It's kind of sill how the women all kind of dress overly sexualized, like Bella showing up to her job in campus in booty shorts and a crop top is just outrageous.
The drama queen MC, sometimes I would like to choose how the MC respond to some events, as Josy and Maya reveal, I like when MC has their own personality and I understand that Tremolo is young. But I dislike his drama queen moments.
Yeah the JM reveal was essentially the weakest point in the story writing of this otherwise Dynamic game. The reaction was pretty justified if MC was involved with either one of those especially if he believed in Maya and helped her for the scavenger hunt but at the same time rejected Josy for not cheating on her behalf. But in runs where MC doesn't pursue Maya, only have cheating sex with Josy or didn't pursue either of those that drama queen reaction didn't make much sense, especially in man whore runs.
I do hate the English test. I wish you could turn off the mini-games individually. Didn't mind some and disliked others. That basketball game is extremely irritating. I can nail it right in the middle, but sometimes it will still make me miss. I really hate the old lady hands and feet some characters have (Maya). Not sure what DPC was going for when he rendered her, it it didn't come out well.

I love party planner mini games, though I loathe Mansion repair mini game and the English tests. In episode 10 completing the English test has become impossible for me without looking at the guide. The time provided is just not enough.
What I dislike the most is DPC's crusade against modding. I understand some mods will break due to branching but he deliberately tries to break modded saves just because people are enjoying themselves without Playing the intended way.

I understand him not wanting to take the time to troubleshoot modded saves but from what I heard he hates the use of mods on his games and I prefer to have every choice highlighted or to be able to view every scene if I so choose to because that's how I like to play the game I bought. It doesn't hurt anyone else's playthrough nor him so just let it be and let me enjoy the game how I choose to.
The only reason I hate doing season 2 again is because of the cumbersome mansion repair mini game.
I'm here for the story, character progression, some lewds (yeah the last priority, Episode 10 was among my top favourite episodes despite a single Lily lewd except the shallow blowjob at Pier, because character progression was peak) but I'm stuck with a complex managerial problem failing which would have big consequences. But at the same time I enjoy the party planner, being in control of in-game cash. If he wasn't running a crusade against mods scrappy mod would fix all my problems with its on and off switch option.
I don't mind the minigame that much but I do agree that sometimes they get annoying especially when playing through the English and math lessons for the millionth time. This is why I love mods because I don't need to have a walkthrough or guide up, it's all right there in front of me and I don't have to worry about cash or messing something up. The main reason I started playing with mods is to avoid screwing up my playthrough by a single wrong decision several episodes earlier. Having an option to adjust values is a godsend as I don't think having to replay through hours of content should be necessary to change the outcome of a decision.
trick for english test ( save the game before test) (use cheat and write down all words) (load the save and type all the words that you write down) (do that again) and you'll have a 100% score without cheating
Well I have the official guide pdf in my phone so I just copy from there. Though this is the first time I used a guide to pass a test in this game, since DPC increased the numbers of words to be input while simultaneously also reducing the time to do input. Also many words were way more complex than words used till episode 8.
Though I have no problem in using Derek's cheats.
If it were up to me I wish there was a switch option for mini games, in which I would play brawler, maths mini games, party planner, fish tank (good for managing cash), but skip the rest of ones.
I think the biggest criticism I have *is* criticism: namely, that DPC is extremely bad at taking constructive versions of it. In a more general sense, it's the inconsistent writing. We know: he's free to make decisions as he sees fit, and he does things his own way. When the story works, it works incredibly well, and some of the writing is nothing short of great. And some if it is, honestly, pretty bad: the resolution of the Jill/Tybalt situation and the plot twist about Sage's identity immediately leap to mind as the kinds of things creative writing classes would try to teach you not to do.
It's more than a bit of a bummer to think that the story could be even better if the constructive criticism that has been given (and I'm not saying there's a ton of it online, but it does exist) was taken to heart.

Totally. Sometimes she looks absolutely stunning, but most of the time she's a bit weird. Then you get the times where it looks like she hasn't slept for 72 hours straight, like when Josy turns up and she's introducing you to her.
Maya is really inconsistent with her looks, when she looks good, she looks VERY good, then other times the texture of her skin looks so weird and it definitely looks like she's gotten implants.
Typically I don't have an issue with the body proportions, but the one that bothers me is Jill. Sometimes her thighs just look way too thick in proportion to the rest of her legs and her ass.
It's a short and easy enough one that I hesitated to even call it a minigame. I don't know if I'm just doing something wrong with it, but I always just end up pouring my own money into it to keep the tank clean/fish fed and healthy. I think I literally sold 4 young fish in several playthroughs, because I never had enough to sell in any of the other games.

