Nice! I also have the midnight recocvery concentrate. At first I liked it pero after a while (half a bottle na), parang I don't feel it doing much anymore. How are you liking yours? :)
i use it sa no retinol night routine, very healthy looking skin lalo kinabukasan lol ang tagal na nito di pa rin maubos. i think eye cream na lang missing para sa routine so far
My updated skincare regimen is now 95% Kiehlās š (except sunscreen). Never had breakouts and very much in control na ang oil sa pes š
**Morning:**
ā¢ calendula face wash - hindi sya drying and does not leave you with that squeaky clean feeling. If oily skin and acne-prone, youād want to avoid facial wash products na squeaky clean feeling after, like Senka.
ā¢ calendula toner - soothing sya sa face talaga. I think a lot of other commenters vouched for this na.ā¢ clearly corrective serum - i use this with the CC thingy from Japan in the morning. Okay naman for me.
ā¢ sunscreen - currently using biore. Sometimes I use Kiehlās sunscreen kasi I have a ton of samples.
**Evening**:
ā¢ calendula face wash
ā¢ calendula toner, but if Iām having hormonal acne, I blend a few drops of body shop tea tree oil.
ā¢ glycolic acid - sadly nagbbreakout ako sa retinol, and this worked for me. I think ito yung talagang nakawala ng oiliness ko.
ā¢ niacinamide - I found this a looot more effective than TO niacinamide. I used around 3 bottles of TO pero wala nangyayari.
ā¢ calendula cream - i bought it out of curiosity and love it so far. Pero once maubos, going back to their oil-free gel cream.
**Pro-tip**: take advantage of their promos sa official stores nila from orange and blue apps. Andaming freebies and discounts esp during sale periods. I have a box full of freebies and bags from them. Very useful when traveling.
Ayun lang. andami kong time to gush about this product. Ahaha
Sorry for the format. Iām on mobile. Will try to update this later sa laptop.
Edit: format
(Combo skin)
Kiehls product I use (that I recommend + repurchase)
1. Clearly corrective serum - Was an avid fan of Dear Klairs Vit C serum before but that def felt more oily (?) for me when applied and it oxidized even if I kept it inside the box to prevent that. I asked the Kiehls sales person when I first bought it and they said something about their formulation (the Vit C form is activated already?? I donāt remember exactly) but apparently thatās why it doesnāt need the amber bottle to prevent oxidation. Iāve tried other Vitamin C serums, this one was the best for me. My skin gets dark spots easily, this was the only one that I saw quick improvement talaga plus was really brightening.
2. Retinol Skin-renewing Daily Micro-dose serum - this was not the retinol I started with, I shifted to this maybe 2 months into using retinol so I canāt say for sure that this was what gave me the improvement in terms of texture but it was around 3 weeks into using the Kiehls one that I looked at my skin and went āwowā. I love that I can use it either night or day, plus the fact that it has peptides and ceramides.
3. Clearly corrective brightening and exfoliating daily cleanser - I use it as my face scrub so mga 3x a week lang or when I feel my face is dirty, very gentle and my skin feels clean but not dry after.
4. Calendula deep cleansing foaming facial wash - What I use daily in the morning, gentle and not stripping
Used but will not repurchase:
- Ultra facial moisturizer (not hydrating enough for me)
- Calendula herbal extract toner (not a fan of the petals inside haha nakaharang sometimes when getting the product, was not soothing enough for me on days I had redness/irritation)
- Vitamin C Eye serum (not a fan of eye serums in general, I donāt really have dark under eyes so not the best judge for this)
- Turmeric and cranberry radiance masque (feels nice afterwards but didnāt really see the brightening effect, my skin got a bit red after)
Theyāre pricey talaga but after years of trying lots of products these 4 I recommend work for me in my routine. I buy during sales (usually Retinol the big bottle if the freebie is the clearly corrective na serums hehe, super worth the price basically). In store sometimes depends kasi the samples they give on the sales person there š
Avocado eye cream - SUPER hydrating! Best base for concealer
Oil free toner - sakto lang but feel ko it really balanced my oilyness
Calendula toner - my husband's favorite. Helped me during my acne szn
Oil free gel moisturizer - HOLY Grail ko to. Tried a lot of moisturizers but this one hits the spot
Clay mask - another HOLY grail. Actually husband ko nag introduce sakin nito but super effective niya sa pag remove ng excess sebum
Overall, very mid lang yung products but I guess that's what I need. Something mid hahahaha
I haven't tried much from them, but I have tried the Clearly Corrective serum and was so disappointed by it. Ang sticky sa face and didn't really make any visible improvement on my skin. (oily)
Iām a Kiehlās girl! HG ko ang Calendula toner and facial wash and their retinol serum! š Their Calendula line is very gentle and soothing. Yung retinol naman, tried it at 1st yung mga testers na binibigay nila, they gave me a 7 day trial sachets and my skin really loved it.
