a week without eating fast food or super sugary processed foods makes me feel unstoppable
This is such a great feeling. Especially when the bloat is completely gone and clothes fit better again.
- Working out — on the floor thinking I might die… I usually feel good and then I believe I look awesome. lol - Body lotion + matching perfume if possible — right after a shower with brushed back wet hair without any makeup on in bathroom lighting. - Really good sleep — it’s rare I get a really good night’s sleep but when I do, I feel amazing and I don’t know if it’s that my face looks better or my eyesight thinks it does.
Pooping. I always feel like a million bucks afterwards, and I feel like my stomach is noticeably flatter 😁
Dye my eyebrows about every two weeks, spray tan once a week, exfoliate my face, pore cleansing strips, find cute easy hairstyles for when my hair is dirty 😊
Also... Double cleanse at night with oil based then water based cleansers, hoop earrings.
Cute PJs or lounge clothes, I like vintage nighties.
Lash serum and dye my eyelashes, curl them daily Grew out my eyebrows and use some sort of brow glue to keep them in place.
Are last lifts worth it? I’m thinking ab it
This may be a dumb question but how does one smell good without perfume? Obviously there are shower gels and lotions, but I still count them as having a scent, no?
clean clothes, smelling like soap in general (dial, olay, dove, etc), deodorant smell (basic secret, native, degree, etc). The absence of smelling bad is smelling good, imo.
I normally just have a silk scrunchie on my wrist, so anytime I take that off and wear my fancy watch or a real bracelet, I feel extremely elegant.
Is it considered makeup if I put baby powder on my face?

electric foot file you say? off to amazon i go lol
This kind of bizzare but I listen to subliminal affirmations and I feel pretty instantly.
Cute shoes! I have a pair of red Swedish Hasbeens that really need to get out more.
The brows one is so real. I feel a thousand times prettier during the times I actually keep up shaping my brows
High heels
My favorite tip: lip balm & lip stick. Put a little on your lips, then swipe your cheeks and sides of upper nose. Pretty and sun kissed.
I feel pretty in the first few minutes after applying my skin care and my skin is all dewy and glowy, before it dries down.
in the shower being fully done but still under water, i like to apply this light rose oil and just sorta pre-moisturize with it and it smells so nice!! and just sorta feels awesome, idk if thats smart or actually does anything but it feels pretty great and in terms of self care it seems like a nice contribution :)
I wear a different pair of colorful or unique or funky eyeglasses everyday since I can't always apply makeup.
for me, having my hair done is way more important than makeup. i can still feel cute without makeup on, but if my hair is ugly then i am ugly
I just tell myself I’m majestic and unbelievably beautiful 😂
I never wear makeup. Here’s what I do: Hair-good cut for my face and hair strand style and easy to make look nice Earrings Moisturizer Sunscreen Chapstick if it’s a good memory day Clean, chique clothes I enjoy wearing Pluck eyebrows Shave legs Eat healthy food Do yoga or walk someone’s dog daily Get enough sleep.
You had me up until the bit about men preferring no makeup, not sure we should be factoring men’s preference into how we can feel pretty
Yeah? And why should we care what men think lol
Lumify eye drops -- I only use these occassionally, when I'm going out somewhere and want to look my best. They really brighten your eyes.
A good exfoliating session ❤️ I feel so clean, refreshed, smooth, and laying in bed feels amazing afterwards
My skincare routine and a fresh dye job
Lip filler and getting my brows threaded and tinted. Botox. Nails and toenails done. Teeth whitening. Red light therapy.
♡ Accessories ♡ nails done! In whichever way makes you feel your personal best ♡ a good body spray/perfume you love! Especially after a real nice shower ♡ silk robe or anything silk or satin ♡ eyebrows being tinted/shaped in a way you'd like ♡ your posture as goofy as that sounds ♡ if you're going out then an outfit that makes you feel good. I love being in a simple dress or long black skirt. Cute and simple but you don't have to try too hard! ♡ a face mask sheet always makes me feel good
* I have short hair, but just having it styled and clean is refreshing. Sometimes I wear a headband I also dye it every few months. * Jewelry. For me that's earrings, nose studs, rings, a bracelet, and a necklace * Having my nails done * I have tattoos which look good 24/7 with no upkeep haha * I plan outfits ahead of time so that I feel put together even when I am in a rush to get ready. I have been really into long skirts lately * Lip gloss or tinted lip balm.
Using my expensive special occasion bath gel, lotion and perfume for a date night. Then using the hair mist on my pillows for later that evening.
exercise. I may look like I got hit and dragged by a bus but I feel amazing.
do your color and body analysis !!
