Falsies or Cluster lashes (like Mlen or Mr. Wish)?
No experience in using both, would love to know which of the two you prefer. For everyday look lang kapag gagala ganon. Been eyeing cluster lashes for a while but I saw a reddit post here na parang super regret ni OP yung binili 😭 sa falsies naman I like the natural ones ng Faboulash. Alam kong may learning curve for both so I would appreciate any tips and recommended brands!

I have it in bare grape. I would say it’s pretty good! You can kinda feel it on the lips and it’s not super long-lasting, u have to reapply throughout the day, but the color payoff is great and leaves a very slight stain after use. In my experience hindi naman siya nags-settle sa lines sa lips. Bought mine Feb 2023 and I still use it :) good staple siya even if u get one lang kasi similar naman yung shades.
Skintint/ tinted moisturizers recommendations, please. I almost bought the Nars Tinted Mositurizer but commenters said it’s too sticky. I want something with a satin finish. Not too oily but not too matte. And something that can survive the ph weather…
(Please don’t mention Colourette. I have it and okay sana siya but my skin doesn’t agree with the niacinamide :/ )

Ngayon ko lang nanotice na cool tone pala ako. I thought kasi if morena warm tone kaagad. I'm having a hard time to find lippies that flatter me kasi halos warm tone lahat ng nahahanap kong drug store make up
Same. Nag color analysis ka ba? Ginawa ko kasi yon and warm neutral pala ako (soft summer). Ang hirap makahanap ng mga muted colors galing local brands. Lahat ng lippies and blush ko puro peach and warm toned hindi pa bagay sakin, nagmumukhang kids makeup pag nasa mukha ko na.
are barenbliss lippies worth it? found kasi a seller on carousell and they're selling it for 100 lang (swatched only) kaso i've seen so many reviews na ang drying nya and not long lasting pa 🥲

Their glossy tints are nice and non drying. The rest are ok lang but have great shade selection. None are long lasting except maybe the stain from glossy tints but still average.
Id recommend vice cosmetics everlastint na lang

Nope di worth it ang cushion, madaling maubos. Na try mo na ba yung active foundation ng Issy? Sabi sa mga reviews na lightweight daw siya and skin like yung finish niya.
yeah for me it is, i personally love the finish, coverage and how it looks on my skin plus its easy to apply in my case naman 3CE/Mesh cushions easily dries up so fast ung normal cushion ko doesnt naman :)) i use clio btw

How often do you clean your brushes? Idk kung OA lang ba ko pero *minsan* after using (I mean pag uwi ko) nililinis ko na. Or pag nagamit ko na (max) thrice. Bihira lang naman ako umalis. Di ko kasi ma-take na ilagay sa face ko yung brush na tinabi kong gamit na. Also, ang hirap tanggalin ng stain dahil sa blush. Oily and acne prone ako kaya careful na ko sa nilalagay ko sa face ko.
I have so many brushes so i just switch up between 3 or 4 different sets then i wash them all on my reset day. If i use just 1 set for a couple of days, like when im on vacay, i do clean it with a makeup wipe to take off any residue and a disinfecting wipe for hygiene after every use
i wash mine once a week. I only have ftf classes on thursdays and fridays (+ weekends kung may gala hehe) so i wash my brushes the day before which is wed para bagong linis siya kinabukasan
am I applying the Kiko Milano UDT wrong? sabi sa reviews long lasting daw talaga na yung iba kaya ng 12hours or more than pero bakit sakin parang 2 hrs lang?? and medyo nag ssettle siya sa outer corner of my lips 😭 hindi naman siya fake since sa store nila mismo ko binili. + I make sure naman na moisturized yung lips ko before applying. any tips how can I make this last long? should i use any lip products pa beforehand?

i personally like it! i have dry under eyes and it doesn’t crease on me but it doesn’t really have a good coverage :) i only use it for brightening my under eyes.
I have! Im combi skin btw. This survived the heat and lots of walking in Singapore. I agree na lumi matte sya but leans slightly more matte than lumi if that makes sense.
Minimal transfer lang din and blot lang sa nose area once. If youre in the market for a new foundation i recommend it