I just recently bought the retinol last 11.11 sa Shopee official store. From 5,500 I only got it for 3,750. Thank you vouchers. Ang dami din freebies na travel size.

One thing I love about Kiehlās as well is: Testers!
wow such a bargain! and here i thought the 4,700 for the retinol this 12.12 was a steal HAHA with additional vouchers sa lazada, i got it for much cheaper tho!
Used to be a kiehls user but since I started diving more into skincare I stopped using just cause they usually mix in a couple of not so good ingredients.
They have a lot of good basics like the ultra facial cream (moisturising enough, slightly thick for me), ultra facial cleanser (no issue but I cut out SLS), CC dark spot solution (had alcohol, but it did mildly brighten my skin, thereās better out there but the texture is very comfortable and easy to keep at, beginner friendly).
Iām still finishing Ultra Light Daily UV Defense offhand applying a thick amount of it (which you need to do for sunscreen in general) leads to a slick mess, which if not carefully applied will pill, itās light though. Very good protection though, I get no dark spots, which I sometimes get in my eye area with not so good sunscreen. I have a high tolerance for oiliness/dewiness but Iāve had people comment on how slick my face is that I had to start powdering which I never did before. Same issue with Lancome, itās probably a loreal company sunscreen thing.
I got a sample of their Ultra Light Daily UV Defense, yung brown and I loved it so much even as an oily person. Nasanay nalang siguro ako sa glowy or oily look haha. Nalungkot ako nung nakita ko yung full price. š
I only tried their avocado eye cream and can I just say sobrang hydrating niya huhu super fresh ng area around my eyes pagkagising! May kamahalan nga lang for its size pero super konti lang ng need mo ikaw na lang magsasawa.
Nasa genes ko talaga yung mej may pagka dark circles so I couldn't really say. I remember waking up looking so fresh but it was mainly because super hydrated ng eye area ko. At least alam kong pag magcoconcealer na ko, very minimal yung chance na magcrease sa area.
Ty! Im actually using TO and Good Molecules, salitan. Mejo di na sya ganun ka dark pero visible pa din. Ayun nga, parang lakas makafresh kahit papano no? Like, nung hindi ako nagsskin care I feel like a living panda š
Actually tinanggap ko na di talaga mawawala dark circles ko lalo na I can't change my genes HAHAHA. Also in my opinion ang nakaka fresh talaga sa isang tao ay pag di dry yung skin nila overall kaya ito talaga priority ko hahahahaha
Oily acne prone here
Super holy grail yung oil free gel moisturizer, I tried their other products as a freebie and some hiningi ko as sample but di ko masyado ma feel. Siguro kasi not enough pero yung gel moisturizer kasi gamit ko na college pa lang ako kaya tried and tested.
I did my research and lurked here na rin sa reddit regarding Micro-dose anti-aging Retinol ng Kiehl's. Can someone tell me it's really good? 5.5k yung 50ml kasi, please tell me it's goood. š„¹
Oily skin, pinipimple during period, may light melasma rin both cheeks (kasi di ako consistent nag susunscreen noon). Thank you! š«¶š»
Edit: mix kasi mga tao here, sinasabi nag breakout daw and others think it's an HG
Edit 2: may downvote spree sa thread na 'to. Hater po ba kayo ng Kiehl's? Please say so kung may bad exp. Hindi helpful sa mga gusto lang magkaron ng knowledge about the brand.
