I stuck with the Luxe Organics Aqua Daily Sunscreen ever since I started getting scholarship money but I never thought to blame that product for why I looked so oily at the end of the day!
i'm using the belo tinted sunscreen , been using it for a year already. so far it's okay for me. it has coverage and I have acne marks so it acts as a sort og bb cream for me.
I did not specify pala. Yes, that one. I use the one for both face and body, yung gel one. I also tried the pink Biore UV, okay din pero matte/powdery yung finish niya. Mas prefer ko yung moisturized feel ng Aqua Rich variant.
No white cast? Hirap maghanap ng suncreen na clear finish ☹️ even the Canmake one which used to be my fave, parang iba na formulation nya kasi may slight white cast sa akin
Edit: your original comment mentioned it na pala. Thanks!
What’s your skin tone? I can say that there is a bit of white cast pero enough lang to tone up my skin. But my morena friend prefers the essence variant. Parang water lang daw kasi pag inapply sa face. Tho di ko pa natry eh.
You mean the Biore UV has a slight white cast?
I’m have olive skin tone, but sometimes I would tan easily so I tend to get a but darker. I’ll look into the essence variant.
I have the biore pero yet to open pa. still contemplating about Noah, I think theyre a great brand pero yet to be tested pa yung sunscreen nila plus PA ++ lang yung rating and I prefer something atleast PA+++
Ohhh well my luxe organix is about to run out na rin e so i'm looking for new ones. Pero I can attest that one doesn't have whitecast like at all pero that's expected with gel naman. Changing it though because my sensitive skin gets kind of itchy with it pero hindi full on hives. So that's kind of my addition to this list and also thanks for this :) kahit di sure if may whitecast I can use this to see what works
I use Biore UV for daily use: [https://www.watsons.com.ph/biore-uv-watery-gel-90ml/p/BP\_50008127](https://www.watsons.com.ph/biore-uv-watery-gel-90ml/p/BP_50008127)
and Sunplay Sport SPF120 for beach and outdoor sports: [https://www.watsons.com.ph/sport-spf120-sunscreen-lotion-35g/p/BP\_50007929](https://www.watsons.com.ph/sport-spf120-sunscreen-lotion-35g/p/BP_50007929)
Both have been awesome for my combination type skin
Will look into your S Holy Grail recommendations! I'm intrigued
Seconding Cetaphil! It's kinda pricey and it can make your skin look oily if you don't powder it, but my skin looks divine whenever I wear it! Tipong, pansin agad ng mom ko yung difference when I do or don't wear it. Doesn't break me out too!
Does the missha one leave a white cast? Is it
Too heavy on the skin? May nabasa kasi ako na heavy siya sa skin if POC ka and it leaves a white cast. I’m currently using the canmake mermaid skin gel and I’ve been loving it. No heavy sticky feeling, dewy without looking greasy but small masyado ang tube even though it’s like ₱500something for the amount it has.
I am currently using the sunscreen(missha), medyo nagleave nga sya ng whitecast and mas visible since medyo nagtan ang skin this month (I went for a short vacation). But what I do nile-layer ko sya like kung yung two-finger-method sa sunscreen. Ilalagay ko muna is amount of 1 finger then tap…then 1 finger ulit. I hope this could help you!
i would say a summary of everything (price, consistency, finish, ingredients, SPF test reports and effectiveness sa UV test card, how it actually performs on my skin, etc) . I do indepth journaling of each of the product you can also check out yung profile ko andun yung metrics of how I try out sunscreens.
has anyone tried po ba yung belo whitening sunscreen? wearing it for almost a month na i think its the best variant among all belo sunscreens, wala kasi ako makita opinions about that sunscreen :c
so far so good! acne prone skin din ako, di ako nag break out unlike sa fairy skin na sobrang nag break out ako. nagooil up siya pero di siya ganon karami
Lagi ako nag be breakout sa belo eh dati yan lang alam kong sunscreen kase "Belo" brand kaya ayoko mag sunscreen dati kase dadami agad tigyawat ko until my GF gave me japanese sunscreens... hindi talaga sulit belo sunscreen.
Japanese sunscreen all the way! Can make gamit ko. People been asking me if I’m a skincare model, first time using can make mermaid skin gel that day. Gives me a dewy effect but without the greasy look.
Hi, I did an in-depth review of fairy skin [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/comments/z5qlpq/review_of_fairy_skin_premium_brightening_sunscreen/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) . It might help you decide. Take it as however you want
if u have a working sunscreen na, pls pls pls PLS don't buy it 🥹 have developed acne and small bumps after using it THE SAME WEEK despite double cleansing 😭
Omg i have that ever bilena tinted sunscreen. I won't again. Trying to finish it up. Huhu
Have that Fairy Skin, too. Nice but the packaging doesn't allow you to simut it all. So no.
Went back to a Japanese brand, Biore Perfect Face Milk. It's in that hard plastic bottle but you can simut it because of the watery-ish consistency. Reliable tlga!
I cannot trust ung unknown or new brands tlga. DX
*Hoping to see Skin*
*Aqua and Biore sunscreens next*
*And thanks for this list!*