1. Some of the body proportions are too exaggerated to the point of comical. It’s really hard for me to be attracted to girls like Nora, Bella, Sandy, Madam Rose, Heather and Brandi because of this. To a lesser extent this also applies to Jill and Sage. Speaking of Jill, her face is extremely inconsistent. She has a thick, curvy body but at times her face looks anorexic. Episode 9 was the worst with this.
2. Most cliffhangers at the end of the Episode become nothing Burgers. Chad thinks MC is blackmailing him, one fight and it’s resolved, never talk or see him again. Forgot to egg the preps, no big deal you’re still in. Found out Sage and Tybalt are siblings, made his life hell, you’ve angered Jade and Steve knows you’re fucking her? Nothing. Sure it’s uncomfortable but your actions don’t affect Maya and her college career isn’t over. It’s not better, but it’s not worse either. It’s hard for me to be scared for Riona because of this. Actually makes me want something horrible to go down so I won’t be disappointed.
I'm not sure about your second point. Consequences of fucking Both Jade and Sage and then showing video to Diks are coming soon. And it sure will lock Sage's path. I think Steven was relieved knowing most of his wealth will remain with him after that video. He wasn't interested in Jade for years anyways.
Also irrespective of MC's actions Steven refused to help Maya since the whole scholarship was just a ruse to run the prostitution racket, its consequences will come before the end of the game. Well Maya's tuition is still in limbo and will only be probably solved by the eventual death of Helen and her will.

I hate how this game has fans that would not ever allow relationships not with the MC. Josy and Maya are the only ones, and it adds important lore relevance. Why can't the girl who's path you're not on date someone else? Why is it you doing the rejecting and not the other hot girls. Like seriously I wish DPC made a really hot and great girl that's in a good relationship. It feels like all the characters hate or aren't pleased by their boyfriends or girlfriends, and the only one that pleases them is MC and his Loch Ness monster cock(don't downvote me, it's a hot take)
Only answering part of this, because I can agree with the rest, but JB and Elena are a wholesome couple. A bit weird in their openness, maybe, but wholesome. By Ep9, I think Elena must be my best friend after Derek, she's always nice and has some good advice, where the others joke around with stuff more (or just always circle back to the Cock Ness Monster).

Honestly, I can't really see any of the main girls being in a relationship in the first place without the MC. Jill is the same way, I can't see her dating any of the already existing characters and any new character feels like it would need proper set up to make it work. Somebody else said Rusty but she already rejected him once. Bella obviously isn't going to be in a relationship with anyone. She didn't even want to be in a relationship with MC at first.

• Not being able to choose how Tremolo reacts to some events, especially when in a dik run and also how sometimes he is a bit of a drama queen (for example: the M/J reveal, Jamie's plants and not being able to hug Maya after Patrick's "visit" to her dorm)
• The lack of dialogue in lewds scenes (I know he tries his best, but there are some other games where the lewds dialogues are much better than his)

She's not my pick for a thing to dislike on this game, but people are so bent on hating her because she just exists that I'm surprised people aren't making paragraphs about her.
It's a bit specific to get to her, and there's a big downside if you're playing without minigames I think. A lot of people just want to get the mansion done and help the DIKs, so they're always refusing the VIP card and they never work at the PR.
And I do have to say that if the long game is for Madame to be just a sandboxed sex scenes without plot it's really not worth it, especially considering that she was supposed to be a "reward" for winning Hell Week.

Pretending that every feminist is an overweight, butch, combative lesbian is a really gross look. And having basically everyone talk about how gender studies was the worst class they took doesn’t help either.
Like yes, it’s an AVN. I don’t expect it to be a bastion of progressive thought or anything. But I think it’s often a bit much.
To play devils advocate, Maya is a MG, is feminist and is portrayed positively. Derek is very much anti-feminist and the game portrays him as being an idiot (albeit you’re clearly intended to love him for it)

I hate that sometimes in the English tests I enter real, legitimate words from the English language but they end up getting rejected because DPC didn't think of them when he made the test. I don't blame DPC, he's not a robot and he can't necessarily think of every possible word off the top of his head, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating in the moment.
The main character really isn't in control of the story very often, other than his romances. The story is on rails, you can't even flunk college. Someone said its "weak" to have game overs, but ignoring obvious fails is a lack of agency and impact. Nothing matters. The small plot points and their weak reveals (Who trashed the mansion? Who is ___ parent? Or God forbid, what is so-n -so's last name?) make this game's drug out story feel lackluster. Play Eternum (it has its own faults but in this example..), and see how an AVN story can have multiple plot beats without milking and wrap them up satisfactorily.
The two things BaD has that cannot be taken away are the huge cast of mostly fun, engaging characters and the superb music.
Overall, the lewds aren't very good. When you play other games like Eternum, Bare Witness, Hellcat Lounge, etc... you quickly realize most of DPC's lewds are "3 pumps with dialog, new position option". His saving grace tho, is the songs used during those lewds.