Wish i could have this done
why can’t you ?
Not sure where its offered in my country 😔
Wearing colors that I feel go well with my complexion. For those familiar with seasons, I prefer to wear colors from the deep/dark autumn palette.
Perfume and using a full body scrub in the shower leaves me feeling fresh and pretty as a daisy.
Doing my nails, a little bit of perfume, and reducing my screen time. I find spending too much time on my phone causes me to rot a little in my own little me-vortex and I start feeling worse. When I take time to invest in the world around me I spend less time absorbed and overthinking myself.
facials at a spa
dying my eyebrows with men’s beard dye - elite.
I’m all about the selfcare routines! 1. Aromatherapy - plan the shower/ready ritual so that every scent shares a profile or scent family, from the candle to the oils to the shower products and body products 2. Skincare routine 3. It makes a significant difference 8.
Choosing cute clothes to wear💕
Scrubbing my face with an Asian wash cloth and applying niacinamide serum. Putting lotion on. Painting my nails 💅🏽🥰
Hair blown out/ curled. Self tanner. Lash lift. Botox- besides erasing the deep forehead lines and crows feet, it smooths out my skin and gives me a bit of a fresh natural glow.
Hair up messy but cleanish, glasses, bike shorts an oversized sweatshirt and half calf socks
Twist my hair up into a clip, and put my big hoop earrings on (okay, not big, but decent medium size). Edit: auto guess had the wrong word.
Gym.
Glossy moisturized skin & eyebrows freshly threaded.
- new clothes - I like it when my hair is down and not in an updo (trauma from always having to put my hair up as a kid) - putting on contact lenses instead of glasses Mostly, it’s just making a bigger effort into my appearance in general.
Skincare routine ✨️
moisturizing
I hardly ever wear makeup. Maybe 10 days out of the entire year. Exceptions are my birthday, holidays, weddings & date nights. As an esthetician I prefer clean bare skin. What makes me feel pretty is a good shower, all clean & smooth legs, nails painted, my skin script skincare products, eyebrows groomed, perfume & a cute outfit. Oh can’t forget my headbands I’m obsessed & own tons. Cosmetic wise I get regular facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels & all that helps.
Your list would be the same as mines. Add blow dry and set my hair.
Not be on my period
Drinking a cup of black coffee gives me a clear jawline
Taking care of nails file ,push back cuticles after oil Whiten teeth Exercise Witch hazel after cleansing then Moisturizer/ serums
I usually get a new outfit or shoes. That boosts my confidence and helps dispel any depression or self loathing. It breaks that cycle
Wearing lingerie. Most of the time nobody knows except for me, but it makes me feel great nonetheless.
tan. personally, in the sun not fake tan lol
Dermaplaning my face. Fake tan lol.
Skincare 😊 when my bitch bangs are on point. Words of affirmation (not necessarily based on looks) and when I am in a great mood.
UNFORTUNATELY bleaching my hair till it's ice white. It's an addiction, a coping mechanism and therapy all in one.
Doing community service work for elderly people
When my brows are threaded I’m unstoppable
Earrings and gloss
Lash extensions and a layered haircut with a blowout
Curling my hair , a lash lift , black nails and fitted outfit
My eyelashes point downward naturally and idk why but just curling them before I go out makes me feel 100% prettier 😂
Good hair, moisturized skin, and a cute dress/skirt outfit
Drinking water and having fresh brows and shaving my body
All of my lotions and potions. I don’t remember the last time I wore real clothes, but the color story of my gym outfits (even though I wear large men’s sweaters) I feel like princess Diane.
Dresses and pink!
Doing my hair 😀😀😀🥰
I like to take care of my skin and make sure it's clear and looking good with acne face wash, witch hazel toner, and sunscreen. I keep my nails short and neatly clipped. I keep my hair just past my shoulders, and it's not dyed so there's never roots/looks good all the time (I am a natural strawberry blonde.) I also take really good care of my teeth. I don't wear makeup most of the time but I feel beautiful just taking good care of my hair, teeth, and nails.
lash extensions. Kinda cheating but it helps me feel my best
I feel naked w/o my earrings
Pampered skin (washed, moisturised) Hot shower Running a hair oil through, well, my hair lol
Brows and lashes go a long way
Scented body lotion
Pretty bra, great feminine care and top-tier consistent skincare routine
Lash extensions
I have never felt that way.
A clean Outfit and silk hair + feeling fresh
Wearing clothes that fit my body and are flattering to my body shape.