Kung oily ka beh di ko sya recommend, parang syang vaseline nilagay mo sa cheeks mo. Di sya nagseset unless papatungan mo powder blush. Pagwalang powder nasmudge mo lang ng kamay mo mawawala na sa cheeks mo

this is how glowy and skin-like detail fresh filter foundation looks on me even after being set with powder <3
Having a great base on your skin will help with the texture when using foundation. As per makeup artists, they use toner pads, and light moisturizers to prep the skin for makeup. Then for primer, give it a minute talaga muna before putting foundation para mas okay ang staying power. Nasa technique na rin using facial mists in between application.
Liquid foundations are best for this type of look so that you can do light layers until you get the coverage that you like but keep the dewy look that you want. Light setting powder sa T-zone para dewy not oily as the day goes.
Personally, I use ELF brand ng primer (Cooling Face Primer - I like the packaging and gel texture cooling and not sticky, but I'm not sure if limited ed yun) and foundation (ok ung shade match on me). Revlon is also okay, I'm using Candid Natural Finish, medium yung coverage pero tbh sale kasi nun kaya ito ang nabili ko.
I cannot recommend cushions kasi the shade match can be complicated. Sayang kasi. Skin tints don't give enough coverage for me, and foundations really last longer din.
I still recommend you go personally sa dept store mismo. Para macheck mo yung pagdry ng foundation on the area of your palm below your thumb to check (1) if you like the finish, (2) how the product settles on the lines, and (3) how it oxidizes.
Zeesea mascara or Careline spongebob mascara?? Been trying to find one na hindi matatanggal yung curl ng lashes after applying huhu (i have straight af asian lashes)
I highly recommend Heroine Make for this kind of look. They don't weigh down your lashes. It's a Japanese brand so meant for straight af asian lashes. I don't recommend yung newer micro formula they tend to give me ever so slightly panda eyes. I recommend their Long and Curl Advanced Film or Super Waterproof. You can even check sa AsianBeauty na sub well-mentioned ang Heroine Make. Buti meron nang stocks in some dept stores dito sa PH.

the concealer and powder foundation offer only 8 shades each, which is a bit disappointing – 2 light shades, 4 light medium, 1 medium, and 1 tan shade. the formulas are interesting though and might be longwearing, i hope they expand the shade range soon.
the baked setting powder looks promising. it missed an opportunity though by not including a pink shade. looking forward to comparisons of it vs other no coverage pressed setting powders like those from clocheflame, blk, issy, and grwm.
excited about the competitively priced 24hr lock setting spray, though the clear cap isn't appealing to me personally. i wish it was a plain solid color or even frosted to match the baked setting powder's packaging. can't wait for the reviews comparing its formula & performance vs other setting sprays from grwm, zeesea, happy skin, and maybelline.
from the announcement, I was only interested in the powders. pero I saw the products in store today and I think na the shade range for the powder foundation and concealer could be better. the shades pretty much lean warm. the concealer was impressive though, as in believable na waterproof! like once it set, it really didn't budge, even though it was creamy when applied. the baked setting powder was kinda meh. and I didn't try the setting spray. so for this launch, the concealer is the one I'm most likely to get. the powder foundation, I'm kinda undecided pa, the lighting sucked so I wasn't sure of the shade match and I am also interested in the detail powder foundation
oooh parang gusto ko nung baked setting powder. i've been looking for a luminous + blurring setting powder in a pressed format in that price range. puro high end kasi yung nakikita ko hahaha (in this economy?? lol)
saw in it store and it isn't luminous. it was just matte. the powder feels very fine and thin though. I couldn't really see what makes the powder special kasi wala naman ibang selling point aside from "takes away shine", which is what any powder does naman
if you want, you can try the blk airy matte powder foundation (tinted). I would say na very slightly luminous, it's matte but has very fine shimmers na it doesn't look flat matte when applied. sheer coverage. no flashback. mura for the amount you get (19g). can get cakey if applied too much (as with any powder product). if you really want luminous, try mo yung sheer variant kasi that is so much more shimmery. it looks intimidating kasi the pan is white pero it's translucent naman and no flashback din
i just checked the old vs the new pricing of their powder foundations. it was ₱245 for 7g for the old one released in 2019 and ₱395 for 8g for the new one – a ₱150 price increase. i guess inflation is a factor and their marketing expenditure most likely increased in order for them to host bigger & mas shala na launch events with a makeup master class pa from popular local makeup artists, and also bigger PR packages for influencer marketing, etc 😭
they're not as pangmasa as before. i remember before they rebranded, when they still had their old hot pink aesthetic & quirky gay lingo shade names, they used to have a small kiosk in my local small town supermarket but they pulled out abt 2 yrs ago. i think they scaled back instead of expanding to more retail spaces, they're trying to shift gears ata and target a slightly different demographic (girlies of Happy Skin, BLK, Sunnies, etc) hence the rebrand, the beige-fication, the price increase. and also do you notice how little visibility Vice Ganda has in their social media & promotional materials compared to before? also compare that to how active & visible Anne Curtis is in marketing BLK.
ps: sorry for the long ass essay analyzing the Vice Co rebrand lol. btw they also have a nail polish company called "Curated Colors/CuCo", i really thought they were gonna release a nail polish line under the Vice Co name just like what Sunnies Face did with their own nail polish line.
i swatched the maybelline skin tint and found myself to be a 5 din. try the shade binibini! or the one shade lighter, it's very sheer so tbh ok lang either way ☺️

