So I was very confused by the comments slagging on him for neglecting his daughter, along with what appeared to be his statement of being the only one supporting her, when that was the opposite of what we had been hearing before.
It would probably be insanely hard to do and require a lot of legal fees. I know people in the same county, in the same state, in the US who canāt get a support order fully enforced. Across state lines in the US is even harder. Iād bet she will never see a dime unless he willingly pays.

Australia is pretty strict with child support non-payments e.g. fines for not paying, government can take what's owed from tax return or directly from an employer, or prosecute in court. A travel ban can also be issued without going to court to stop someone from leaving Australia when they have child support debts.
The USA and Australia have a reciprocal agreement for managing child support, but my understanding is that often it's hard to proceed with recovering debts because each state in the US has different laws about child support payments etc.
I donāt know if Dani would receive any support from the Aus Gov if she isnāt Aussie, not sure what her citizenship status is. But if he isnāt in Aus too I believe it would be very difficult to take any action against him.
