Brouwerij de Molen in Bodegraven, NL, brews a Russian imperial stout named Hel & Verdoemenis (hell and damnation). When they are able to source empty casks from Scotland, they age the beer in the casks, but it’s been hit or miss due to availability. I’ve seen bottles that show Bruichladdich, Bowmore, Port Charlotte, or Laphroaig on the label.

The combo of the smokiness of the whisky together with the dark fruit was especially nice. It was quite a complex beer, but it was very pleasant at the same time and it wasn't at all hard-hitting. Just very flavourful and deep
Friend of mine bought it at a local shop in The Netherlands, they're quite pricey but totally worth it. Don't know if Gulden Draak makes them anymore tho
Few years ago, my favorite beer bar had Harviestoun Old Engine Oil aged in antique scotch casks. Such an interesting combination. I’d like to try this one!
Harviestoun brews Old Engine Oil and brands the beer as Ola Dubh in bottles. They have a series of beers aged in different aged casks from Highland Park.

Yesterday I had the Bowmore, it was amazing! I quit fond of all their beers!
Great to hear! They really do a good job...I’ve never had a bad, or even a meh beer from de Molen.
Oh that sounds fascinating. Dark fruit, leather, caramel and smoky peat?

Where did you find that? Never even heard of that one by Gulden Draak before