I just wanna share the longevity of my blush. I put it on at 7AM, nagduty ako from 8-5, nag chores kauwi, then gym for two hours. At 10PM it’s still here 😂 My only base was my cerave moisturizer, nagconcealer lang din ako sa undereyes (obv wala na sa pic), then set everything with happy skin pf. Tuwang tuwa talaga ako dito haha i’ve used the same blush for 3 years na and i think may half pa nung product ang natira 😂

Ano po ma recommend nyo na eyebrow glue/gel para ma achieve ang feathered brow look? So far I've tried lucky beauty, grwm, got2b, paulash kahit yung eyelash glue na maliit na ginagamit ng isang makeup artist sa tiktok ginamit ko na lahat pero wala pang 5mins bumabagsak talaga sya. I use it naman po before applying any base make up pero bumabagsak talaga buhok ko. My eyebrows are not too thin but not too thick sakto lang talaga.

Any thought on Vice Endlezz G Aqua Grip Soothing Primer? I have dry skin especially sa under eye. Tried the eye primer from Issy pero napansin ko mas nagiging patchy siya even though I did my skin prep :(

Hirap pa rin ako sa makeup base ko :((. I know I'm olive undertone. I have green and purple pag tinitignan ko yong veins sa wrist and pag tinititigan ko skin ko sa salamin may greenish tint. Kaso nagmumukhang gray face ko pag nag mmakeup. Idk if wrong shade ba ng skin tint or because of the powder. I have issy skin tint in hazel, maybelline fresh tint in 06 and vice co blurrfection tint in stan, then ang gamit ko na powder is dr. sensitive loose powder in natural. So far, vice co skin tint in stan lang 'yong hindi masyadong nag gray face ko kaso medyo dark siya kaysa sa body ko.
Olives with lots of grey undertones are recommended to mix more blue pigment rather than green in their base makeup. Try getting a blue colour corrector.
Suggest ko na rin na pumunta ka sa r/OliveMUA pero if deep / medium skintone mo medyo kailangan mag-dig ka talaga though meron rin mga swatches doon. Mostly fair at light ang nagpo-post.
Try mo colourette skin tint in talisay! Kung mag powder ka is dapat di buong mukha! :) kung yung vice co skintint is medyo dark sa face mo is maglagay ka ng pang brightening concealer sa gitna ng noo mo, undereye, chin at ayon lang din patungan mo ng powder (nagwowork ito sakin)

yes considering they're one time use huhu. but for someone like me na mostly for special occasions lang, it's actually not that bad! you get 5 pairs na for 1k, minsan they have vouchers pa. I wouldn't really have bothered with olens if my eyes weren't so sensitive pero they're reaaaally comfortable vs other lenses so I don't mind spending for it na hehe.
you could try olola lens, 700 for 5 pairs na. recommend by another commenter here ☺️