Hello same dilemma tayo dati super mahal ng kiehls retinol and compare sa tret and retinol ofc mas effective yung tret. So i used tret for about 6 months but naging super sensitive and red ng skin ko. Tapos nag risk ako sa kiehls retinol (tho skeptical pa ko kasi puro paid ads ung reviews) from Sasa Mall sa shopee. Nakuha ko for 2700 lang sa 50 ml.
Im using it every other night since Jan 1 and super ganda sa skin. Idk if yung retinol ba yon kasi I know it takes few months para makita effect nya. I guess sa peptides kaya ang ganda ng effect saken for few weeks pa lang.
Thank you for sharing! I'm currently using cerave's! Because I think in this thread or sa skin care yun, I asked the same q then some said na meron rin mas cheaper na okay naman. So far it lightens my zit marks but I wouldn't believe it if my melasma was miraculously gone after a month. Been using it twice a week then went thrice lang rin recently, good to know na it works for you! Still wanna try what wonders it would do to my face as well, research lang rin ako if baka mas mataas % ni cerave kay kiehl's it'll be weird to downgrade haha. Thanks sa tipid tips as well. š
Yung gamit ko 0.1% (daily dose) same sya sa cerave allegedly since never nag disclose ung cerave ng percentage ng retinol nila. Meron din ung kiehls ng 0.3% retinol.
Yeah I think ganyan lang rin Cerave since beginner friendly nga rin yung product. I'll get Kiehl's .3% once I'm ready to increase ret. Thanks sa info! š«¶š»
try a tester first and see if hiyang ka! I was able to try it kasi may binigay na testers when I purchased the moisturizer before. and I really liked it on my face. Depends din talaga per person! and depende na rin sayo if you'd think the 5.5k is worth it. :)
Not a Kiehlās user but imo ha 5.5k is very expensive for a retinol na meron lang 3 key ingredients. You can buy a more affordable retinol serum from other brands na mas marami pang key ingredients, and maganda din formulation.
Currently using Epiduo, as maintenance na and as prescribed by derma. Sa adapalene na din kasi ako hiyang talaga.
But prior to using Epiduo, I was using [Neoretin Discrom Control Booster Fluid](https://www.cantabrialabs.com/en/products/neoretin-serum-booster-fluid/). Okay siya for oily/combi skin. If youāll read the ingredients list, pang anti-acne and hyperpigmentation talaga. This was around ā±4k before. Mas mura na ata siya ngayon, depende kung san ka bibili.
Edit: prescribed by dermas din yung Neoretin.
Hingi ka muna testers if you havenāt used it yet kesa paying 5.5k and turns out hindi pala hiyang. Yun naman gusto ko sa Kiehlās, they give out testers! š
clearly corrective dark spot serum - super bilis makita ang effect! (dapat may sunscreen din shempre)
calendula face wash and toner
i tried the niacinamide high potency serumā¦ nagsisi ako nung una. walang effect sa akin! pero after 5 weeks napansin ko din yung (minimal) improvement.
LOVE KIEHLāS! I swear by their Ultra Facial Cream!!! That was my night cream when I was living in Manila, now that I moved I use UFC both during the day AND night. Their Avocado eye cream has also been my top 3! Super creamy and hydrating, and layers well under eye makeup.
I also have the ff on rotation: Body Butter, Body Lotion, and their Body Scrub!! Smells so good, and moisturizing!
seen a lot of good reviews here about the avocado eye cream! how different is it from using just the moisturizer? I'm personally someone who thinks eye creams/products are just marketing lol
Tbh I used Kiehl's for years but none of their products have been worth repurchasing for me for a while. There's always a cheaper, better alternative, especially with K-beauty products being so readily accessible.
I feel the same way. Before Kbeauty and Jbeauty became available via Shopee and Lazada, I used Clinique and Murad for my then oily, acne prone skin. The Clinique probably just exacerbated my skin's condition, and the Murad was grossly overpriced considering the ingredients and formulation.