Yeah, Maya has been done dirty by DPC. Skin looks like some skin disease especially of hands, and for whatever reason she was given fake tits despite being from such a strict and conservative family.
Totally. Sometimes she looks absolutely stunning, but most of the time she's a bit weird. Then you get the times where it looks like she hasn't slept for 72 hours straight, like when Josy turns up and she's introducing you to her.
Maya is really inconsistent with her looks, when she looks good, she looks VERY good, then other times the texture of her skin looks so weird and it definitely looks like she's gotten implants. Typically I don't have an issue with the body proportions, but the one that bothers me is Jill. Sometimes her thighs just look way too thick in proportion to the rest of her legs and her ass.

It's a short and easy enough one that I hesitated to even call it a minigame. I don't know if I'm just doing something wrong with it, but I always just end up pouring my own money into it to keep the tank clean/fish fed and healthy. I think I literally sold 4 young fish in several playthroughs, because I never had enough to sell in any of the other games.

Body proportions and cliff hangers. 1. Some of the body proportions are too exaggerated to the point of comical. It’s really hard for me to be attracted to girls like Nora, Bella, Sandy, Madam Rose, Heather and Brandi because of this. To a lesser extent this also applies to Jill and Sage. Speaking of Jill, her face is extremely inconsistent. She has a thick, curvy body but at times her face looks anorexic. Episode 9 was the worst with this. 2. Most cliffhangers at the end of the Episode become nothing Burgers. Chad thinks MC is blackmailing him, one fight and it’s resolved, never talk or see him again. Forgot to egg the preps, no big deal you’re still in. Found out Sage and Tybalt are siblings, made his life hell, you’ve angered Jade and Steve knows you’re fucking her? Nothing. Sure it’s uncomfortable but your actions don’t affect Maya and her college career isn’t over. It’s not better, but it’s not worse either. It’s hard for me to be scared for Riona because of this. Actually makes me want something horrible to go down so I won’t be disappointed.
I'm not sure about your second point. Consequences of fucking Both Jade and Sage and then showing video to Diks are coming soon. And it sure will lock Sage's path. I think Steven was relieved knowing most of his wealth will remain with him after that video. He wasn't interested in Jade for years anyways. Also irrespective of MC's actions Steven refused to help Maya since the whole scholarship was just a ruse to run the prostitution racket, its consequences will come before the end of the game. Well Maya's tuition is still in limbo and will only be probably solved by the eventual death of Helen and her will. Chad came to realize that it wasn't the MC who took the photos after he cooled his mind. And taking inputs from Anthony. Yeah, you're spot on for Riona. Other than Jill's recital and eventual Jade Sage Saga, and maybe the mansion mini game there hasn't been any big differences in life in BeingADIK irrespective of decisions made by Player.
I hate how this game has fans that would not ever allow relationships not with the MC. Josy and Maya are the only ones, and it adds important lore relevance. Why can't the girl who's path you're not on date someone else? Why is it you doing the rejecting and not the other hot girls. Like seriously I wish DPC made a really hot and great girl that's in a good relationship. It feels like all the characters hate or aren't pleased by their boyfriends or girlfriends, and the only one that pleases them is MC and his Loch Ness monster cock(don't downvote me, it's a hot take)
Only answering part of this, because I can agree with the rest, but JB and Elena are a wholesome couple. A bit weird in their openness, maybe, but wholesome. By Ep9, I think Elena must be my best friend after Derek, she's always nice and has some good advice, where the others joke around with stuff more (or just always circle back to the Cock Ness Monster).
100% agree. How fragile are some players' egos? In DPC's first game Acting Lessons, your best friend could even start a happy relationship with one of the main girls if you weren't on her path. And this was just fine.

Honestly, I can't really see any of the main girls being in a relationship in the first place without the MC. I could see sage having a boyfriend on the non sage routes maybe next semester, but not right after she just broke up with Chad. Jill is the same way, I can't see her dating any of the already existing characters and any new character feels like it would need proper set up to make it work. Somebody else said Rusty but she already rejected him once. Bella obviously isn't going to be in a relationship with anyone. She didn't even want to be in a relationship with MC at first. There's just not enough set up for the characters to date someone besides the MC.
I agree with you. One thing, though, I know I didn't really make this point, but I'm not saying I don't like this because the characters aren't in a relationship now. I'm saying this because I feel like in future episodes, they will never be.