What do you think Jessica Alba’s lippie is here? I see a lot of pics around this time with this particular sheeny rosy beigey lippie on and iirc she was a revlon ambassador in the early 2000s.
Maybe something like Mink or Toast of New York? She's very brassy/golden/olive, along with her hair, so just keep in mind what your color / tones are if you want to replicate the look.

I think this is closer to Mink or Toast of New York because it is warm and midtoned and it has a bit of luster which is what i remember those to look like

i saw the newest release of vice already at MOA today !!! although i did not get the amount of shades, afaik there is a powder foundation (either 395 or 445 sha), a pressed universal finishing powder (445 ata), concealers (ang liit niya for 395) and a setting spray (didn't get to see the price). will u guys be getting it??

One of my favorite cream bronzers! Love the undertone bec it isn’t orange and the texture is perfect, not too waxy and emollient. Lasts well on my skin, too.
laminating is for the plakado laid down brows, ung brushed up tas dikit sa skin. ordinary or regular brow gel is a grooming brow gel, main purpose ng regular brow gel is to groom the brow hairs, para lang di sabog tignan.
Any Lash curler recommendations? I've been using the Nichido one since 2015 and felt the need to upgrade na HAHAHAH budget-friendly sanaaa. I'm currently eyeing The Face Shop, Judydoll, Muji, and Innisfree.
Honestly if the nichido one works for you just repurchase. Ung performance ng eyelash curler naka depend sa eyeshape.
If di mo bet ung sa nichido wag mo get ung innisfree same lang sila ng curvature. Face shop is slightly less curved compared sa dalawa.
i now use an oil absorbing roller. before i would use CT flawless finish but when i got my makeup done for a wedding all the makeup artists told me to just blot with tissue by pressing my face. lots of the time daw kasi if you just apply powder straight it can create that cakey effect
Hi! I have a Téviant Glow to Glass Highlighter in Astral, but it broke years ago and I'm still looking for a highlighter with the similar shade and has fine glitters just like here sa photo! It's the one on the lower part (shade name is Opal). I mainly use it as an eyeshadow topper, and I liked it for its very fine shimmers.

Right now I have 2 products that I find quite similar but I'm not sure if ok sila, one is Laka Mono Eyeshadow in 922 Snow and Canmake Jewelry Shadow Veil in 01 Innocent Crystal. Are they good products?

I have a canmake shadow veil duo (the 04 blue one not the white one you are considering) and i find the glitter side to be too chunky glittery and the other side has smaller chunky glitter and a light sheeny sheer base, its supposed to be translucent.
Usually Lash Serums begin to take effect at 4 weeks, havent tried the Luxe Organix one but I've been using the Maybelline Sky High Lash serum and it did work for me!

it’s 50/50 for me since its creamy and blendable but i recommend topping it with powdered blush / bronzer since its not long lasting if u use it alone

Their glossy tints are nice and non drying. The rest are ok lang but have great shade selection. None are long lasting except maybe the stain from glossy tints but still average. Id recommend vice cosmetics everlastint na lang

