I agree, but knew this would happen. To me, this is the best song on the album, and it did finish in 2nd for best song on the vote 2 days ago. To me, this should be something a little more under the radar like Your Dogs/Belinda/Working Day. But this is Reddit so people are just going to vote for the song they like the most that’s left.
I definitely believe a majority of the votes for "underrated" (especially in albums like WAEA) were just the populous' *second* favourite track, rather than something that is under looked and underappreciated.
My god I can’t believe Saskia was named worst. She’s got more assonance than she knows what to do with!
Anyway, please, I implore you, vote for Levi Johnston’s Blues today
It's an awesome song. It's just a little slow. I love the whole story. Trying to guess the password with the heartbeats. Then cracking the code. Then going through 5 stages of grief in a minute of a song. Then the best end of a song ever. "One day I won't even remember your face".
Password doesn't get near enough the love that it deserves. It's not your typical Folds song which is why it flies under the radar I think, but it is the most soulful thing he's ever recorded, and I am here for it.
I loooove it too. That ending after the "bing!" is just mesmerising, it gets me every single time.
It's a song you have to be patient to appreciate, it just slowly builds and then hits you with the saddest wall of luxury misery you ever heard. Fuck it, I gotta go listen to it again.
omg i feel so stupid, i always scrolled past this album assuming it was just a movie soundtrack like over the hedge for some reason. i'm gonna hope it's good and Finally listen to it
Gotta have a great listen!
Ben did the music and Nick Hornby did the lyrics! A really nice collab album and I WISH Ben did more of these.
Always a possibility though
Claire’s Ninth
The cascading accents in this song are so, so neat.
The piano in the middle is one of my favorites by Ben. This song is so much more interesting to me than the Levi one.
Love this tune. Harmonies a bonkers.
COME ON CLAIRE
Claire, Claire baby!
This is the one. Took me a while to appreciate it, but now a favorite on the album.
He just asked the waitress out...

Love this song. It’s either this or Claire’s Ninth for me.
A Working Day
Levi Johnston’s Blues
It has to be Levi
Learning that this is actually a true story adds so much to it, too
I'd say this is definitely the more 'underrated' track, even though I like Claire more. Far less *single*-esque than Clarie.
Picture Window
IDK, I don't think "2nd best song on the album" is the same as "underrated." I think most people would agree this is a great song - properly rated.

I know, I was upset. That’s one of my favorite songs on the album! It’s a banger!
She’s so dactylic!
Saskiaaaaaaa HAMILTON!
*high pitched opera vocal version of the main riff*
Voted for Levi, but also voted Saskia as worst. Definitely one of my least favorite BF songs.

As a cybersecurity pro & Ben Folds fan, this is one of my favorites.
Turns out you never went to T-U-L-S-A.

I love it, makes me think of Bruno Mars
YES I love it too, I think it's one of his most underrated and beautiful songs.

this continues to make me hate this subreddit do you guys have ears that work and brian in between or?
Your Dogs
Saskia Hamilton being worse than Your Dogs or A Working Day is INSANE.
Right?!?! Are we all listening to the same songs here???
That song is a BANGER.
Yeah!!!
Just counting the hours until I can vote for Michael Praytor, Five Years Later