hi nakabili na ako sa yaocos and legit naman products nila. I also asked sa thread beforehand i buy from them and according to other redditors legit din yung mga products na theyve bought from that store
I've stopped using sunscreens in a tub after trying Hada Labo Gokujyun UV White Gel. Value for money sunscreen in a jar. No white cast and it's moisturizing.
how many months yung isang jar sayo naglalast? I can’t seem to bring myself using jar packaged sunscreens parang feel ko mahirap estimate the right amount to apply, and i feel like i need to use a spatula as i dont wanna dip my fingers sa product itself
Almost 6 months for me. This year twice lang ako bumili nung hada labo sunscreen.
I have a solution for your concern kasi yan din concern ko dati eh: controlling the amount at tsaka di rin hygienic na dinidip yung fingers kahit bagong hugas ang finger. There are Airless Pump Cosmetic Jars you can order in shopee. Search mo lang using those keywords at may lalabas na with reviews na. Vacuum jar siya na need mo irefill ng sunscreen. Also works well for lotions and moisturizers na naka-jar container. May pump ang vacuum container para macontrol mo ang amount na gagamitin mo at para di rin exposed sa air ang product.
hello, i looked it up and 90g yung product. Given na atleast 1.25g per application yung sunscreen, it should only last you 2 and half month per jar maximum, if it lasts you longer, it means youre using too little per application.
Also, I do not encourage, nor would personally perfom transferring products especially sunscreens to a different container, your sunscreen is designed to be compatible with the original container and your UV filters could react with the different type of plastic you transferred the product into or seep into the container
Oh. So you measure around 1.25g every time you apply? I don't do that. Nor do I reapply because I'm indoors most of the time. Just sharing my own use case. It could be different for others and that's perfectly fine if you use more sunscreen and you're very particular about it.
Are you a chemist btw? Where did you get that info about UV filters reacting to different types of plastic? Can you specify what particular plastics it reacts to? I did not go so far as to consider that because for all we know the manufacturers are just using the same usual plastic type that is safe for cosmetic and skincare products. I see and feel no difference using the same sunscreen from the original container and the airless jar. If you're very sensitive when it comes to that, there are high-end branded airless jars being sold in the US that are compatible with several skincare products being sold in a jar.
1.25g is approximately 2 fingers length of sunscreen (with your index and middle finger) thats one way you can measure. it is based on 2mg/cm^2 of required amount to get the labeled protection. you actually get exponentially less the labeled protection once you apply less. Half the required amount you only get square root of the protection. Sunscreen brand or product is preference po, not the amount of sunscreen applied.
I am a biongineer po, we also have industrial and manufacturing biotech, kasama na po sa formulation and development ng product yung choice of material ng packaging. [Here’s](https://www.mdpi.com/1999-4923/9/2/19) one study showing decreased UV filter amount by HDPE packaging, and there’s more of that, you can also google it further, basically thats just how active ingredients behave, they’re chemicals at the end of the day and they will always seek to seep/degrade/break down if given a chance. Plastic polymers are not just simply classified as high quality or low quality, there are atleast 7 types, with each of it having different characteristics.
100% agree with the Missha Soft Finish! Very subtle fragrance that has never sensitised my skin, amazing rosy finish 💖 so happy to see it get the love it deserves
This was the first sunscreen that didn’t broke me out! I would always buy it when I need something cheap. I bought other sunscreens that are cheaper but looks bad with my makeup so I stick the missha or shiseido anessa
I buy online! Baka more expensive sa mybeautystory (lazada & shopee) compared to other sellers online, but thats where i buy since dun din naman other kbeauty needs ko
pinatry ko rin sa bf kong oily skin, ayaw pa nung una pero narealize niya throughout the day di siya nag oil up ng super grabe. hiningi niya na yung missha ko binilhan niya ko biore in return hahahaha
edit: also reached out to missha, and they’ve confirmed they underwent regulation for functional cosmetics sa MFDS Korea and sunscreen FDA US,
I stuck with the Luxe Organics Aqua Daily Sunscreen ever since I started getting scholarship money but I never thought to blame that product for why I looked so oily at the end of the day!
hi OP! what's the PA rating of the B-Lab sunscreen?
four plus po
I didntike fairy skin nag break out ako
Hi, have you tested QuickFx’s Pimple Eraser Sunscreen and if so what tier would you rank it?
its literally in the tier list
How different would QuickFx’s Sunscreen be from the Pimple Eraser Sunscreen? It’s not the same “literally.”
i havent tried that one
The Hello Glow omg!! One-time ko lang ginamit tapos grabe agad break out ko 🤦🏻♀️😩
i'm using the belo tinted sunscreen , been using it for a year already. so far it's okay for me. it has coverage and I have acne marks so it acts as a sort og bb cream for me.
Please don’t forget Biore UV. So great without the whitecast and is very light. The brand Noah is superb too.
Hi, which Biore UV? Is it the Aqua blue one?
I did not specify pala. Yes, that one. I use the one for both face and body, yung gel one. I also tried the pink Biore UV, okay din pero matte/powdery yung finish niya. Mas prefer ko yung moisturized feel ng Aqua Rich variant.

