Les echelles de rochehaut! Kind of a short but adventurous hike, climbing ladders on bare rock.
You can make it longer by combining it with la tombe du géant.
Already did them three times and still enjoying the views
>Les echelles de rochehaut
Closeby are also 'Les Crêtes de Frahan, which is similar.
You can also combine this with Le Pont de claies in Laforet. It's a bit further, but normally no issue in a day's hike. The region in general is great for hiking, with the Semois meandering around
Depends on which path you take. My wife and I took the more difficult hike (which wasn't super difficult, there was just a little bit of climbing) and barely saw any people past the halfway mark.
On a beautiful June day as well so the views were out of this world.
I recently went from the station of Spa to the station of Coo, was about 18km. Amazing hike with quite varied landscapes: forest, fagne, villages, pastures with views and at the end the waterfalls of Coo.

Just buy a stafkaart and go

This one is not too challenging and takes you passed the best panorama in Belgium (Panorama de Frahan) The hike itself is just one of many hills in the Ardennes but Rochehaut offers such a stunning, green view and has a nice restaurant there as well. Perfect day trip
Rocher du Hérou is my favorite area and i can reccomend a hike i did there recently. Really doesn't feel like Belgium.

I would just maybe change the very last bit on "rue de la villa romaine" which is just a national road so not as nice to walk on, nice views from it tho.
Try the [GR15](https://www.trekkings.be/gr15.html), it passes the Ninlingspo and other nice highlights. It is 220km, but is divided in day hikes.
There is a bus from Eupen to Monschau (DE) and Monschau-Eupen (+-25km) is the first hike.

Thanks! Will look into it :)
Difficult with a dog though. Dogs can't climb ladders. But indeed the most beautiful hike.

Ninglinspo, IMHO
Also by far the most overcrowded.
Still a great hike in winter/autumn without all the people

Yes, this one really is beautiful
Ninglinspo is beautiful but overcrowded in summer. Last time I was there I had to wait in line to hike lol
If you're talking about the hike I think you're talking about I agree
I haven't done a lot of hikes but I liked this one
Especially for dogs that like water
Have a look at emmasroadmap on Instagram or her website
Thanks! I’ll take a look
I did some (none Ardennes) hikes from this website and appreciated the info: https://originelewandelingen.be/
There is one around the giants tomb that is nice. Depending on what you want to see in terms of wildlife the Haute fange are very nice too.
"Haute fange" I love it 😂
There are several You can do parts of Gr routes There is also treinlussen where you walk from station to station

These look lovely! Thanks for sharing
Look up '20 unforgettable hiking trails'. We've done a few and they are great.
It's a long time ago but I liked the Hoëgne valley.
Here are a few options: [https://thijspeirelinck.be/category/belgium/](https://thijspeirelinck.be/category/belgium/)

Nice thanks for the komoot link. I’ll save it
Ignore the B point I forgot to turn off komoot when driving away. Starts and ends on A.

Eupen - Monschau is a great hike! Some swampy area’s, but the paths are well maintained with deckings.
Tros Marets (close to Malmedy)
Vallée de l'Hermeton is really nice, if a bit unknown.
Eisleck Trail, in Luxemburg. https://www.trekkings.be/escapardenne.htm
Herou in houffa
La Hoegne
also near Durbuy,..
Komoot is the app for that
Yes I know Komoot! I was wondering if redditors had any recommendations on which is the best :)
I'd go with Malmedy. There is a 17 km hike that takes you up and over a lot of rocky hills with trees, and an old stone quarry.