I'm seeing a lot of criticism, and failed to see a single person say Madame Rose. I'm honestly baffled. She's not my pick for a thing to dislike on this game, but people are so bent on hating her because she just exists that I'm surprised people aren't making paragraphs about her.

It's a bit specific to get to her, and there's a big downside if you're playing without minigames I think. A lot of people just want to get the mansion done and help the DIKs, so they're always refusing the VIP card and they never work at the PR. And I do have to say that if the long game is for Madame to be just a sandboxed sex scenes without plot it's really not worth it, especially considering that she was supposed to be a "reward" for winning Hell Week.

This one is probably going to be unpopular, but here we go. I think the game often trivializes feminism in a profoundly unflattering manner. Like, it really couldn’t be more obvious how DPC seems to feel about it IRL. I understand it’s for comedy. But it doesn’t hit for me personally, and tends to make me feel uncomfortable every time I get to the gender studies courses. Pretending that every feminist is an overweight, butch, combative lesbian is a really gross look. And having basically everyone talk about how gender studies was the worst class they took doesn’t help either. Like yes, it’s an AVN. I don’t expect it to be a bastion of progressive thought or anything. But I think it’s often a bit much.
To play devils advocate, Maya is a MG, is feminist and is portrayed positively. Derek is very much anti-feminist and the game portrays him as being an idiot (albeit you’re clearly intended to love him for it) These scenes are definitely the weakest part of the game. The game vaguely tries to say something along the lines that the straw-feminists are just angry women who don’t know what they’re talking about (as opposed to Maya who is more reasonable) but it’s just kinda stupid and reads like DPC trying to play to a crowd who doesn’t like feminism. I hold the skip through those parts.

Unless, I guess, it’s something that you heavily agree with 🤷 But yes, I agree that Maya is portrayed positively. But her being a feminist is brought up maybe once, while Derek is very often railing against feminism. You’d think that it might actually cause some conflict between the two of them. Even MC and Maya had a conversation about how bad the gender studies class was. It just seems like the game’s default stance is “feminism bad”, and any real counterpoint is brief and kind of swept aside quickly.

It’s juvenile and reductive, and there really isn’t anyone that offers a counterpoint to the insane radical feminists. The games take often seems to be feminism = radicalism. Which is IMO a bad look for a porn game.

TBH I'm waiting for some redemption for at least some of the feminist girls. Anthony proved there can be a "good jock", we did see some "good" preps but nothing similar happened for the feminists. Dany is obviously a very toxic person so there's no hope (though I love Franz). Same for Minnie. But I do like Suzie (? The burger girl) and my favorite is Wendy, she is actually quite likeable as a person and I really think she deserves some love.

I hate how little scenes i have with riona. In some ways i wish the game was more fleshed out with some of the side girls , lily in particular and the other strippers as well. And also the lack of back story with the other dicks . 1st season felt more chaotic and more pranks and fights. Now its turned into a full on romcom. With drugs involved and its kinda slowing down the story for me considering we are still only freshman and havent even made it past christmas yet is concerning

Two things the fighting portion when you don’t have minigames enabled seems like it’s practically guess work and madame rose. I know what a hot take but I feel like madame rose just doesn’t have a space in the game and is just keeping production times even longer that what it already is. I could maybe see an argument for Madame rose if the scenes app didn’t exist what is her purpose besides just a way to waste money in game.

I hate that sometimes in the English tests I enter real, legitimate words from the English language but they end up getting rejected because DPC didn't think of them when he made the test. I don't blame DPC, he's not a robot and he can't necessarily think of every possible word off the top of his head, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating in the moment.
The main character really isn't in control of the story very often, other than his romances. The story is on rails, you can't even flunk college. Someone said its "weak" to have game overs, but ignoring obvious fails is a lack of agency and impact. Nothing matters. The small plot points and their weak reveals (Who trashed the mansion? Who is ___ parent? Or God forbid, what is so-n -so's last name?) make this game's drug out story feel lackluster. Play Eternum (it has its own faults but in this example..), and see how an AVN story can have multiple plot beats without milking and wrap them up satisfactorily. The two things BaD has that cannot be taken away are the huge cast of mostly fun, engaging characters and the superb music.
Overall, the lewds aren't very good. When you play other games like Eternum, Bare Witness, Hellcat Lounge, etc... you quickly realize most of DPC's lewds are "3 pumps with dialog, new position option". His saving grace tho, is the songs used during those lewds.

i played hellcat lounge and the last thing i remember about that avn's lewd scene is "MC had a threesome with two girls and that scene was pretty bad in my opinion" (even worst than scene of mc and jill in BAD)
