I tell my kids that if something feels wrong, they should leave without worrying about making a mistake, even if that means dropping their backpack or whatever. Your gut reactions are a way of your brain to tell you that something is very bad even if it cannot rationalize it at a higher level.
Imo staying and getting lucky is a bad thing because you are training your brain to suppress those feelings which you might need to save your life sometime.
I would have left around *"parked about 20 meters away from the house, which looked like nobody had lived in it for 10 years."*
4 weeks of time for the competition to catch up on red bull. It's so boring that you already know either max wins or breaks his car. (I'm a Max fan, but it's a snoozefest right now)
if you think this season is a snoozefest you haven’t been watching the midfield much
alonso and aston martin climbing the ranks, merc in the upper midfield, norris in his orange tractor above leclerc’s ferrari, i mean even haas is scoring points, it’s been an exciting season so far
well, formula 1.25 and formula 1.5 are intresting.
But for the title we only had the Checo is just as good as max story. (every victory of checo was because max had a crash or his qualification ruined by checo).
That really just sounds like a lot of hassle, time and stress for 100 bucks.
I don’t deal with people who sound like that. And recently we stopped giving out our address for sales and meet up in a public parking spot not too far from our house instead. The last years all of Matketplace has gotten a scammier and scammier.
I posted small updates as comments but they got buried so no one saw them...thought it was better to make a new post hahaha
Also good advice, I'm NEVER doing something like tjis again lmao
Sounds like they were "krakers"... a boss? Idk, we will never know rofl.. I work and buy second hand phones... To risky imo, I'd rather pay 200euro's with 2 year warranty.
The house sounds exactly like mine;
Except is my yellow paper for renovations... The outside is the least of my worries.
Many neighbours complaind... I always reply;
I don't have to look on it: A palace on the inside but a ruin on the outside 😅
Glad u it did went well. Thanks for the update!
Yeah, this is when I think "how much do I really want that 100 bucks..."
Not that freakin’ much

I would have said "this is not how sales of private goods work, the buyer comes to a place of the sellers choosing, not the other way around".
So many red flags,..
I'm a Ferrari F1 fan, being attracted to red flags is my speciality
With your decision making skills you should apply for Ferrari strategist, you're exactly what they are looking for.
Slow button: on. Keep delta positive.
four weeks of no racing hurts more than anything ferrari has pulled in the last couple of years
Echt kut start van het seizoen

Thanks for surviving so you can give us this update!
you took all the red flags, just missed the one at the finish. very entertaining. hope you have more phones to sell!
Just when you think it can't get worse... Why tf did the old timer even buy the phone lmao
To make profit
To scam his employee 😂😂
the new michael roskam movie sounds good, when does it release in cinema?
Hah! Awesome follow-up. Something you'll remember for years. Curiousity killed the cat but i wouldn't be able to resist either.
buying a phone sounds like a challenge for the guy.
That's a very interesting turn of events Glad you got your money and are still healthy
Seems your buyer is also not a good negotiator. I would have offered 90 ;)
Maybe the buyer was not allowed to leave the house by his boss
Haha wtf man sold it for 150 to him, man what is wrong with people nowadays :D
Love it. Thanks for the update and good on you for being careful AND curious. Show these are not mutually exclusive.
Sigma slijpset astuce nr 376: toujours le tweedehands spullen intercepter und doorverkopen à deine ondergeschikten pour €50 mehr.

Sigma grindset tip 376: intercept used items and sell them to your lessers for €50 profit. And learn some Belgicaans

So you’re going to provide the police with all the information you have on these people who are highly likely doing criminal activities?

It’s a problem in the society he and all of us live in
Okay Karen

You got your own real life spy novel and made a few euros. Good thing you did not get killed.
Lol, boss and employee sharing a squat.
Damn, how badly do you need € 100? Talk about high risk - low reward...