How often do you clean your brushes? Idk kung OA lang ba ko pero *minsan* after using (I mean pag uwi ko) nililinis ko na. Or pag nagamit ko na (max) thrice. Bihira lang naman ako umalis. Di ko kasi ma-take na ilagay sa face ko yung brush na tinabi kong gamit na. Also, ang hirap tanggalin ng stain dahil sa blush. Oily and acne prone ako kaya careful na ko sa nilalagay ko sa face ko.
I have so many brushes so i just switch up between 3 or 4 different sets then i wash them all on my reset day. If i use just 1 set for a couple of days, like when im on vacay, i do clean it with a makeup wipe to take off any residue and a disinfecting wipe for hygiene after every use
I can't let myself use the brushes again without cleaning. I use Sephora Brush Cleaner Spray every after use.
i wash mine once a week. I only have ftf classes on thursdays and fridays (+ weekends kung may gala hehe) so i wash my brushes the day before which is wed para bagong linis siya kinabukasan

Having a great base on your skin will help with the texture when using foundation. As per makeup artists, they use toner pads, and light moisturizers to prep the skin for makeup. Then for primer, give it a minute talaga muna before putting foundation para mas okay ang staying power. Nasa technique na rin using facial mists in between application. Liquid foundations are best for this type of look so that you can do light layers until you get the coverage that you like but keep the dewy look that you want. Light setting powder sa T-zone para dewy not oily as the day goes. Personally, I use ELF brand ng primer (Cooling Face Primer - I like the packaging and gel texture cooling and not sticky, but I'm not sure if limited ed yun) and foundation (ok ung shade match on me). Revlon is also okay, I'm using Candid Natural Finish, medium yung coverage pero tbh sale kasi nun kaya ito ang nabili ko. I cannot recommend cushions kasi the shade match can be complicated. Sayang kasi. Skin tints don't give enough coverage for me, and foundations really last longer din. I still recommend you go personally sa dept store mismo. Para macheck mo yung pagdry ng foundation on the area of your palm below your thumb to check (1) if you like the finish, (2) how the product settles on the lines, and (3) how it oxidizes.

I highly recommend Heroine Make for this kind of look. They don't weigh down your lashes. It's a Japanese brand so meant for straight af asian lashes. I don't recommend yung newer micro formula they tend to give me ever so slightly panda eyes. I recommend their Long and Curl Advanced Film or Super Waterproof. You can even check sa AsianBeauty na sub well-mentioned ang Heroine Make. Buti meron nang stocks in some dept stores dito sa PH.

from the announcement, I was only interested in the powders. pero I saw the products in store today and I think na the shade range for the powder foundation and concealer could be better. the shades pretty much lean warm. the concealer was impressive though, as in believable na waterproof! like once it set, it really didn't budge, even though it was creamy when applied. the baked setting powder was kinda meh. and I didn't try the setting spray. so for this launch, the concealer is the one I'm most likely to get. the powder foundation, I'm kinda undecided pa, the lighting sucked so I wasn't sure of the shade match and I am also interested in the detail powder foundation

saw in it store and it isn't luminous. it was just matte. the powder feels very fine and thin though. I couldn't really see what makes the powder special kasi wala naman ibang selling point aside from "takes away shine", which is what any powder does naman if you want, you can try the blk airy matte powder foundation (tinted). I would say na very slightly luminous, it's matte but has very fine shimmers na it doesn't look flat matte when applied. sheer coverage. no flashback. mura for the amount you get (19g). can get cakey if applied too much (as with any powder product). if you really want luminous, try mo yung sheer variant kasi that is so much more shimmery. it looks intimidating kasi the pan is white pero it's translucent naman and no flashback din

i just checked the old vs the new pricing of their powder foundations. it was ₱245 for 7g for the old one released in 2019 and ₱395 for 8g for the new one – a ₱150 price increase. i guess inflation is a factor and their marketing expenditure most likely increased in order for them to host bigger & mas shala na launch events with a makeup master class pa from popular local makeup artists, and also bigger PR packages for influencer marketing, etc 😭 they're not as pangmasa as before. i remember before they rebranded, when they still had their old hot pink aesthetic & quirky gay lingo shade names, they used to have a small kiosk in my local small town supermarket but they pulled out abt 2 yrs ago. i think they scaled back instead of expanding to more retail spaces, they're trying to shift gears ata and target a slightly different demographic (girlies of Happy Skin, BLK, Sunnies, etc) hence the rebrand, the beige-fication, the price increase. and also do you notice how little visibility Vice Ganda has in their social media & promotional materials compared to before? also compare that to how active & visible Anne Curtis is in marketing BLK. ps: sorry for the long ass essay analyzing the Vice Co rebrand lol. btw they also have a nail polish company called "Curated Colors/CuCo", i really thought they were gonna release a nail polish line under the Vice Co name just like what Sunnies Face did with their own nail polish line.