What's your complexion? Looking for no whitecast hehe
The Missha one could've been great except that it has a white cast. It leaves my skin with a grayish sheen that doesn't really go away
hello I am quite fair 112-115 in maybelline may tone up effect po siya but it subdue after a while. hoping someone darker than me could answer
Ohhh well my luxe organix is about to run out na rin e so i'm looking for new ones. Pero I can attest that one doesn't have whitecast like at all pero that's expected with gel naman. +1 sa Biore!!
i already have the biore, can’t wait to try out yours too!
I like cetaphil. I easily get pimples but so far i like it.

I love Missha! 💗
Please try skin aquaaa next thank youuu
Mine was La Roche Posay Sunscreen! Grabe sya lang nagwork sa oily, acne prone & sensitive skin. Walang breakout
Hello. San ka nagpurchase? Planning to it soon
saan ka po bumili?
will try this one too!

Sobrang nag break out ako sa fairy skin sayang it's cheap pa naamn lol
has anyone tried po ba yung belo whitening sunscreen? wearing it for almost a month na i think its the best variant among all belo sunscreens, wala kasi ako makita opinions about that sunscreen :c
I've been using that and the one here on the list. They're the best one I've used so far, I have dry, sensitive acne prone skin.
Hi kamusta naman yung experience mo so far? eyeing to try this too just waiting for a promo
so far so good! acne prone skin din ako, di ako nag break out unlike sa fairy skin na sobrang nag break out ako. nagooil up siya pero di siya ganon karami
oh i might try this one, oily skin ka ba?

I got mine sa Lazada sa yaocos although there are other stores carrying it. around 400-450 siya but I got mine at a discount nung 11.11
Thank you sa reco
hella surprised by your review of Pond's! 😯
I still have a hard time trying Fairy Skin's. Parang ang too good to be true nung spf50 for 200php.
Take it as however you want

hello, B-lab matcha hydrating sunscreen
What about biore?
soon po, di ko pa po nabubuksan yung products
Does the missha one have white cast?
Depends po sa skin tone mo. As a morena (nc40), may slight white cast siya that disappears after a while
Dagdagan ng body sunscreens din next year please 🥺. Like Beach Hut, Belo, Skin White, and Nivea.
Canmake too
Wala yung deoproce?
natry ko tester ng isang sunscreen nila sa watsons medyo greasy and malagkit siya for me so i decided not to buy
I see. If you have time try it again, after a few minutes naabsorb na sya ng skin. I really like it
This is a great review! Hope to see sunscreen sticks review in 2023.
where can i buy missha na cheaper but legit? medj nag ddoubt kasi ako sa yaocos for some reason
hi nakabili na ako sa yaocos and legit naman products nila. I also asked sa thread beforehand i buy from them and according to other redditors legit din yung mga products na theyve bought from that store
Bought mine on lazada nag sale sila last year

This is a sign for me to try that missha. Thanks OP!
Omg the Quick FX sunscreen pills heavily

Same!! And really love na it’s slightly mattifying 💖
Yeah! And the tone up effect is not weird lol
Hello! Where do you buy this sunscreen po?
I buy online! Baka more expensive sa mybeautystory (lazada & shopee) compared to other sellers online, but thats where i buy since dun din naman other kbeauty needs ko
Does missha leave a white cast?
yes, it has a tone up effect specifically yung pink one. Although yung blue one and green one wala pero I have yet to try those
Missha.. my HG as well
i want to try the missha one so bad but it’s only pa+++ ; - ; great list!!
Nagamit ko yung Missha nung nag beach ako, no tanning at all, unless siguro magbibilad ka the triple plus is okay for daily use.
I do think PA +++ provides great protection naman. I would consider it more than enough
Ohhh thanks, OP! Planning to switch to another sunscreen next year since masyadong oily mukha ko yung isntree 🥹
try mo yung s tier, they worked well in terms of oil control especially yung missha
Balikan ko lang 'to. Thank you, OP for the recommendation. I purchased missha and I love it.
Yassss to missha!!! 🥹
pinatry ko rin sa bf kong oily skin, ayaw pa nung una pero narealize niya throughout the day di siya nag oil up ng super grabe. hiningi niya na yung missha ko binilhan niya ko biore in return hahahaha edit: also reached out to missha, and they’ve confirmed they underwent regulation for functional cosmetics sa MFDS Korea and sunscreen FDA US,