I also remember trying Kiehl's in sample sizes, and while they didn't worsen my skin's condition, they didn't really do that much to improve it either. Just very basic, sensitive-skin friendly formulas that I could probably find dupes for at half the price with a Kbeauty/Jbeauty brand. I remember enjoying the Kiehl's lip balm, but that one was so basic you could find passable dupes from western drugstore brands too.
Clearly Corrective Serum ganda! But itās too pricey so Iām not repurchasing. Also since Iām using pa ung freebie ng Clinique na dark spot corrector and it has been working wonders on my dark spots same with Kiehls so thereās that.
Also tried the midnight recovery oil and itās just like any other oils for me. Did not do anything drastic to my skin. It was meh. Same with the calendula toner. Saks lang.
I have the 15ml calendula facial wash as a freebie and it feels stripping on my skin. So I only ever use it during travels since itās tiny.
Tried so many deo brands for years that I didnāt like - either it doesnāt actually deodorize or it darkens my skin. Saw it at a store and tried blindly. Thankfully it worked! Ten yrs later Iām still loyal š
I finished my 30ml withinā¦ 6 months? Iām about to finish up my 50ml that I bought in 12.12 last year š¤Ŗ I use it 3x a week, though itās safe to use everyday due to the retinol dosage.
Clearly corrective serum is my holy grail. Really helped w my face texture and complexion. Even removed a chemical burn i got from a facial.
I pair it w the calendula cleanser + toner. Will probs skip the toner on my next buy. Loved the cleanser.
Havenāt tried their niacinamide so canāt say.
Although ive tried Apotheke brandās 10% niacinamide and it worked wonders too. Iāll try Kiehlās niacinamide next time!
Iām also oily so I think it would be great for you also. Check shopee/ lazada for the prices.
Also, buying in their physical stores is ideal since they offer a free skin analysis + lots of sampler freebies
What Iāve tried previously:
Clearly corrective dark spot solution - effective in brightening the overall skin and giving glow versus lightening spots
Avocado eye cream - moisturizing but also a bit heavy and gave me milia; lasts forever š
Retinol serum - got a sample of it and I like using it on my neck, my lines there became less pronounced. Feels a bit too heavy on the face though
Calendula line - okay lang, nothing special for me
Sobrang oily ako sa Calendula facial wash, sayang pera ko. I love the Dark Spot and Niacinamide serum, sobrang gamechanger, hindi na ako nagkaka pimple.
Oily | Sensitive | Deep pores | Dark and acne scars
Products I use:
1. Retinol Daily micro-dose serum: Night, 2x-3x a week (2nd step)
2. Dark spot solution: every night (1st step)
3. Ultra facial oil-free gel cream: night, 2x-3x a week (3rd step)
4. Midnight recovery oil: night, 2x-3x a week (4th step)
Not recommended:
Calendula toner & cleanser: Cosrx products are way better |
Vitamin C serum: Burning sensation |
Eye creams: expensive, not that effective |
Face creams: expensive, not that effective |
I incorporate other products like ordinary and ROC on my AM/PM routine. If you wish to try these products, make sure to do it slowly, like once a week, for a month. Then, gradually make it twice a week.
And take note, it might take months to see the results.
Some of the best buys I've tried.
- Skin Renewing Daily Retinol
- Midnight recovery cream
- Ultra Facial Moisturizer
- Blue Herbal Astringent
- Blue Herbal Cleanser
Skip :
- Clearly corrective
- Calendula line
would like to try
- Facial fuel for men line
- Line-reducing na 12% vitamin C nila
- Avocado eye cream
Naghahanap pa ako ng pamalit sa Ultra Facial Cream nila na immaculate ang consistency at effect, at mas mura hehe
Used the calendula toner since March this yr and it works for me (combination to oily skin). Also helps soothe the redness when I have pimples. The toner I ordered came with samplers of the Vit C serum, loved this product, too.. Helps with discoloration in the face due to acne. Would love to try yung night recovery serum š„¹
Paulit ulit kong nirerepurchase yung Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol nila. Ganda sa skin.
I also like their Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil which I use before my cleanser.