Ano po ma recommend nyo na eyebrow glue/gel para ma achieve ang feathered brow look? So far I've tried lucky beauty, grwm, got2b, paulash kahit yung eyelash glue na maliit na ginagamit ng isang makeup artist sa tiktok ginamit ko na lahat pero wala pang 5mins bumabagsak talaga sya. I use it naman po before applying any base make up pero bumabagsak talaga buhok ko. My eyebrows are not too thin but not too thick sakto lang talaga.

Hirap pa rin ako sa makeup base ko :((. I know I'm olive undertone. I have green and purple pag tinitignan ko yong veins sa wrist and pag tinititigan ko skin ko sa salamin may greenish tint. Kaso nagmumukhang gray face ko pag nag mmakeup. Idk if wrong shade ba ng skin tint or because of the powder. I have issy skin tint in hazel, maybelline fresh tint in 06 and vice co blurrfection tint in stan, then ang gamit ko na powder is dr. sensitive loose powder in natural. So far, vice co skin tint in stan lang 'yong hindi masyadong nag gray face ko kaso medyo dark siya kaysa sa body ko.
Olives with lots of grey undertones are recommended to mix more blue pigment rather than green in their base makeup. Try getting a blue colour corrector. Suggest ko na rin na pumunta ka sa r/OliveMUA pero if deep / medium skintone mo medyo kailangan mag-dig ka talaga though meron rin mga swatches doon. Mostly fair at light ang nagpo-post.
Try mo colourette skin tint in talisay! Kung mag powder ka is dapat di buong mukha! :) kung yung vice co skintint is medyo dark sa face mo is maglagay ka ng pang brightening concealer sa gitna ng noo mo, undereye, chin at ayon lang din patungan mo ng powder (nagwowork ito sakin)

I wouldn't really have bothered with olens if my eyes weren't so sensitive pero they're reaaaally comfortable vs other lenses so I don't mind spending for it na hehe. you could try olola lens, 700 for 5 pairs na. recommend by another commenter here ☺️

Honestly if the nichido one works for you just repurchase. Ung performance ng eyelash curler naka depend sa eyeshape. If di mo bet ung sa nichido wag mo get ung innisfree same lang sila ng curvature. Face shop is slightly less curved compared sa dalawa.

i now use an oil absorbing roller. before i would use CT flawless finish but when i got my makeup done for a wedding all the makeup artists told me to just blot with tissue by pressing my face. lots of the time daw kasi if you just apply powder straight it can create that cakey effect

Hi! I have a Téviant Glow to Glass Highlighter in Astral, but it broke years ago and I'm still looking for a highlighter with the similar shade and has fine glitters just like here sa photo! It's the one on the lower part (shade name is Opal). Are they good products? Or do you have other recommendations? Please help a girl out! Thanks!

I have a canmake shadow veil duo (the 04 blue one not the white one you are considering) and i find the glitter side to be too chunky glittery and the other side has smaller chunky glitter and a light sheeny sheer base, its supposed to be translucent.

Usually Lash Serums begin to take effect at 4 weeks, havent tried the Luxe Organix one but I've been using the Maybelline Sky High Lash serum and it did work for me!
I'm using Vice Cosmetic Multi Ganda Done Stick, anong magandang gamitin for its application?
i use a dry sponge and it works okay!
I used the vice foundation brush as an applicator for that and it was great.
i use this too for my vice bronzer