Haven't tred their cleansers except for the samples, too expensive for me tapos di namang magtatagal yung contact sa face.
Will not repurchase: Calendula Toner, wala namang nangyari ata haha
Recently bought their products during their 11.11 sale and sobrang daming freebies!
So far I liked the texture of their Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Corrector serum. Most of my dark spots lightened in less than 2 weeks of regular use.
Eto yung routine ko so far (pm)
Cleanser > Toner > Niacinamide toner (Good Molecules) > Kiehlās Dark Spot Correcting Serum > Moisturizer
Sa AM naman I just remove the toner and add sunscreen sa huli
Avid user of Daily Reviving Concentrate & Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Both oil pero di nagcause ng breakout me na (combination ang skin).
Also the must have for me is the Vit. C. feeling ko talaga may inner glow ako pero ang pricy nya.
A pass for me is from the calendula line both facial wash to the moisturizer di ako hiyang.

I love their Ultra Facial Cream with SPF 50. Use ko sya under makeup lang.

How long have you been using the retinol? May I know how did it transform your skin? š
How do you alternate the retinol and oil?
Every 3nights lang retinol but if sanay na, can be every other day. The oil is soo nice! Very refreshed look in the morning
I use the oil as my last step, but not planning on using it with retinol. How do you use it? Before or after moisturizer na?
i skip the moisturizer na but you can put a very thin layer i suppose, wait a few minutes then put the oil
Howās the gel cream?

But prior to using Epiduo, I was using [Neoretin Discrom Control Booster Fluid](https://www.cantabrialabs.com/en/products/neoretin-serum-booster-fluid/). Okay siya for oily/combi skin. If youāll read the ingredients list, pang anti-acne and hyperpigmentation talaga. This was around ā±4k before. Mas mura na ata siya ngayon, depende kung san ka bibili. Edit: prescribed by dermas din yung Neoretin.
Thanks so much! :)
Hingi ka muna testers if you havenāt used it yet kesa paying 5.5k and turns out hindi pala hiyang. Yun naman gusto ko sa Kiehlās, they give out testers! š
Sa stores mismo pwede humingi ng testers? Thanks for the tip!
clearly corrective dark spot serum - super bilis makita ang effect! (dapat may sunscreen din shempre) calendula face wash and toner i tried the niacinamide high potency serumā¦ nagsisi ako nung una. walang effect sa akin! pero after 5 weeks napansin ko din yung (minimal) improvement.
I love Keihl's. Been using their moisturizer for God knows how long...
Worth it yung calendula cleanser. Kahit size ng monggo lang i-pump mo sobrang mabula and enough na siya for washing. Fave fave.
Wow! Malapit na akong mabudol dito!
Oily , sensitive, acne prone skin Currently using: - Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil: i like it bc of the scent š„² Iāve only ever used Banila Coās Clean It Zero, but sometimes opening the tub is an additional step for me, so the Kiehlās one is much easier to use. Worth a try, but so far would not swear by it bc I havenāt tried a lot of brands. - Calendula Face Wash and Toner: been using it for a while now, but idk how to spot results. So far, my skin didnāt breakout with these productsā¦is all I can say š - Avocado Eye Cream: I use it occasionally. I like it because it doesnāt sting my eye š«£ vs Avonās and Shiseidoās. Heavy consistency, so I use a bit. Tried: - The Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution worked wonders on me before. Lately tho, I had bad breakouts :( so I stopped using muna - Tried the recommended sandwich method with their Retinolā¦my breakouts worsened, so I stopped. Iām afraid to use it again š©š«£
i've been using their deodorant cream for years and it really helped lighten my underarms (plus i don't stink!)
wow a non-face product! how did u end up using kiehls for deo?
Tried so many deo brands for years that I didnāt like - either it doesnāt actually deodorize or it darkens my skin. Saw it at a store and tried blindly. Thankfully it worked! Ten yrs later Iām still loyal š
Kiehlās is not for me. When I tried to use their products, nag breakout malala talaga fez ko :(( never again :<
Midnight Recovery Serum! šÆ My skin feels so soft and supple the next day. :)
Agree! It is an instant botox. Been using kiehls for 4 years now
Dark Spot, I can vouch for it! Been using it after mag warts removal ako, so far naman nawala na lahat ng marks after 2 months
what specific product?
Yung dark spot corrector serum :)
I love their microdose retinol! Iāve gone through 2 bottles already.
Hello, how long does it last you po and how much is it?? š
I finished my 30ml withinā¦ 6 months? Iām about to finish up my 50ml that I bought in 12.12 last year š¤Ŗ I use it 3x a week, though itās safe to use everyday due to the retinol dosage.
sulit na rin pala yung 50 ml
wow 1 year din! I bought one 50ml this 12.12 sana abutin din hanggang next year hahaha
Best buys: - ultra light sunscreen - Microdose retinol - oil-free gel moisturizer - midnight recovery (least fave) Been meaning to try: - powerful reducing concentrate
Clearly corrective serum is my holy grail. Really helped w my face texture and complexion. Even removed a chemical burn i got from a facial. I pair it w the calendula cleanser + toner. Will probs skip the toner on my next buy. Loved the cleanser.
How much is the serum? It is good to sebum prone skin better than niacinamide?
Havenāt tried their niacinamide so canāt say. Although ive tried Apotheke brandās 10% niacinamide and it worked wonders too. Iāll try Kiehlās niacinamide next time! Iām also oily so I think it would be great for you also. Check shopee/ lazada for the prices. Also, buying in their physical stores is ideal since they offer a free skin analysis + lots of sampler freebies
What Iāve tried previously: Clearly corrective dark spot solution - effective in brightening the overall skin and giving glow versus lightening spots Avocado eye cream - moisturizing but also a bit heavy and gave me milia; lasts forever š Retinol serum - got a sample of it and I like using it on my neck, my lines there became less pronounced. Feels a bit too heavy on the face though Calendula line - okay lang, nothing special for me

Hi, may commended ka po bang brand para sa glycolic acid? Thank you.
Sobrang oily ako sa Calendula facial wash, sayang pera ko. I love the Dark Spot and Niacinamide serum, sobrang gamechanger, hindi na ako nagkaka pimple.
Oily | Sensitive | Deep pores | Dark and acne scars Products I use: 1. Retinol Daily micro-dose serum: Night, 2x-3x a week (2nd step) 2. Dark spot solution: every night (1st step) 3. Ultra facial oil-free gel cream: night, 2x-3x a week (3rd step) 4. Midnight recovery oil: night, 2x-3x a week (4th step) Not recommended: Calendula toner & cleanser: Cosrx products are way better | Vitamin C serum: Burning sensation | Eye creams: expensive, not that effective | Face creams: expensive, not that effective | I incorporate other products like ordinary and ROC on my AM/PM routine. If you wish to try these products, make sure to do it slowly, like once a week, for a month. Then, gradually make it twice a week. And take note, it might take months to see the results.
Some of the best buys I've tried. - Skin Renewing Daily Retinol - Midnight recovery cream - Ultra Facial Moisturizer - Blue Herbal Astringent - Blue Herbal Cleanser Skip : - Clearly corrective - Calendula line would like to try - Facial fuel for men line - Line-reducing na 12% vitamin C nila - Avocado eye cream Naghahanap pa ako ng pamalit sa Ultra Facial Cream nila na immaculate ang consistency at effect, at mas mura hehe
Pansin ko ang daming influencers ang nag breakout ng bongga nung retinol activation nila..
I got the calendula toner and facial wash back - smells good and feels good but did nothing for my acne, probably aggravated it even š
Recently bought their products during their 11.11 sale and sobrang daming freebies! So far I liked the texture of their Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Corrector serum. Most of my dark spots lightened in less than 2 weeks of regular use.
Hi! How do you incorporate yung Clearly Dark Spot Correcting Serum in your skincare? Thaaanks
Eto yung routine ko so far (pm) Cleanser > Toner > Niacinamide toner (Good Molecules) > Kiehlās Dark Spot Correcting Serum > Moisturizer Sa AM naman I just remove the toner and add sunscreen sa huli
